It USED TO BE 5 STARS... then I came back because I liked the place, ordered the same "Tandoori Chicken" that I had gotten before, paid the same price, but then they only gave me four pieces of chicken instead of six? Why in the world do you think peoples appetites have all magically changed to where we are being served A THIRD LESS of chicken? They weren't large pieces to begin with either, but now they want to not even serve you the full meal that you pay for? No thank you. The behavior of whoever runs this place is tantamount to stealing from customers.They wanted to change the amount of chicken we got thereby charging us more, so we simply adjusted the cost out of the tip and wrote it on the receipt line so they could see exactly how we added up the cost together and what the tip would have been had they brought us the full amount we had ordered. Maybe the servers will see that the restaurant is making them lose money and respond in kind until management gets its act together.

Food used to be the best but unfortunately the last three times it took a nose dive which is making us believe either the chef has changed or the ownership. Service has also deteriorated by bringing a the wrong order or not knowing the sequence of the food arrival on the table. It never had any ambiance but since the food was good we didn't care. Amir

Service- not that great. He didn't seem happy to be there.Ambiance- nice decorFood - kind of sad they don't have chai even those there online menu said they have itm. Also we ordered this chill potato/ corn appetizers and it looked like fries. When we asked the server..he said this it and there was no Coen. The butter chixken..lamb saag and garlic Naan was good. I also liked the chicken friend rice. I miss the rasmali..cupcakes they used to have and chai.

I enjoyed the vegetarian tali lunch special from here today, which is $15. I got it for takeout, and it had lentils, spinach paneer, papadum, naan, raita, one gulab jamun, and some tomatoes and onions on the side. The rice and naan and paneer were good. Sadly, the raita container wasn't closed well, so it spilled in the bag. And the lentils were pretty spicy so I was bummed I couldn't put raita on top of them! But it was still a tasty meal and a good deal, and I am pleasantly full.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem. Everything was so good. The flavor was something I wasn't expecting with the spice but Babbbby let me tell you, I couldn't stop eating even though my mouth was on fire ordering a spice level of 10 .The service was really good, it has a home feeling .

I lived in the Bay Area for 8 years and sometimes I crave Indian food. Glad that we have the Naturally Desi Cafe in Rancho Bernardo. Super cute restaurant, very modern and clean. Food is delicious and the type of dishes that I like at an Indian restaurant. The down side is the pricing. I find it too expensive for what it is and now I only go when really craving that kind of food. Definitively not fast-food prices even if the restaurant is on the casual side.

When you walk into the restaurant, it's a nice simple strip mall restaurant. Nothing over the top, very clean and pleasant, with a number of tables for the customers and a counter to order your food to go. The service struck me as a 2 person operation. One person in front, and 1, maybe 2 people in the back. So as the food was made, it was delivered to our table quickly, since we were the only people in the restaurant at that particular time. As for the food, it was very tasty. I wish I remembered to take pics of it only because it smelled good, and tasted even better. Next time I will. But we had the Garlic Naan, tasty; the samosas, these were oversized samosas and good, but I don't know if it was worth the price. As I think about it, the samosas were tasty... but perhaps Americanized.. it was lacking some kick to them. The spice palette wasn't fully there. I've had plenty of samosas and used to make my own (years ago), and I can say, they were toned down, perhaps to serve the community. We also had the chicken Tikka Marsala. Heat level was 3 for my GF, but very tasty. Next time I order my own. The only thing that I am not a fan of is charging an exorbitant price for a can of soda. $3 for a can?!? Yes, that's a great money maker, but charging that much will force me to get the food to go instead of visiting and leaving a 20% tip. Overall, we enjoyed it. It was worth visiting and will visit again.

Visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. It was reasonably crowded but we still got a table.The ambiance was very eclectic. They had a good mix of Indian decorations with a modern twist.They had a specials menu, with interesting dishes.They serve unlimited free Indian chai/tea. We were excited to try some and enjoyed the same.My husband got the Nattu Kozhi biryani and he loved it. I requested for a vegetable tikka masala gravy (substituting the paneer). The curry dish was very flavorful and was not oily at all. I also got naan on the side. The naan was soft and fresh. We highly recommend this place for traditional Indian food. They have a good variety of dishes and don't make their food super oily like other restaurants. Archana (the owner) was very attentive and ensured that we had a good experience.

Oh WOW!!!!! I finally went here...and am SO glad. The food is fabulous...really fresh and tasty. I love dal...so got both kinds that they make...both are really yummy. This is a simple unassuming place with great eats... and, oh...terrific mango lassi! I want them to cater my birthday in June.
