"Giest in Nashville is a must-visit! The house bread and scallops are absolute must-gets--simply outstanding. We also added the whipped feta and a side of broccoli, both of which were perfect additions to the meal. Sitting at the bar, we soaked in the trendy yet comfortable vibe that has an upscale feel without being pretentious. Great food, excellent atmosphere--definitely worth a visit!"
"3.5I didn't get it. The dining room was gorgeous. The plates were expensive. The scene was deliberate. But, I didn't get it. I left feeling like Yolan was expensive for expensive's sake. I entered Yolan with some excitement. I was meeting friends from NYC and LA and I was eager to show off what Nashville was now.* Walking in, the main dining room is is a bit muted (where you might be expecting drama): ceilings that should be higher than they are, nicely-adorned (but not unusual) tables, soothing blues speckled against the walls, comfortable chairs (reminded me of the 70s/more comfortable than fashionable, which was fine by me). The aesthetic is more 'lobby' than 'chic dining room.' With a wall of bottles staring at us, the immediate impression was that the meal would be decadent. It was decent. We were encouraged to share plates but given the size of some portions, sharing was more awkward than enjoyable. Midway into the dining experience, we cut bait and ordered for ourselves. Before falling into the luxury of Italian wine, I began my meal with a seasonal mule and a lamb 'starter.' The mule was pleasant (dominant note was 'ice') and the lamb was tasty (seasoned and succulent, just not much of it). We broke into the wine routine and shared pasta dishes. Again, I could taste the fresh ingredients and house-made everything but scooping a bite between four people does not an enjoyable meal make. I went rogue and chose the trout. Served with radish and micro greens, over a bed of lentils and paired with a (mushroom-based?) sauce, I was very satisfied with my plate. By this time, my size expectations had been measured so I concentrated on the smell, taste, visual appeal, and texture of my meal rather than if it would sate my hunger. We finished the meal with a bite of a chocolate truffle. Throughout the meal, we had adequate service. There were a couple of hiccups but they were quickly corrected. To borrow parlance from the kids, I kept waiting for the beat to drop. The meal was... fine. But the price point was not fine. It was 'fine dining.' Do you get the picture? I am not some garish American, demanding Golden Corral amounts of food for McDonalds prices. I have eaten around the world and in all sorts of settings (high and low). This was... fine. Thing is, your wallet will remember the meal long after your palate has forgotten it.*'Now' being late Autumn a few years ago. The gild is off the lily."

