The Alario Center has been the home for our local gymnastics meets. The venue is clean and comfortable. We know what to expect from the moment we arrive. The security staff is professional and very kind, especially towards the athletes. The food is always spot on. The popcorn is my favorite. The coffee is too strong for me, but there is something for everyone.

Recently visited Alario center for basketball tournaments. Located in Westwego over the bridge. The decor is that of a high school gym. Teams rented and exit from the same door together. Odd. Security taking their job too seriously upon exiting and not upon entering was super strange. Bathrooms were clean. Food options were extremely overpriced and they want you to tip on top of that. Hoping this place is never a chosen venue again.

We came here for a gymnastics meet and I was glad that it was free parking. We were there for the early session so had our first pick of spots, but the lot is huge so there shouldn't be a problem finding a spot. There was also a graduation ceremony going in next door to where we were at on the same complex and there were still spots. The security getting in was not smooth. One line, with an over zealous security staff and inefficient processes, including yelling and screaming did not help. Once inside, the seating was good as they dived the space into two gyms so you were close to the one you needed to be. Concessions were priced a bit high and their screen had a "tip" option for getting your own food and having them ring it up.

This event venue is a bit out of the way, which is kind of nice. I'm sure its for low budget events to still be able to happen. I came this last weekend for the Curiosities and Oddities Expo. This was the perfect space for it. Parking was free, and there was plenty of space inside for free movement. My main complaint is about food inside of the venue. The options were slim. Very slim and overpriced. The restrooms were clean, and the entire venue was clean. Things seemed to run very smoothly. Entry was timed to ensure covid regulations were maintained. Everything was great.

Not a bad venue... no outside food or drinks which is messed up since you have a competition with kids and they can't even bring in water.

I'm pretty sure this place wasn't all that well thought out. Should we build an arena in the middle of nowhere? Yes, yes we definitely should. Should we make sure there is only one small entrance for everyone? Yes, yes we should.Clearly this place wasn't well thought out at all, so I'm definitely not alone. I'm glad we were able to hitch a ride with some friends, otherwise this place would've been one expensive ass cab ride! No thanks.

The location regarding other venues seems to be pretty poor. Other than that, you get ample parking space even though the exit closest to the street is impossible to get out of if you are leaving an event. Venue was clean, nice restrooms and the acoustics weren't the worst I've experienced. I was here for a Highschool graduation so there was plenty of space for everyone!
