Had a wonderful time at the ball. Good music. Stompers dancing. Tons of great food. Open bar. Indoor outdoor spaces. Everyone in creative costume. Highly recommend. Great way to start the Mardi Gras season.

I won tickets to this event so I was excited to check it out. I really enjoyed the location and seeing all the great costumes. 610 stompers always put on a good show. Music was great as well. I didn't like that over 30 restaurants were advertised..didn't see that many...food ran out before 9:30! If I had paid for this I would have been pi$$ed. Bars were not set up to accommodate the crowds so I had one...yes one beer. Beer tent was outside...in the cold...where half the heat lamps were broken...come on peeps..u can do better than this. I had an ok time but not sure I would pay for this in the future after going once.

The 610 Stompers Ball was some of the most fun I've had in a long time. The theme was Stompermania and to say that everyone went all out, would be an understatement. It was so fun to see all of the crazy and outlandish costumes! It was a perfect precursor to the madness of Mardi Gras that's about to ensue. From the moment you first walked in, the energy was amazing. The music was great and DJ Jubilee did a great job mc-ing. There were free coozies at the event and they had an awesome setup for pictures. Yelp even had a booth upstairs set up where they were doing free wrestler themed face painting. The 610 Stompers also revealed their new dance moves and they were pure fire! The event had over a dozen open bars. I believe they were mostly sponsored by Sazerac and ABITA Beer. They even had ABITA Strawberry on tap which has only been out this season for all of 48 hrs. It was such a pleasant surprise! The longest I waited in line for a drink was maybe 5 minutes which is impressive for how packed the event was.Food wise, I'm still full and it's been over 13 hours since the event ended. They had over 30 local food vendors and I tried about nine or ten before I started getting too full (had to leave room for the alcohol obviously). The winning dishes for me were the brisket taco from new food pop-up Mondo and the crawfish croquettes from Deanie's were to die for. I must have eaten 5 of those crawfish croquettes! The donuts from Bakers Dozen also really hit the spot! All in all, Stompermania was a blast and I can't wait for next year's event!

The 610 Stompers Debutante Ball was off the chain!! It was my 1st time ever attending this event. Let me start off by saying that I felt very safe because of the security check point at the door. As I turned the corners to the entrance of Mardi Gras World, I walked into a sea of people looking like Wrestle Mania fanatics and the 610 Stompers dancers. The place was packed to capacity but wasn't uncomfortable. I had elbow room!I danced, I ate free delicious pizza from Rotolo's and had free drinks all night long!! The huge tent outside kept the direct chill off the river. It was filled with other vendors, music. and a few games to keep everyone entertained. To say that there were so many people in attendance, the lines to the food and at the bar moved very quickly. They even had a free bottled water station to where you could just grab it and go. The 610 Stompers didn't disappoint anyone with the huge screen up on the stage so that everyone could see them as they did their smooth moves out on the floor. There was a live band for the first couple hours that kept us jamming to all of the latest hits and then DJ Jubilee closed the place down!! DJ Jubilee didn't know it, but he was part of the reason why I was there!! Lol I must say, the 610 Stompers sure do know how to party!! Overall, I had a FANTABULOUS time!!

Whoo Whoooo!!! Another fantastic event thrown by the 610 Stompers!! This event was good last year, but last nights event was even better. One marked difference was the genius decision to cap ticket sales this year at 2500. It's still a ton of people, but last year was over 3300 and it was obvious that 800 additional people makes a huge difference! We could all move around on the dance floor more freely this year and most noticeably, the food didn't run out within the first 30-40 minutes as it appeared to do last year. The bar lines were quick with very friendly service too. It's also nice that Mother Nature treated us to a mild January evening this year (unlike last year's cold and windy night on the river). It made it perfect for enjoying the outdoor food and drink vendors. Also, this year the screen above the stage was used to broadcast the Stompers dances. This wasn't done last year and it was difficult for everyone to see and enjoy, this year, no matter where you were, you could see the 610 Stompers smooth, choreographed moves. The band was phenomenal (Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes), and keeping true to the theme London Calling- they kept the dance floor hopping with tunes from primarily the best of the British recording artists. Overall - fabulous, fun and creative costumes by all attendees, good food, good drinks and the crowd had a great time. Well done Stompers!!

Great night once again put on by The Stompers. Great musical show. Great dance moves. I love that I could get my wristband before getting there. And that there were TONS of bartenders. Food was pretty good, but never got a burger from Phill's. So many donuts...The bat-mobile was pretty cool. But it was freezing outside, which also made it difficult to go pee. Dark and cold portalettes are never fun.

It was and ok event. I enjoyed the music, 610 Stompers performance and the food I did get. The website said there was going to be 30 restaurants, but I only saw about 15. The disappointing part was the food was gone by 9:15 pm at an event that started at 8:00 pm. Maybe I'll try again next year.

This is the premier ball in NOLA. What a bargain; plenty of booze( including specially crafted cocktails from Sazerac and beer from Abita) , food, and the best entertainment by the 610 Stompers "Ordinary Men Extraordinary Moves". Of course the 610 Splits are the best Security you can obtain. You will not be disappointed and this event is worth every penny. Endymion who?
