Not sure why but this seems to be a favorite among my friends. Short ribs marinated well and flavorful. Also the rib eye was on the good list. Pork belly... is average along with the bulgogi. Too full to try any other meats. LOL I guess that's a lot actually. Plenty of variety with the banchan. Kimchi was good, not too fermented. Lettuce available by request but just the first basket. After that they charge. Ventilation good. Now...service is ok. We had to constantly wave people down because nobody checked back on us. I know Ive seen some people pull the race card out but... Im Korean so they just aren't good w/ customer service all together. A good place will see a banchan dish is empty or tea and will ask if you care for more. Ive been here enough times to prepare myself to wave people down if I need something. Just don't take it personal. $38 buys you All You Can Eat kalbi, ribeye and anything else you see on the menu pic included.

There's another location of this restaurant that popped up in Lynnwood but I happened to be with my mom in the Olympia area and decided to try this place out to see what the hype was about. We walked in and weren't greeted by the woman at the cash register, but she did seat us once she was done closing out the bills or whatever she was doing. It was a cold day, and sitting under a BBQ fan on the non-bbq side of the restaurant added a really unwelcome draft that blew cold air on us our entire meal. My mom brought it up to the staff and they turned on the fan (so that air would be sucked away from us instead of toward), but it didn't help much.We ordered fried mackerel, spicy soft tofu soup, and the fried baby octopus (). The food came out very quickly, but also cooled down even quicker because of that dang draft! Even the soft tofu soup, which is served in a stone pot, was at room temp within a few minutes and cold before we finished eating. And we aren't slow eaters.The rest of the dishes didn't have the luxury of being served on hot stone, so they cooled down even faster, which was really unfortunate because they all had good flavor. Side dishes were also good, though I did find it a little nod to the cheap/fast quality when the sweet potato dish actually had white (unsweet) potatoes and the sauce was pure corn syrup.Overall it was a so-so experience. The soft tofu soup is a safe bet - I thought it was tasty and it was nice to have hot soup with rice on a cold day. Staff were nice and left us alone, though my mom being Korean it was a bit easier to call out and get someone's attention (Korean style) so I'd image it could be frustrating if you go with a more Western mindset of waiting for a server to come check on you every few minutes because that likely won't happen.

When we went, it was on a whim. I was starving and saw the place and decided that I could use some Korean BBQ in my life. We walked in and waited around 2 minutes to be seated. That's when the waiting ended; the service was lightening fast, and they were as nice as you'd expect. Having lived in Asia, it's not an odd thing for me if folks from there aren't falling all over me with smiles and "thank you" greetings every ten seconds.We ate and we're out of there, and I couldn't have been happier. It was a tad bit pricier than I would have liked, but so are toilet paper, electricity, and water.If you want a smaller place with better than decent offerings, and the best non-smiley service in the region, go there! The inside is nicely lit and cozy as well. The chairs aren't the best, but I wash eating them, so I didn't care.

It was actually really good! I was pretty hesitant after reading all the reviews previous to mine regarding "rude" servers and the issue with the demand for tip. That was not the case for our party of 6.We went on a 5pm Saturday evening for my son's 16th birthday. There was no wait for us.We ordered the $32 AYCE kbbq and there was a vast selection of meat, that we hardly got to try every single one, as we got so full with the portions of meat we did receive! Their variety and amount of banchan was a plenty. The servers were actually really nice and kept coming back to check on us and replenish our meat/beverages.We really enjoyed the beef bulgogi (we had like 3 rounds of that), beef brisket was yum. Both tender meats. We also ordered the pork belly, which to me was pretty good but not the favorite out of the meat choices. And lastly we ordered the spicy pork bulgogi, which had great flavor, but was just a tad too spicy for me! But my heat tolerance is about a 2-3 star. It was tasty, though! My mom paid the bill so I'm not sure if there was any push on the tip, but the lady at the counter was actually nice! Maybe we tipped her the amount she wanted Would recommend!

Had dinner with my wife, the food was ok for the price. We had the bulgogi, angus steak, black pepper pork belly and octopus. The service was ok, however the octopus caused my wife to feel sick. Usually we always get octopus no matter where we go as it's a delicacy we enjoy. Must have been a bad batch. What really set me off though was them specifically requesting a tip. An then made the comment "should have went to McDonald's if you didn't want to pay". I am all for leaving a tip and making sure I pay for the food I want to eat. If you are going to ask for a tip charge more to cover what you need to, don't ask for customers to leave a tip if the service didn't call for it.

The best Korean bbq I've ever been to. Did all you can eat and we ate our hearts out. The service is so quick. It's clean and friendly environment. The meat was amazing and loved the sides. And the soju was fresh and highly recommended. Xoxo love this place.

We had two adults and one 4 year old child dining in their restaurant. They charged $17 for the 4 year old who only had two broccoli for the entire meal...When we asked for the vegetable, garlic and pepper set to wrap the pork belly, they told us impolitely that "the second round will be charged" before they even served the first round.. The food quality was below average comparing to other Korean BBQ restaurants around the area. There was no service what so ever, they never changed the grilling plate or refilled the hot tea for us for the entire dinner. Please avoid this restaurant, we will share the bad experience with all friends and family.

THE SERVICE IS SOOOO BAD & ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. How can they be in a service businesses!!! If there is minus one million I will give them minus one million. I asked for more one of side dishes, she said it is only allowed one time only. Never heard such a thing ever, ever in Korean restaurants. I will never never go back there!!! When we were there around 1:30 Sat afternoon, we were the only customer there but the waitress never came back to check on us. We had to wave at them several times to get the attention. Finally one of them showed up then she said the side dish we asked is only allowed to have One time only!!!! I don't understand how they can work as waitress in the restaurant. Horrible restaurant in Tacoma!!!!
