This place has the most extensive and wide array of sushi around. Everything is made fresh, we always go for the all you can eat rolls. I like the deep fried roll, trust me it's worth it, we enjoy the crab salad and gyozo! Parking is a little bit difficult as the parking lot is small, and it's a very busy area for other restaurants. Service is always friendly and the restaurant is always squeaky clean.

I came here for their AYCE sushi and appetizers. I was skeptical because I had a roll here once many years ago and it was disappointing. Not this time. The sushi was fresh and delicious, the staff were prompt and attentive. My waitress was kind enough to explain how AYCE works since I'd never had it before. I left almost uncomfortably stuffed because I couldn't stop eating, it was all so good. Will definitely be back, Ikura has officially redeemed themselves for me!

Not good at all!! Crap service, gave us the wrong rolls, came out late with other things. Fish was chewy, tuna was an off color. Won't ever go back. Could smell the bathrooms from across the restaurant

The sushi was terrible. I'd give zero stars if I could. Tasted old and nasty. The rice was sour. The entire experience was horrendous. Never again.

I wasn't looking for this place originally. I just happen to stop by see what it is all about; since the place I was originally was planning on going was closed for the holiday. I did know till I got there. After looking around and noticed a bunch of vehicles parked in the front. I was curious about it and thought we check it out. Not much parking in the front. Do not be discouraged. However, they have more parking spaces on the side of the building too. Not much as you look on the outside. When you step inside and wonder to yourself; " is this the same place. Looks so much different and elegant. I was shocked in a good way. They quickly sat us down. Got two/three choices. You welcome to go to the bar, regular table seating or tepenyaki (Hibachi grill). We chose to eat at a regular table. They said they offer all you can sushi for a decent price. We took them up on the offer. She gave us a choice of a table or boot seating. We opted for the boot seating. The seating comfortable but not a couch tho. You will feel great while you are a guest dinning there. The seating at regular tables looks great. The seats have full padding. I don't do not know how good they are but look good tho? They took our drink order and dropped off menus for us. One is explaining the rolls. Second one is the sheet you actually order from. Ranges from appetizers, tempura, teriyaki, fried rice, udon, soba, hibachi grilled foods, soups, sushi, sashimi, rolls, salads, desserts , side dishes, etc. they have a few American dishes, but limited. It is a Japanese restaurant after all. Started out with few dishes. So many to name. Takoyaki, I was very surprised to see this on the menu. Especially outside Japan. Takoyaki = Ball-shaped Japanese snack with octopus. Soft shell crab, fried calamari, fried shrimp shumai, spring rolls, crab sticks tempura, chicken tempura, onion tempura, shrimp soba noodles, smoked salmon sashimi, red snapper, pepper tuna sashimi, octopus sushi, who dat roll, and crispy crab roll. We ordered more. Too many to list. Just recommend you try it for yourself. This is good restaurant. I can't think of anywhere else that offers this type of dining in the big easy. Especially good for the money. Food is good. Service is excellent but it depends on who serves you. A bit of a language barrier. It is quickly remedied by another server stepping in to find a solution to your needs. They also offer a fork if you are not chopstick savvy. They don't offer military discount. However, they provide police discount upon request. I'm not sure about first responders too? No mask required. I did not notice free Wi-Fi in here.

The food is great. The service leaves a lot to be desired. The place is split where one half has a few hibachi grill tables and the other half has some dining tables and booths. We ordered a few shots of Jameson from the bar that seemed watered down. But again, the food itself definitely hits the spot.

I am updating my review for the sole reason of bumping 1 star for loss of value by removing the lunch price from being available at all on Saturdays. This happened some time back and I have not returned since. It became not worth the visit for me anymore when the price rose 20 for the lunch overnight. The parking lot is not very big and several spaces are compact only. So be mindful of parking. The staff helped quick to seat us and was nice. There was obvious language barriers, but that did not bother me. There is only two real options--sushi buffet (order at the table style) and hibachi. We did the sushi buffet. We also did the lunch (16 per plate plus 18% is added to the check/ 35 dollar ticket for two with water). There are paper menus on which you can mark your orders and laminated menus that help as a key to identify what's in the individual rolls that you order. There's also nigiri (a cut of sashimi on a bed of rice). I stuck mostly to the finger rolls and had one specialty roll. I preferred just eating the fish and rice without the drizzled sauce so I would probably only get the nigiri next time. If you like nigiri, the price is great for what you get because you can add soup, salad, ice-cream, and/or noodle entre items. The area was spacious and had a fish tank and nice aethetic. The fish was fresh, and i even saw them carrying 2 uncut fish fillets that were to be sized down to pieces that would be put in the sushi fridge at the bar. I would say that the bathroom needs some love. Some spray needs to be put in there or something. Both the male and female sides stunk bad and could be smelled from outside the door. The look of the restroom was not bad (same color tile on floor and wall and clean). This sushi buffet was a nice change from the way I usually experience sushi. You can't leave hungry (or it's your fault), and the quality does not significantly suffer because of the price. Come hungry and try the nigiri.

Where do I even begin. If I could give 0 stars I would. I guess that explains why there was no one in there. I'll start with the first impression walking in, the lady at the front was tremendously rude, when we had a reservation for 7 and showed up at 6:50 and 2 people weren't there yet. we get seated and are being rushed to order. while we are eating our soups and salads, they come and pick them up from us MID BITE because the chef is coming?? didn't ask, just took them from us. the portions of the food were HALF the amount you would get at any other hibachi restaurant (see pics). The vegetables included a one piece of each. the pictures are what was served BEFORE eating. One of us did not receive their steak and the chef asked her to split with the person next to her!!!! and when it came time to pay, the steak was on her bill. You can't make this up. it was 7 o'clock and they close at 10... they were mopping around us while we were eating. We had to yell across the room to get someone to come and get us a drink refill. Our chef was trying his best with the support he was given from the rest of the staff. My meal was $58 for this. I'm not usually a Karen, but the horrible and rude service was the icing on the cake.
