OMG! What a nice way to end our tour of the Andrew Jackson Hermitage Tour!! So fun. Now a great wine tasting next door!! It is cool, quiet, and relaxing after our walking tour on the property. Lacie, our wine server, did an amazing job describing the 3 types of wines we tasted!! They were delicious. All from the local Natchez Hill's Winery. We tasted Cabernet Sauvignon red, Ridgetop Red semi-sweet, and Hard Tea Wine. They were all delicious! Then my husband & I had a glass of wine after the tasting. The tasting was only $3 with our tour pass. We really enjoyed it!

Small tasting room located at The Hermitage and is a great way to end a visit and cool down from the sweltering heat/humidity! Depending on what type of ticket you bought at The Hermitage, tastings are either discounted ($3) or free. If you didn't buy a ticket, you can still taste! But for $6, which is full price. The wines are all made by Natchez Hills in Tennesee, although I don't think the grapes are locally grown. They're best known for their Naughty Tea which is a fermented sweet tea with peach notes. It was really good and we ended up buying a couple bottles! They have other tasting rooms in town but this is a must visit if you're visiting or passing by The Hermitage and enjoy wine!

Tasting room has a great vibe with friendly staff with a large selection of wines to enjoy! They are dog friendly too. We booked a wine and cheese pairing prior to arriving and it was amazing!

They had a deal the day my sister in law and I went: 3 wine samples for $3 and we tried all whites. The woman who served us was very friendly! Would highly recommend enjoying a nice glass throughout the grounds.

This is a tasting room/restaurant on the grounds of the Hermitage so it's convenient to the Nashville area. The tastings are free with a tour ticket, about $6 without. We ended up buying a bottle each of their Riesling, Cabernet and Chambourcin (these latter 2 reds seeming to contain much less of tannins than most). The server was very knowledgeable and chatty. Though there are no vineyards, the wines are excellent and we'd definitely return and/or visit their main site.

This winery is inside the visitor center of the Hermitage. We were greeted by a nice woman who did our wine tasting(which is free) and even gave an additional complimentary tasting. We are from Napa county so we are used to the more dry wines but they had good selections! We ended up buying the Riesling. Can't wait to come back next time we're in TN!

Nathan at the counter was the friendliest guy we've met. Talk about true southern hospitality. He answered our questions, gave us some history background and allowed us to stay a little longer past closing for wine slushees. What an amazing guy and company!
