Wanted to Brunch but not in the city because of big events going on. Found this while searching. The building is very nice and appealing along with the inside. But that's where the appeal g stopped. On their website they have a brunch menu but when we were seated without a brunch menu, I asked and the server said "oh we do but we're not today"! Ok so BIG turnoff. My husband and I couldn't find one thing on the regular menu (which was a wrinkled piece of paper) that we wanted. So I just ordered a Rum Punch which was really good. We were the only ones there which was odd to me. The servers weren't apologetic when telling us about no brunch menu and not overly friendly. We were t welcomed when we arrived either. This is a hard pass for m in my brunch adventures.

Everything was amazing!! Yannie was the best server, she was such a sweetheart! The ambiance was great, felt like we were dining with family. AND most importantly, THEE FOOD, delicious! We shared a few entrees and appetizers... Apps: the flakiest beef patties, jerk shrimp quesadillas and fried jerk wings. DELICIOUS!Entrees: jerk lamb chop, oxtails and the fried jerk porkchop was great with the rice and peas, mac n cheese, cabbage, plantain and festival. Get IT ALL. But the star of the show, the entree I selected was the jerk short rib!!! I had to hug the chef, they did that!! Lastly, the carrot cheesecake with rum sauce was very tasty! I could only eat a bite because we ATE everything. Lol. I cant wait to go back! Sorry I didnt take better pics, I was ready to eat!

My friend and I went to the newest location for brunch. It would have been nice to sit in the court yard area outside (wasn't set up). There was only one server working. Looks like they only had one cook in the kitchen. We have him grace due to the face he was working alone. We both really enjoyed our brunch and the vibes. I had the jerk children and waffles. The waffles had a hint of cinnamon in it. My friend had ox tails and grits. The musical was overly loud. The thing that turned us off as well as a group of people we chatted with was..... They don't take your orders like the typical restaurant does. You have to place your own order online via toast. WE DID NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL. On top of that there was no description for the items. I wanted some fresh house made juice. I had to keep getting up from my seat to go to the counter to ask the server questions. Had there were a description I wouldn't have to keep asking questions. That was an inconvenient for me. All in all I have been eating from 14 Parishes from the jump. I think they have the best Jamaican food in the city. However, they really do need to remove the ordering when it comes down to toast.

Update: service is very slow! Food is tasty but not amazing if you're from the Caribbean. My friends from the islands thought the food was just decent.

It was very nice in the place. The waitress was very friendly .The jerk chicken quesadillas, the jerk, chicken, dark meat, and the mac and cheese and the carrot cheesecake ,cornbread rum punch was the best things. But the rice and peas and the spinach rice was dry. The chicken curry didn't have much flavor The jerk pork ribs was dry too. Half the party didn't like their food .

Awesome experience! The food, service and ambiance were all on point. The restaurant gets a five all day. ServiceWe had a group of 23 for a birthday celebration, and the service was outstanding. It started when a gentleman came from behind the counter and asked if we'd like to put a cake we brought in the fridge. He even offered to add candles when I said we didn't have any. Shakiyah was amazing. She was knowledgeable, attentive, fast, and personable, everything you desire in a server. When I asked for the cake, she recommended the dirty dishes be removed, first. And after we sang the traditional Happy Birthday song, the restaurant played Stevie Wonder's "Happy Birthday" afterward. It's little things like this that make a significant, positive impact. AmbianceIt's a beautiful restaurant with great views of the levee and riverfront. To see the huge ships such as the Carnival cruise ship navigate down the river, up close and personal, is a sight to see. They played different genres of music during our time there, and it added to the vibe. The restaurant has high ceilings, is airy, and has nice-looking wooden tables and countertops. The walls are adorned with island-inspired folk paintings. FoodCoconut shrimp: 9/10; tender and fruity, and served with sweet Thai chili dipping sauce.Festival: 9/10; these lightly sweetened, beignet-like, fried logs of goodness were a delightful treat.Beef patty: 8/10; the pastry dough reminded me of the crust from a frozen pot pie, which isn't a bad thing. It took me back to my childhood. Flaky, buttery and spicy.Mac n cheese: 8/10; creamyMashed potatoes: 8/10; seasoned, buttery, and we couldn't confirm if they had coconut milk, but they were great.Oxtails: 8/10; why are these things so expensive?! They were good, but my homemade ones are more tender. They were served in a rich brown sauce with potatoes. Eat these with mashed potatoes or rice and peas. At $25 for 3 or 4 small pieces, it's a turnoff.NY Strip: 8/10; tender and well-seasoned, with a bit of a kick. The fruity Hibiscus dipping sauce is a great accompaniment.Plantains: 8/10; I'm not the biggest fan of plantains, but they were tasty and would be just right on top of vanilla ice cream or in a bananas foster dessert.Jerk wings (fried) w/ bbq sauce: 8/10; what a difference sauce makes. Dip the wings in the sauce before consuming. If they make this sauce in-house, it needs to be bottled and sold. Yum.Callaloo: 8/10; almost tastes like homemade turnip greens.Kingfish bites: 7/10: fried to golden perfection.Jerk wings (fried) w/o bbq sauce: 6/10; they taste burnt and underseasoned without the sauce.Cornbread: 6/10; these bricks were dry as all get out, but others enjoyed them.Curry goat: Others said it was good, but I can't confirm.Curry chicken: Others said it was good, but I can't confirm.Short ribs: Others said it was good, but I can't confirm. We'll be back.

If you don't mind sometimes having to wait a little then you don't want to miss out on some amazing food! The brown stewed chicken and the oxtails are my favorites! I can't get enough! The restaurant is always clean and the servers are friendly.

Great new restaurant in the Point. A little expensive but it hits the spot. You can also find it on Uber eats.

Oxtail and corn bread was excellent. Like previous reviews I agree with comment saying that the rice and peas was not very good. Had lunch during the middle of the afternoon so the place was totally empty. We were the only customers when we arrived. Very nice and large location. It is a walk from the ferry and farther away compared to the pizza place which is right at the ferry terminal.
