Today was my first visit, but I'm sure to be back. I love the hand painted murals. The selection is similar to Hong Kong Market but there seems to be a few more upmarket options here. There also seem to be more Korean options here which is great since my GF has been on a kick of their cuisine. All in all I love what they've done with the space and can't wait to see what other things pop up in the strip mall.

This place is great! I'm not sure why this store isn't busier. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is very clean and doesn't have that fishy smell some Asian markets have. Also, the bakery part has items from Dong Phuong Bakery, supposedly a lot but we went on a Sunday and maybe they don't get their delivery until Monday or Tuesday. My absolute favorite thing is that they carry the Bao Long pho flavoring cubes that I love and no other Asian market sells. Fun food items: the weird flavors (cucumber, squid) of Lay's potato chips.

Great spot that seems to have out Hong Konged the Hong Kong Market. They have one of the most amazing selections of fresh greens I've seen at any grocery or farmers markets ANYWHERE so far in my life. The fresh produce selection really puts most other grocery stores and markets in the area to shame. They seem to have a larger selection of pan-Asian food items than even Hong Kong market (Hong Kong has gone more multicultural now offering Hispanic and Middle Eastern options that take up more of their space that had been all Asian before). They also have a little BBQ space in the back with cooked pigs and ducks on display. They were still celebrating Chinese New Year when I visited so they gave me a little lagniappe of some ramen noodles during checkout. Overall you definitely should check this place out and do some shopping here and try something out you've never eaten before.

Thx goodness for 88 Farmers Market! It usually takes me 30 to 35 min drive to the closest Asian market. Now it takes me 6 min drive! The market is fairly new open so not everything are stocked as much as other Asian markets. You can find all the fresh seafood and meat on display to purchase and live fish in the tank. I love that I can just drive out there and grab things at the last minute to cook. The market is well lit and clean. I only gave it 3 stars because some of the vegetables are not fresh and maybe because it's fairly new so there are not enough costumers to purchase it fast enough. Can't wait until more shop pops up all the markets and the market is fully well stock.

This place opened up finally! After hearing there's a grand opening last month, went to go check it out and they were closed due to technical issues. I'm so glad they opened back up and its a plus when you live further than Hong Kong Market on Behrman Hwy. This 88 Farmers Market has everything new from home goods to produce. My only complaint is some of their products are way higher than Hong Kong Market. The workers are nice and hopefully they'll have more English speaking ones too rather than any other asian grocery stores with workers that don't speak much English.

I visited this market for the first time - since it has opened. It was very clean, bright, and spacious. The meat/seafood is fresh and properly wrapped. The produce appears fresh, as well. I enjoyed walking up and down the aisles and seeing the exciting, interesting, and unique options they had to offer. The prices are a little higher than those of the Hong Kong market, but not by much. I will definitely be returning in the near future & I recommend this market highly.

First time visiting this place wasn't nice for me. I purchased salmon without noticing how old it really was and when i got home and was getting it ready to cook i noticed how nasty it really looked and that wasn't all, it had the most disgusting smell. So i went back to the store to return it and get my money back and the manager made it so difficult she kept on saying that nothing was wrong with it so she wouldn't have to throw it away. & they dint!. Well she dint refund anything so i was basically pushed to take another salmon good thing they had just brought in a fresh one!!!! Im never ever buyin from there again & if its a farmers market i would expect FRESH! & from what i learned in the past Customers Service & Satisfaction always comes first!! Sad how some ppl are so stingy!

Lapalco Blvd is known to be popular among the Asian people. Hong Khong Market was very popular back then and it's still now. Now, they have just opened 88 Farmers Market. I was very pleased that I got a chance to visit this place while in NOLA for a small trip. Like most Asian markets, this place has a lot of varieties. I highly recommend this place!

Clean, good selection of produce. Fresh fish and seafood, big butcher and reasonably priced. Best thing i enjoy is the made on demand Vietnamese sandwiches,so very tasty. Worried that the large selection of asian products is intimidating many locals. Hope more people start using the store or it may go the way of sterling farms, even though its much better. The neighborhood needs quality grocery stores like this.
