Neuse River Brewing & Brasserie

Note - they have a cafe menu during the day and serve the entire menu later in the day. This wasn't an issue for us.The fish n chips came with a huge serving of fries. This was a great meal to watch the game and enjoy a beer. I tried two different beer and both were really good. This is a solid brewery with good food. Cool outdoor area when the weather permits.

I had a severe craving for poutine after witching the Mahalo My Dude crew chasing mtb trails and Poutine in Quubec. This place did not disappoint. This would be considered a non-traditional poutine by Canadian standards, but very delicious nonetheless. With the craving subsided, we decided to prolong our stay and indulge in the beer and dinners. Everything was excellent and the staff was on it, knowledgeable, and helpful. Apparently they have special meals on certain nights (Italian night on Wednesdays) but be sure to arrive early else they will sell out. If you can make it through to the desert, try the bread pudding. Yum. We'll definitely be back.

I came over after seeing high level reviews about their burger. After a long morning of doing deliveries, it seemed like a good place to stop. I had a flight of beers, they have a large variety of Belgian beverages, but you can still get an IPA there, a sour there, or a lager. I went with the Riverkeeper's Wit, it reminded me of a European beer I would have drank during the summertime in Milwaukee. Plus they have Casamigos Reposado, my favorite tequila.I enjoyed the burger, it was cooked to a solid medium. The crispy onions and garlic aioli gave it a lot of flavor. The burger also had house pickles, and I would have taken an extra ramekin of those! My issue was the bun would have been much better toasted. The French fries were ok, they were your standard shoestrings, and they could have used a little seasoning. I would probably opt for some other side.Very nice staff, super engaging, and helped me navigate through the beers. Good place to visit in Five Points.

We've been here for the mussels on a cold, rainy day and came back on a sunny, 100 degree Sunday and could not resist ordering the mussels again. They are just lick the plate clean good! Cold day, hot day, any day really, is a good day when these mussels are involved!

Came back for lunch! Although the host was pretty rude and weird our service made up for it by being super attentive and friendly! Food was great as well!

Wow. Wow! We had the best experience here. We ate outside under tge umbrellas on a warm fall day. Let me just say, this is the place to do that. Even their indoor seating is essentially outdoors because on a nice day they open the garage doors. Bathrooms are all gender--Yay!Okay now that I've whetted your appetite, onto the food.Bangers and mash is a cozy meal with gravy and mashed potatoes and peas. It was fun to have slightly upscale comfort food.The burger is FANTASTIC!!! The soft brioche bun with the tender meat was diviiineeee. I subbed salad for fries and MY GLOB!!! Perfectly dressed too.Our server was an absolute delight to the max. Hardcore.The only negative thing I can say is that the fish and chips was 1/2 good. The good part being the fries!! The fries are like nicer mcdonalds fries and they're so good. The fried catfish was strong tasting and the beer battered fried situation made it taste like a mouthful of grease. But that's just me.We'll definitely be back!Love it!

I went to Neuse River to meet a buddy for drinks/dinner and had a super solid experience. The space is nice, the beer was great, and the savory, salty poutine fries could not have tasted and better with a cold beer on a Friday.I ordered the pork chop for dinner, which was served with greens and grits. Super balanced dish, solid portions, and at $20 or so, the price was right. This is elevated, French-leaning bar food with a strong, focused menu. I'll definitely be back for a date night or just to catch up with a friend.

Great food, new pasta specials every Wednesday, burger special every Thursday, great staff, great atmosphere. We're here once a week or more. Love this place

It's becoming the norm to stop here any time I'm in Raleigh. We've had dinner here twice and today got to try the brunch. It was delicious!Having lived in Belgium I freak out any time I come across a place that prides itself on Belgian influence, and Neuse River Brewing executes it perfectly! The beer is creative and super flavorful, and every food item on the menu is to die for.Today we had the eggs Benedict and the duck hash. Neither disappointed. In the past for dinner we have gotten the mussels every single time as a starter - do NOT skip this! This place is so special. There's indoor seating and outdoor seating with ample heating by the way - perfect for large groups and furry friends.

Great service ! Food was delicious too Great place to have days night or meet up with friends I tried a cider which was very good hubby likes Saturday morning ! You can't go wrong stopping here ! Thank you Judson. Norm and Robert !!!
