Overall, I will not be going here again. Note*I have a seafood allergy, so I was not able to try any of it, but according to other people in my party, the seafood/sushi offerings were plenty and diverse, and for the most part, good. The good: - servers were friendly and attentive- food area and utensils were clean in spite of a relatively busy Saturday lunch crowd- sushi and seafood offerings plenty and diverseThe not-so-good:- food that I wasn't allergic to didn't seem all that fresh. - seasoning not very good....unless I had covid while eating and couldn't taste anything, but I don't that's the case- palmiers dessert seemed stale- mango dessert cup left a waxy coating in my mouth- fried bananas didn't seem fresh- Crème brûlée looked more like scrambled eggs ....although that was one of the few things that were palatable- hibachi/tepan/mongolian station: food was under-seasoned

$18 bucks for a lunch buffet. Pretty legit. Crab legs kept running out because the man next to my table was PILING his plate like we were at Mongolian grill. Food selection was good and fresh. I wasn't brave enough to eat the sushi but it looked fresh! My friend ate it and she didn't get sick. 4/5 for the food quality/ price.

Food was tasty and good quality. Was very surprised that it was a quality seafood buffet for a very reasonable price.

Honestly, Natsumi was going to be a 4-star review as I think they are an above-average asian buffet due to their solid selection of sushi and sashimi.I had a good time. Sadly, half my family after felt sick after eating here. Some folks from out-of-town visited us for Easter and Natsumi was the only food we shared. After comparing notes, we think their oysters were the culprit. ___F O O D___As I said, this restaurant is highlighted by a nice selection of sushi and sashimi. There were close to a dozen rolls to choose from. All seemed of better quality than the typical Asian buffet. The filling/rice ratio was good and the ingredients seemed fresh. They had a good selection of sashimi (salmon, tuna, mackerel, amberjack, scallop, and others) as well as nigiri (octopus, shrimp, squid, etc.). Natsumi had other seafood available such as snow crab, shrimp, crawfish, and oysters. There was also a mongolian bbq station. It was just ok as the selection was limited, but I'm just thankful that they even had this option and I appreciate the employee working the grill.I thought that their hot food section was also just ok. The selection is good, but not as extensive as some other places. I suspect that is because Natsumi makes more of an effort with their sushi and this is the tradeoff. My favorites include the salt & pepper shrimp and salt & pepper crab. The salmon fillet was a bit dry. I wish the salt & pepper wings were a but meatier. Egg rolls were disappointing. The dessert selection is hit or miss. I do appreciate the options. Flan and crème brûlée were good. I'd avoid anything with choux pastry as it was a bit stale. There was also a chocolate fountain which was nice. Ice cream was also available. ___E X T R A I N F O___-Parking was not great on Easter Sunday, even though I arrived prior to opening. There is a Christian church nearby and they share the parking area. -Make reservations online to ensure that they can accommodate your party. -Steak is a dinner option. I do like this place, but I don't know if I'll ever be back thanks to what happened to some family members. Avoid the oysters.

Everything a seafood lover (me) could want out of a buffet. Crab legs (hot and cold), crawfish (also sautéed or cold) and oysters. Large selection of sushi, including rolls, sashimi, and nigiri. Hot food section is what you would expect from a typical Chinese buffet (dim sum). Dessert bar also did not disappoint. There was a chocolate fondue fountain to dip fruit in, crème brûlée, and green tea ice cream. Did not make it to the Mongolian bbq section, will have to come back. We were sat right away at 6:15pm on a Monday night. Service was very attentive with refilling waters and making sure our tables were clean. Definitely coming back, our new favorite seafood buffet in San Diego.

My family loves bonding over food and we sure can eat a lot, so buffets are our go to when we get together. We have been to Natsumi a number of times. It's one of my favorites because of their large sushi and seafood selection. The fish is fresh, the crab legs are always a hit, soups are bomb, and the huge dessert section is on point! There is also a station for made to order Mongolian bbq, steak, and seafood udon soup too. Great selection and prices are not bad at all. I will be back again and again :)

I came here for the crab legs, and they were cold sweet salty and delicious! I believe these were some of the best buffet crab legs I've had and the quality of the crab legs was very good! Some pieces were a bit on the salty side, but I didn't mind it.The rest of the food is your standard Chinese buffet food and pretty good. Some areas of improvement could be the beef in the tepanyaki section came out a bit dry and some of the sushi quality didn't seem like it was quite high. The desserts were all pretty good especially the strawberry cream cheese cup.If you are looking for some dinner crab or a cheap lunch I'd say this is a great spot to visit! The service is just fine and the people are nice - I'd definitely go back when I get in the mood for crab legs. I think their crab legs beat out Seaside's

This place is a mix of a Japanese and Chinese buffet- the value that you get here for $17.50 on a weekday lunch is so good! They have plenty of different options for food (not just seafood, which is great because my roommate is allergic to all seafood). They have sushi, soups, hot Chinese food, a Mongolian grill, dessert bar, and ice cream. I was honestly pleasantly surprised at how the food was considering I came in expecting pretty low quality food.I'd rate the sushi around a 3.7/5, the Chinese food a 4.4/5, the Mongolian a 4.8/5. I recommend the salmon sushi, the chicken wings, pork, the Mongolian noodles, and the ice cream was also soo good! Also their sesame balls were amazing! I'd probably skip on their raw oysters, they were quite rubbery. It was busy on a Wednesday afternoon, but no wait. Service was overall pretty good, they came by to fill our waters and pick up our finished plates frequently.Ambiance is casual and reminds me of a typical Chinese restaurant. Would definitely come back here for a lunch again! However, if the menu is similar for dinner, then I wouldn't say it's worth $30.99 per person.

I heard great reviews of their sushi here. So decided to bring my teens. This place did not disappoint! We came in on Friday for lunch which was $17.50 per person. Their sushi was made fresh with fast turnover. The fish are of good quality for a buffet restaurant. I've had bad experiences at other buffets so I came with really no expectation. There's also a tepenyaki section where u pick your own ingredients and ask someone to cook it for you. There's a salad bar with some cocktail shrimps, clams, crawfish, and other salads. The stir fry didn't disappoint. The black pepper pork was nicely marinated, and the most impressive with with shrimps with vegetables stir fry. It tasted like restaurant quality. You gotta try their wings! Chicken wings were so crispy!!! Dessert was awesome except for the ice cream. I'd skip the ice cream next time. My favorite was the coffee mousse, coffee cake and matcha pudding. Coconut pudding was ok. They rest were too sour. Can't say much about the service. The servers came by to clear the table. The had hand sanitizer everywhere and disposable gloves if you need any.
