Naung Mai Thai Kitchen

We tried three apps- chicken wings, crispy tofu, crispy shrimp. Tried the teriyaki chicken, panang curry w shrimp, pineapple chicken w cashews, sweet and sour chicken. All were flavorful and just right balance. Spice numbering should be adjusted. Go for under 5 number. You have alcoholic beverage choices but the teas and other non- alcoholic choices are amazing.Decent service. Love the service with robot!Ambiance is a bit chaotic but appealing.Parking is tight.Try it you'll like it!!

Today was me and my husband's first time back since the recent remodel. There's so much more space and it's decorated very nicely. The service was excellent, staff checked on us regularly, making sure everything was good. They also have a little robot to help servers with plates, which our daughter (and honestly my husband and I) thought was pretty cool especially for a restaurant on whidbey island. We ordered fresh rolls with prawns and spring rolls (for our little one) and took the waitresses suggestion on the fried chicken wings. The fresh rolls were so good. Prawns were fresh, cooked perfectly and the peanut butter sauce the fresh rolls come with was good. Our daughter loved the spring rolls, I had a bite of one and they were good. Tasted fresh, nice and crispy, not oily and it's came with a yummy sweet and sour sauce that tasted like it was made in house. The fried chicken wings were also delicious. Had good texture and had a nice sweet, tangy sauce. I'm not usually one to like sweet stuff on my wings, but these were gooood. Now on to the main courses... I ordered the beef pho and my husband ordered the beef fried rice. The pho had good authentic pho flavor. Beef was tender and broth was nice. They served the pho with bean sprouts, lime and Thai basil which is a must. My husband enjoyed his beef fried rice, said it was really good. We really enjoyed the food and our overall experience here. Also, we thought the price was great, around $62 for 3 appetizers and two main courses, a Thai iced tea (also sooo good) and Pepsi. The only thing that I would say that may need a little improvement is the spice level accuracy. They have a 0-5 scale and I ordered 3 and my husband ordered a 4. We can handle our spice and it was very mild. Not a big deal though, I asked for sriracha and it did the trick. We will definitely return.

I ordered pad thai to go for lunch. The service was speedy over the phone and they said it would only take 10 minutes and they were right. Kudos to the service. I feel like I may have just ordered wrong. Normally when I try a new thai restaurant, I will order pad thai first. That is what I did and I wish I ordered something different. It was a super red/orangey color which seemed a little off. Normally pad thai isn't this bright of a color. I got it 3 stars and it wasn't that spicy either. Overall, it hit the spot in the moment but I didn't eat my leftovers and wouldn't order this again.

I'm going to start with the service because it was excellent. Our server was very attentive to our requests. The robot that brought the food out was also very polite! lol! My partner had the Pumpkin Curry and it was delicious. He said he would order it again. I was not as lucky... I ordered the Rama with spinach and shrimp. My major complaint was that the peanut sauce was not heated up enough to steam the spinach and the whole dish was just cold. I might have over looked that but the peanut sauce was blah, almost watered down, no flavor at all. So if there is a next time I'll try the Phad Thai. Wish they had served Sake to drink.

I tried many things on his menu, and all of them are good... I have no real complaints. Today I enjoyed the lunch special for 10 bucks. It's pretty hard to beat, but not quite enough food for lunch. Seating for maybe 15-20 people, And they crank out food like it's nobody's business... Kind staff as well which always helps:)

Decided to dine in this evening. The room got a lot bigger!!! So excited to have more seating. The service was quick and expedient as always. I always tell myself I'm going to get something different this time but end up getting the Pad Thai. It was excellent. Thanks again!

Nice place with the standard Thai menu. I recently found out that all Thai place make the same thing as per some Thai government plan years ago to introduce Americans to the cuisine. They have a robot helper that's kind of fun as well.

Their food is good. The menu is a bit limited. They don't serve chicken satay, but have other appetizers.

Delicious food and pick up was ready quickly. Also was allergy friendly. They were willing to make my food gluten free! And I had no reaction.
