The Adventures in New Orleans Tour's bus tour was part of our Go City Pass. Pricing and savings vary on which bundle you get and how many attractions you book, but it's great value. Catering to the tourism in the area, this tour company has options to pick up at your hotel or you can meet at their small business front at the start of the tour time. Arrive 10-15 minutes early to check in and get a good spot on the shuttle bus. They are extremely low tech here so I did not get a confirmation email or confirmation number from them, unlike all the other reservations I made. We really liked that this is one of the smallermore intimate tour buses. They have AC! Perfect! New Orleans is hot and humid and I'm delicate. Howie was our driver and extremely energetic and passionate tour guide. Remember to bring cash for tip! The tour is 2.5 hours and it covers the history of New Orleans, the culture, the neighborhoods, a visit at Cafe Du Monde, a visit at a cemetery, and of course what happened during Hurricane Katrina where Howie was a first responder and how the city rebuilt. During my visit I joined many tours, but Howie gave the best overview with corny punny jokes throughout the trip and made everything extremely enjoyable for our group.Highly recommend this bus tour if you are getting acquainted with the city!

Having been on great historical tours in Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC, I was eager to take this tour in New Orleans! This is a tour to AVOID! Our bus was at max capacity, it was a 98° outside and the bus had NO air conditioning!!!! Despite numerous complaints, we were told "it's an old bus and I'm so sorry". As if that was not bad enough, our guide, Mary, had little to no historical information, despite being a NOLA native! Most of her historical information was followed by "I think" or "maybe" or "I'm not really sure" and an insecure giggle. It was a miserable 3 hours! The stops were rushed, the communication poor and the heat unbearable! I even came back to our hotel and let the concierge desk how awful the experience was and begged them not to put people on this tour! Do yourself a favor, spend $60/per person on anything else but this tour!!! You'll thank me later!

This tour was well worth the money and the time. To be honest, we'll probably rebook the next time we visit because it was so informative. NOLA is already rich in culture but this tour helps you understand why, which is so educational. Our tour guide says he does he tours in his spare time but you can tell he thoroughly enjoys History. We tipped him but somehow still felt that wasn't enough to give him the proper flowers he deserves. Hopefully his supervisors gives him bonuses regularly because people like him are hard to come by. We visited soo many historical artifacts I'm sure I've forgotten a ton but these are a few stops of what we seen:- [ ] Starts at US Customs on Canal - [ ] Oscar Dunn Park- [ ] St. Louis Cathedral - [ ] House of Peppers - [ ] Joan of Arch Statue - [ ] Cafe Du Monde - French Market - [ ] New Orleans Jazz Museum - [ ] Willie's Famous Chicken - [ ] Datdog- [ ] Famous Snug Harbor - [ ] Tomb of the Unknown Slave - [ ] Congo Square- [ ] John McDonald schools - [ ] New Orleans Museum of Art- [ ] City Park- [ ] Storyland- [ ] Dueling Oak Trees- [ ] LSU Health Center- [ ] Caesar SuperDome- [ ] Ogden Museum of Southern Art- [ ] Louisiana Memorial Pavilion- [ ] Lake vista - [ ] Half Moon Bar - [ ] Contemporary Arts Museum - [ ] St. Louis Cemetery 3 - [ ] Royal French Hotels- [ ] Seventh Ward- [ ] Bayou's St. John- [ ] Cafe Du Monde - City Park- [ ] Smoothie King- [ ] Tour of the Garden District - [ ] River walk

Took the Adventures in New Orleans Tour with Eric! He was amazing and knew so much about the city! I didn't expect to see so many cool sites throughout the city.I think the icing on the cake would've been to see the 9th ward where the hurricane did some severe damage (I know other tours had this included in the city tour). Despite this, they covered the hurricane in depth and definitely educated us about the city's geographical layout and how it effected more communities than others. It was super affordable - we used Groupon0! Would definitely recommend.

Howie, a sociologist and cultural anthropologist (that's a fact!) disguised as a tour guide, is a hilarious and knowledgeable expert of the New Orleans (pronounced "orlins") area. He has the facts and the jokes and gives you a few chances to get off the bus and explore (including a secret Cafe du Monde that doesn't have a huge line). As a born and raised native, he really understands the material and has a lot of history to share (it helps that he has the education too) and he has a special talent. There's a sobering look at the impact of Hurricane Katrina and its after effects, which really puts it into perspective. As someone lucky enough to have only known it through the news, I didn't know how bad it was until you see it in person. All in all, a great experience - one that you definitely need to get a healthy and bite sized look at the city without having to walk too much.Hot tip: sign up for the "city go pass" and save a little!

I have to give Mike a shout out. A big thank you for allowing us to stay inside your building while we waited for our tour, even though we did not book it through you. I noted your name and company on my yelp review of the tour that we used. You were very kind and I saw how you worked with people in a genuine way. I also noted that since you book the tours from other agencies that people should check you out and I gave them the address of 422 Canal.Again thank you for being so kind. August 22, 2022

What a wonderful guided tour of New Orleans. Rosebud (Mary our driver/guide) was outstanding. Very knowledgeable of the city. She also suggested several restaurants and more tours we might like. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain the day of our tour so we did not get out at the Cemetery. We did stop for a bit to eat at the Morning Call Coffee near the city park. Delicious! Worth the money . I wish we had more time to take more tours with this company.

Chose to do a city tour when I saw you get to ride on an air conditioned bus and I am so happy I did. Usually bus tours make me sleepy but Herman was a great tour guide. He showed us all the different districts, talked about the history and stopped at a cemetery and a cafe du monde. I highly recommend booking this if you are looking for something to do in New Orleans.
