Nautilus Tavern

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding after-party than Nautilus Tavern! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and it was the perfect spot to keep the celebration going after the reception. The staff was fantastic--attentive, friendly, and made sure everyone had a great time. The drinks were top-notch, and the service was quick, even with a large crowd.A special shoutout to our friend Ryan, who absolutely killed it as the DJ! The music was on point, keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed all night. It was the perfect way to cap off an amazing day, and we received so many compliments from our guests about how much fun they had. If you're looking for a great place to host an after-party, Nautilus Tavern is definitely the place to be!

Otis is the Man! We tried to keep him hopping but he is a pro and kept us Stocked! Super fun and great sense of humor too! Food it first rate! Must try the Chips and Guac and the Truffle Fries, as they have just the right amount of Truffle!All the food was beyond good!Ambiance is well... Stellar! Sit outside. I mean you are in San Diego and the weather is always Awesome!! You can see the tv's or people watch because you sit right off the main boulevard! We stopped in here several times during our stay and it was always First Rate! Live entertainment at night too!

OK! Not only was the food so delicious... Like literally everything was so delicious. The service was outstanding. The ambience was so fun and definitely a local place I would go to if I lived there. Young crowd! And while I was in San Diego/La Jolla for three days, this was one of the spots me and my girlfriends attended all 3 days. I wish I would've gotten pictures of food and a few other things but of course we were too busy having fun ! Man/bartender Courtney Lexi and a couple other amazing people help us out and gave us a great experience. If I ever find myself back in the area, they are gonna be wanna hang out with and see!!

My boyfriend and his dad preformed at Nautilus Tavern in the band Gaba Groove the evening before Easter. They were accompanied by Bonfyre which is a Reggie band. This was the first time any of us came to Nautilus Tavern and we would definitely come back again to see other bands perform. The service there was great because the bartender and servers kept refilling our drinks. I ordered a side of fries which tasted pretty good and were pretty filling considering they were a side! Overall was a great experience and I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

What a good spot! Aioli on the burger was so good and the fries were perfect. The service was great and the GM was awesome. The patio seating and nice weather was a good combo and the vibe here was awesome. First stop after a 5 1/2 hour drive from Vegas and def would make the drive again. 10/10

I love the food here. Drinks are great. Ambiance is great. Servers and bartenders are always nice. Only issue is it is a bit overpriced, otherwise I think the place would be packed 24/7.

Here to watch a football game. Attentive service; just had apps and drinks. Friendly DJ keeps things upbeat during timeouts and commercial breaks....made it a fun afternoon!

Went to this place while on vacation in the area. Walked up to podium to be seated no one greeted us. The guys at the bar just stared at me and my family. I asked another family close by if someone seated them they said no they just sat down and eventually someone came to take their order. After this a guy at the bar told my husband to sit anywhere. We sat down and waited for 5 minutes and nobody came to take our order or said one word to us, We ended up getting up and leaving. I think this place is more for people without kids and wanting to drink. Which is fine but put that on your website and yelp. Their website shows a kid menu so I thought in was inclusive for everyone.

If you like sports - this os not the place for you.On a Thursday night, with - count em - 14 people in the entire place, watching the MLB playoffs and score is tied with bases loaded, two outs....This genius "manager" changes the station!!No announcement. No "are you watching this?".I spent MONEY to be here and watch the game. I protest, hey why dod you turn that off wirh no botice or asking?? I get told "more people like football than baseball "There are 13 televisions and three games on.Like I said, "if you like sports, or respect for the customer, this is not the place for you (or me) ."Go to Duck Dive or JRDN or The Local or The Shack or The Spot and get much more respect as a customer.

Had my bday party with about 40 friends on Nautilus' beautiful new back patio last night. Everything was perfect!!! .... from Daniel's initial cooperation, Jess' communications re all the details, our fabulous server, Lexi, who worked so hard and went the extra (20!) miles to give us gracious, efficient, fast and beyond accommodating service. She's a real pro and sweetheart, to boot. She also helped me set up and pair my Spotify dance playlist. Areas of patio were set up for dancing, eating, drinking, socializing, and lounging. The lighting was gorgeous and the heaters kept us comfortable after the sun was gone. Highly recommend this rather hidden gem on La Jolla Bl., just south of Nautilus!!
