Alphonso's Seafood

I decided to try this place because people posted positive reviews and it is very close to my home. I called and ordered a fried oyster poboy with well done french fries and a side order of jalapeno hush puppies. I was told to arrive in 15 minutes to pick up my food. I arrived 20 minutes later and then had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my food. The dining room had to be 85 degrees inside so it was very uncomfortable. When I got home, the hush puppies were overcooked to the point that i could only eat one and then threw the rest away. The oyster poboy was just okay. For the price, i expected quite a few oysters, but there were only a few. The french fries were good. If i decide to try them again, i will definitely order something different.

The owners of the restaurant are very welcoming and nice. The restaurant is fairly new and is very clean and modern. The food was really good . We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich , boiled crawfish, crab legs, potatoes, corn , and shrimp. Everything was good, only thing my wife mentioned was the boiled shrimp could have had more seasoning. The menu is a great with a variety of options to pick from. Pricing on menu is really fair and reasonable. Will recommend and definitely be back . Big hidden gem in belle chasse.

The place was clean and neat. The food was delicious and seasoned well and the customer service was top notch. Most definitely a stop and eat!

This place is amazing. Hit them up after a morning of fishing and was definitely not disappointed.Fresh seafood, great people, served us like we were family.Highly Recommend

This has taken over as my favorite place to go to on Belle Chasse hwy. The portion size is good and the food tastes great. The staff was friendly. You can tell the chef puts a lot of love in his food.

Stopped by today and had crawfish, burger, wings and onion rings. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend!

Service was good. I had the fried shrimp and fish platter. The shrimp were okay, but the fried fish was not very good at all.

Perfectly seasoned and fresh!Just stop and have the chicken cracklings! Clean restaurant and everything I have ordered had been above my expectations!

We were on a mini vacation trip down to the New Orleans coast areas and stopped by this restaurant for a quick bite to get out of the heat! We were shocked by the amount and variety of food that Alphonso's Seafood was offering us. Outstanding!!! It was so hot outside and sticky that we were eating a lot of food that we wanted to eat. We started eating Cajun corn on the cob and jalapeño hush puppies, served with a generous amount of homemade Cajun mayonnaise hot dipping sauce! Wonderful! Really enjoyed it too. I had a Cajun grilled cheese sandwich with hand cut fries and my spouse had the BLT on Texas toast. She loved it! Everyone was so nice and friendly! The food was amazing and so was the service. Staff very helpful. Traveling down around that area, make sure you check Alphonso's out!
