Fun little while in the wall. Well actually it's a cute little diner inside a corner store market in a local neighborhood in Bellingham. It has that fun quirky vibe Bham is known for. We decided to come because of the great reviews. We're a little surprised when we arrived at the location but it was worth it. DEFINITELY a "vibe". Service was good, friendly and attentive. Suzy had a great smile and was great at answering our questions and making suggestions. She and the other server tag teamed so you never had an empty coffee cup and if you needed something you didn't have to hint them down. They really anticipated your needs. Something so many servers today are missing. Food was great. My hubby ordered the classic. Ever medium eggs bacon potatoes sourdough toast. His eggs were perfectly done. I ate the corned beef hash with over easy eggs. The homemade raspberry jam was so delicious. We saw a diff customer eating their giant pancakes so we decided to order ONE to share. They were fluffy and you. Could taste hints of vanilla. The fresh fruit was one of the topping options. Serving sizes are plentiful. We took stuff home and the coffee (I'm a snob) was really good drip. If we're in the area again we'll definitely come back.

Great spot for lunch/ dinner with a super cool vibe!We came here for an early dinner and weren't disappointed. The restaurant was clean with a great atmosphere. I got the Nelson's burger with grilled onions and blue cheese, and it was fantastic! The fries that came with it were also perfectly crispy. Service was quick and friendly, and they've got a nice place inside for basic groceries/ snacks. Would definitely recommend.

Brunch! Got the hash and loved it! Mars is dope!Kids got traditional food (pancakes, eggs) as did my sister. Mimosa hit the spot too!

For folks of a certain age (or any age) you would get a total kick out of this place. An old timely/childhood memory corner grocer. However, this place serves up some fantastic grub! Just wish I had one more day to get the breakfast. Great prices, and great food in a great environment is a recipe for a MUST VISIT!! Chatted with Suzie for abit and had a great time/experience. Please stop in and give them your money!! Parking on site but also anywhere in neighborhood is always available. In fact, after you done with a delicious meal, walk around the neighborhood and take in the architecture and people.

Delicious food, no wait and friendly staff. Sides include potatoes or black beans (seasoned well). Loved our weekend breakfast experience.

I don't mind waiting a table for great food on a Saturday morning. I do mind waiting at every step in the process AFTER I've been seated. It took 45 minutes for us to get our food after sitting with no water or coffee for 15 minutes. After eating we waited 20 minutes for our bill...everyone but me left the table and I sat there with my card in my hand for another 20 minutes waiting for someone to bring my check. I almost walked out to be honest as several times I looked around and the staff was hanging out not paying attention to any customers. The ONLY reason I gave a third star is that the Benedict was good. The rest of the food was ok. My advice - hard pass.

Everything about this place is great; the food, the ambiance. The neat setup of the restaurant and the general store is just fun to be around. We came in one late afternoon in the summer, and we were greeted warmly. The food was great, and the service was terrific.

Excellent breakfast and lunch. Very nice small town ambience with the shop right next door. Reminds me a bit of Star's Hollow. The service is perfect; not too friendly but adequate. The only suggestion I have is to get a better brand of hot tea and you will sell more of it.

What a great neighborhood place!Obviously, as you can read from all the other comments, the setting is really cool. It has an old diner and almost ice cream shop vibe! Classic menu items for breakfast and the food was tasty. Our server was kind and funny and made the experience enjoyable.

My husband and I spent a long weekend in Bellingham. We went to Nelson's Market twice, once for dinner then second time for breakfast. Dinner, we ordered French Dip with fries and full club sandwich with chicken soup. The French dip was mediocre, however I would go back for the full club.Breakfast, we ordered the special eggs Benedict with home fries, and waffle with fruit & side of bacon. Wow, the special eggs Benedict was extremely worth the 2 visits. If I were to go back, I would go during the breakfast menu.
