Wonderful locally owned high end jewelry and home goods store. Fantastic selection that helps you find a gift for even the most discerning person that has everything. The service is top notch and their gift wrapping is beautifully done. Highly recommend them!

I received a very nice watch for my bday and needed to have it sized but Corpus doesn't have anything nice. We stopped into Adler's based on friends recommendations. The guy who helped me was very nice and professional (sorry my dude, I can't recall your name). He made sure to use the correct tool as to not damage my watch. He wouldn't take any compensation. He simply asked for a positive review for their services. Our friends swear it's the best watch place in NOLA and I can't disagree.

Want jewelry? This is the place. Rolex? Every style...no problem. China? Why go anywhere else? But I wanted the olive picks and they only come with glasses. Got plenty of glasses...no olive picks. I've been eyeing this new Accutron Spaceview 2020 watch for a bit but there are only a small number of authorized dealers in the US. Since I was going to be in New Orleans, I'd thought I'd check it out in person at Adler's before ordering it direct online. I was helped by Anita. Wonderful person. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Next thing you know, I own the watch. Great price and service. She even text me to make sure everything was ok once I got home. I have no hesitation recommending Adler's.

Hesitated to write a review and instead called and spoke to Coleman Adler. His response (or whatever it was) prompted this review, which they obviously don't care about. I went in to the Canal St store today, and was met by a security guard who had a mask down around his neck... as in, not covering his nose or mouth. He continued to speak to me without putting on his mask, ordering me to sign in while standing very close to me. I asked him to put his own mask on, and he said, "I just took it off." Hmm. That makes sense!!Again, I asked him to put his mask on, as he was standing within two feet of me and speaking directly into my face while inside the store. He mocked me. He REFUSED to put his mask on. I left. Called Coleman Adler, who said, "I'm looking at him right now and he has his mask on." No apology, nothing. Personally, if my name is on the building, I'd take more stock in who is literally representing MY century-old family business, especially to new customers, some with lots of money to spend. And I know 3/4 of the reviewers on Yelp say they were "planning to spend a lot of money!" so I won't go down that road. Just go Jack Sutton and ask for Liz. HahaPoint is, retail is struggling across the board. Customer service is more important than ever. And people can shop anywhere they want, regardless of whether they have $100 to spend or (in some cases) $100,000. It's SO much easier to point and click and get free overnight shipping these days. Who wants to deal with a belligerent security guard or a "family business" who doesn't value or care to earn new customers.

I came in for a small repair on a chain. Tiffany was very nice, and shared the history of Alder's. I'm happy to support a jeweler who has been a staple in New Orleans for over 100 years !

I hate to say it, having had a long family history of being customers there, but their customer service and overall attention to detail has consistently declined over the years. We no longer even bother to check with them when looking for jewelry, fine china, etc. There are too many other options in the New Orleans area which actually seem to welcome, not just begrudgingly put up with, our inquiries and purchases.

Visiting from out of town and stopped in to ask about having my husband's Rolex adjusted. Staff was very helpful, adjusted the watch, and didn't charge a dime for the service.

I needed a simply adjustment to my Rolex watch, great customer service!
