Aguacates Mexican Restaurant

Usually always good. I'm gonna deduct a point though for a burrito which was swimming in a watery pool on the plate. It was more than just the runoff from cooked meat. It was very watery under the burrito. Anyway, out of a good number of visits here, still my favorite Mexican place on the Thomas/190 in Hammond. Still great tasting food. My kids ate it up too. Pamela the server is my fav. Always polite and nice to talk with.

Terrible service and very bland food. Expensive for what you get, even the lunch menu was pricey compared to the others in the area.

I like this place. Prices are very reasonable. Great margaritas and I love the chips and fresh salsa. I love a chalupa or a burrito!

Me and my buddy used to come here all the time when they were still known as El Agave; went there the other day for the first time since the rebranding and I'm happy to report that it's just as good and in some ways better than it was before. The food is delicious and the prices are some of the best I've ever seen; the staff are all super friendly and helpful. The restaurant is noticeably brighter with the new paint and decor; do yourself a favor and pay them a visit if you want some good Mexican food for a great price.

Just ate here and it was wonderful! I got the quesabirria, it came with 4, and they were delicious! The meat had lots of flavor as well as the consommé and the tortilla was perfectly crisped and not too greasy. My fiancé got the pollo fiesta and really enjoyed it, as well as a tamale and chimichanga. Queso and salsa were good, chips could be better but overall it was great! Will definitely be back when in the area. Service was really good as well.

1st time trying it and they spit in my sauce, idk what I did. Never going back again. And the burrito is just meat with bread on top they don't even wrap it

Everyone is very friendly! The food taste great and the atmosphere is very clean and welcoming! I love the salsa and the chicken burrito with salsa Verde! The food arrives quickly and everything has always been correct and very good!
