Very welcoming environment! I had excellent shrimp tacos! We stopped here before our voodoo tour and glad we did

Great customer service, stopped in for some quick brewskis & nachos before a haunted tour. Establishment was very clean, customer service was great, local beer "MSY" was cold & on point. They also have a beautiful courtyard!

I was talking to some locals, and they suggested I check out American Townhouse so I popped in for a drink. A sign at the front instructs you to use the courtyard entrance, which takes you to the festive back patio. As with most restaurants in NOLA, it's located in what once used to be someone's home. The bar is elegant, and it feels like you at a friend's house with a cool bar in their living room. The place exudes charm. American Townhouse is primarily gay friendly, but all are welcome. The bartender was sweet and attentive and made me a delicious D'Usse French 75. I enjoyed my cocktail while grooving to dance music from the videos on the tv. I want to come back and try their food. I've heard they have a good happy hour.HH Wed - Sat 3 - 6 pm Friday after 5 pm $5 well martinis til 7 pm

Spacious and cooling, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Food was tasty and drinks were well done and refreshing. Welcoming and lovely atmosphere. Chef gave us a slice of cheesecake just for fun too so of course I'm delighted by it! Boudin and cream cheese egg rolls, chicken and waffle, death by waffle, and bang bang shrimp taco all highly enjoyed. One small problem of the bathrooms not being well maintained and a pest in one of them but sometimes it's NOLA, what can you do.

First thing, I want to complement the *Chef Cedric* He is an excellent chef, very friendly & so pleasant to talk to His food preparation & presentation were excellent, I will be going back to this establishment. Bar, Restaurant & Courtyard area are very clean, it is a classy bar. Service is excellent, all of the staff were friendly & all of the patrons were very nice. Be sure to order a slice of cheesecake with the seasonal dressing, it was definitely worth the calories.

Walked down Rampart to check out the changes over the years. Stumbled here. Amazing place! Our waiters were incredibly sweet and friendly. Food was amazing asthe prices. Highly recommend!!!.

I'll keep this one short - they were out of over half their menu & the wait was so long, we left, walked down the street for some street food, and were done before our friends got their food.

Can't tell you how it is. Stopped by today after noon and was told not open till 3............

Pros first - the interior, vibe, and energy of this place was welcoming and nicely designed.Cons - food and service. Ordered for 4 of us - an appetizer and 4 entrees. The kitchen was out of a significant amount of food and understaffed. The person taking the food order was new and needs more time to learn the ordering system. Two entrees came out after 30 min, followed 15 min later by the third entree, 10 min later the appetizer and 30 min after that the 4th entree. Ordered a Blue Moon at the bar, was given a High Noon instead. I had high hopes for the place wouldn't recommend this place at its current state, to anyone.
