18 STEAK

We took a risk and came here without a reservation on an LSU home game football Saturday night over Thanksgiving weekend.Thankfully, we were able to get a table right around 7 PM for six. Our waiter was very nice and attentive and always checking on us. We started off with the bread, which was complementary and delicious. For an appetizer, we had the meatballs, which were very good. For my meal I had the flank steak. It is a very generous portion. It came with an egg on top of the sliced steak and served on top of bed of fries. It came with a really good dipping sauce. I was not able to finish it. My spouse had a 10 ounce filet mignon that came with bone marrow. I sampled some of his, and it was delicious. Overall, it was a lovely experience with beautiful decor. Next time I definitely want to sit in one of the large red booths.

Beautiful inside and very pretty view of the river. I absolutely love the ambiance. We had reservations for Friday night and the server was fantastic. I didn't care for the complimentary bread. The charcuterie board was not great. The shrimp cocktail was really good. The crab cake was delicious. The Delmonico ribeye was cooked to perfection! The Mac & cheese was awful and inedible. The wedge salad was just ok. The redfish was a good selection but the carrots were hard as a rock. The chicken and mashed potatoes with greens were all good. I think I just expected more from this experience with the prices and Ala Carte menu. We didn't even try dessert.

I am a Texas steak person. I have eaten steaks in many places. I just wanna say that the Delmonico Ribeye at Steak 18 was absolutely amazing and one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. The crust on the steak and the perfect medium rare cook made the meal well worth the price. The service at the restaurant is definitely above par and just because it's in a casino doesn't mean they skimp on anything. JOB well done!!!

The entire experience was amazing, our wait staff was very professional and offered very good suggestions. My steak and the wine choice was perfect.

This use to be one of my favorite places to sit at the bar and order appetizers. Today, we stop by the bar and the experience wasn't so good. We've never been a fan of Mr. Glen because he is not a people's person. He is very nonchalant to say he is bartender. And today made it all the more reason not to like him. Anyway, we went to grab some gumbo because it is very good and maybe some appetizers. The female bartender Grace gave us menus and told us that menu was in place because the inside is fully booked. Cool. We looked over the menu and picked the items we wanted. We wanted the pork belly. She said we don't have that. We haven't had it in a while. I'm like well dang, it's the first thing on the menu. Well give us some marinated shrimp. Oh, we don't have that. We now offer boiled shrimp. Now we are frustrated because you could have told us that when you gave us the menus. So my husband is talking to the guy next to us and expressing how he felt about what just took place. Grace gets in her feelings and says this is my job and you're not going to make me feel bad about doing my job, I left my kid to come here. Prior to that my husband asked to speak to a manager and Glenn was the manager on duty, he basically brushed my husband off. My husband said Glenn doesn't have any personality and is very passive. The guy next to my husband became upset by the way he responded. Back to Grace, she told Glenn what my husband said, Glenn called upper management. I heard him say if anymore complaints, just shut down food orders completely. We will not patronize this establishment anymore.

We dine in here after leaving the edge for a night of comedy and laughter. The redfish was delicious with the bake potato. My blueberry lemon drop was refreshing.

Love 18 steak always have for years, one thing I do not suggest is coming with large tables. I've dined 10 top a dozen times now maybe more, every time they failed pretty badly. It's wonderful for small tables it really is.. 4 tops maybe 6.. DO NOT do 10 tops or more.. save the time and money. They are not efficient with quality of food, temp, or taste at that amount. Even with fixed menu. Hate to do this review but it's what it is.

I visited on a Friday. I booked reservations online. I was immediately seated in a large beautiful booth. Next time I will ask for a water view. I asked for a Mocktail and the bartender made me a delicious blueberry lemon drop. It was perfect. I had complimentary bread but I didn't like it. I ordered the redfish and subbed the side that it came with with broccoli. I enjoyed the atmosphere and meal. I will definitely return.

The space and food was amazing! My husband took me for my birthday! It was a beautiful experience!

I was pretty peeved when I showed up at 10:05 and denied service. Both in the restaurant and the Bar. On a Friday night
