Awesome food. The chili is the bomb, and the cheese burgers are off the plate. Also, they have a great breakfast. Penny, the owner is a very sweet lady. Highly recommend.

Fast, friendly, and economical breakfast. Came here and enjoyed a quick delicious breakfast. Coffee not the best but food makes up for it. Pancakes were decent. Hubby didn't care for the French toast but what do you expect for less than 10 bucks. May or may not come back. We shall see. Check them out if you're in the area. Free parking on Sundays.

This is the cutest diner! The Denver omelette was awesome. The waitress was super sweet and attentive. The prices are unbelievably good. This is definitely my new favorite spot! I can't wait to come back!

GREAT prices for some really solid, classic, diner-style food. Very friendly/personable staff, cozy atmosphere. Food was great, but the real star here is the prices. If you're looking for a diner that actually still retains diner-style prices without sacrificing quality, this is the place for you. The menus shown on the Yelp listing are indeed up-to-date at the time of me coming here. Good stuff!

Family owned breakfast place. Great food, simple and affordable. It is good to have a breakfast place where you can go in and spend $20-$30 on two people...not like other places that charge $40 for eggs. Would suggest more flavor/spices added to the food and maybe some updating/renovations...other than that, everything is great.

Cozy, pristinely preserved piece of Chicago circa 1964. Must be experienced to be believed. Great omelet, loving service.Oh, yes, and if you get there around 5:30 in the evening on a Tuesday or a Wednesday (thanks Mark Brown), you will meet Fred, who survived the Battle of the Bulge, just turned 100 years old, and still drives.

Came for brunch order came out quick waiter was super nice and really attentive food was not expensive and was delicious would definitely come again

I've been going to this place for several years now and I've always enjoyed the personal attention I get from Penny, the one-woman orchestra who owns the place. I enjoy the quiet atmosphere where I can read or reflect while eating the delicious food. More than once I've engaged in conversation with Penny and one or two regulars sitting at the counter when I approach to pay my bill. I recommend this cozy place to anyone who wants to feel at home while eating good food at reasonable prices.

Food is always fresh and made with love! Service is great Penny is very nice. She makes sure everyone is happy with their food. Love the diner you don't see diners like this anymore. Feels homey.