Jalapeño Cheddar Corn Bread (must have) Short Rib (this was yummy and super tender) old fashioned (perfectly balanced)scallops (this was good) crab cake (not a fan - smaller crab bits rather than lump crab). Best ones are at Eddie V's. Service was great. Quick and attentive. They offer complimentary valet (with validation at the host's desk) and also there's cashless tip option but there is a fee of $1.65 to use it. So maybe bring cash."
"This sing-songwriter cafe has history. Not only featured in the show Nashville but also the place where some famous musicians were discovered. To get it out of the way...the food is pretty terrible. Absolutely nothing exciting to look forward but you need to spend at least $10 as part of your ticket to help support the restaurant and singers. I'd recommend eating beforehand and then spending your money on drinks or dessert here. We were fortunate to get tickets during the TinPan singer-songwriter festival. Had 4 artists play in the round in the most intimate setting with everyone gathered around and listening to those artist and their guitars. An amazing experience that was one of the Nashville highlights! If you're looking to get tickets, know that they go within the first minutes of going online so best set an alarm and get ready to stress click your way through the website!"
"Wow -- gorgeous space, terrific service, and great cuisine and drinks. Totally a good idea! (Yeah, yeah, punny...)The space reminds me a lot of No Goodbyes, the restaurant inside The Line hotel in DC; you can tell it's a converted former church, but it's airy and warm, with a vibe all its own. As another reviewer mentioned, the acoustics are solid -- neither booming nor library-quiet. You can tell a lot of thought went into the layout, furniture, tableware, all the details. Kudos to the designers. Service was top-notch. Great explanation of a menu that may seem intimidating to some. Always watchful and observant to re-fill glasses, clear plates, etc, even with a fairly busy section. Lots of hustle in the crew -- including the staff who have to bring food upstairs to the balcony from the kitchen! Food and drinks were divine. Three small plates and the shareable bass for two was perfect, in terms of amount. My favorite of the small plates was the croquettes; my husband really loved the caviar "French toast"-style dish and the scallop crepe. All were totally different from anything else you'll find in Nashville -- this is a place to take adventurous eaters to "wow" them. The drink menu is impressive. I loved the long list of wines by the glass. My husband liked the varieties of bourbon on offer at very reasonable prices."
"Always a good time at Barcelona! We love both the patio and the bar area vibes. The menu has seasonal changes and classic favorites, so it's both fresh and consistent. Our server Rachel was a breath of fresh air - providing suggestions that were spot on and making our night with kindness. The whipped sheep's cheese and skirt steak is a must order. The vegetable paella is great to share- order first! And so many fun beverage options. The management usually stops by to check on us. Nate let us know more about the restaurant and was helpful and charming. If you need a good girls night out or date spot- Barcelona has all the fun of downtown Nashville without the hassles. Plus- complimentary valet parking!!"
"Great drinks along with a dog friendly patio. There's plenty of seating outside too; some high tops, and some lounge seating for larger groups. We had dinner plans so we didn't eat here and just got drinks. The flatbreads looked really good though, I was tempted to get the dill pickle one. For drinks, I got the frozen white sangria and really enjoyed it, it was refreshing and not too sweet. My fiancé got the woke af and another drink that I forgot the name of but both were good as well. Definitely a great spot to grab drinks with group or for a date night!"
"We had never been to Firebirds before so we didn't know what to expect. So I decided to take my wife to Firebirds. Parking:The parking was absolutely horrible I wish there were dedicated spots specifically for this restaurant because it's connected with other business, BUT I have to be clear even though the parking sucked this does not take away the experience we had nor does it take away the five stars I'm giving it. Atmosphere When you walk in the lights were deemed which I absolutely loved. This gives off the ultimate Valentines Day Experience in my opinion. You could also smell the many different flavors of food they were preparing so my eye were wide open excited ready to look at the menu and taste one of the many different flavors I was smelling. Customer Service The customer service was absolutely amazing. Everyone was very friendly. FoodThe food I ordered was the Tomahawk Porkchop with fries. This food was absolutely amazing. At first the got my chop at medium well but they quickly resolved it by giving me another one. They apologized about it. I informed them that it wasn't a big deal because I understood they were extremely busy. This wasn't an issue to me because they resolved it and very friendly. Once I got my food though everything was great. The food was the exact flavor I was smelling. The food was good. The customer service was good. It was a win win a minus the parking. Total for my chop and fries were28.99 before taxes. We will be back!"
"It's an experience! We had our 10th wedding anniversary dinner here. It's a set seasonal menu, we are vegetarians so they modified their dishes accordingly. Cocktails are average. Starters were amazing (Focaccia and lemon risotto cake were amazing). It's a whole 3 h experience, and multiple rounds of food keeps coming. Dessert is cannoli which is average and Zeppole. It's also unique in that the whole restaurant starts dancing in the middle of the dinner. And the chef's concept is dinner as a big family like Italian families. Overall really nice experience."
"Wow. What an amazing place and hidden gem in the burbs. They have enomatic wine tasting machines and bourbons on tap too! The service is top notch and the music and snacks are good too. So glad I popped in. This will be my neighborhood go-to place!"

I always have a "but" in my reviews except for tonight. I've lived in Nashville for 20 years and this is likely the best meal I have had in this city. We started with the focaccia with the whipped ricotta and fermented garlic honey. We had the Buccatini Amatriciana that was just excellent final course was a shredded lamb that had a crust in the meat with wild mushrooms parsley and ricotta scorza nera and my wife had the roasted turnips. This is a must try in Nashville.

This was my first time going to Evelyns. We ordered the truffle fries to share. I had to the scallops and my friends both ordered the lobster Mac n cheese and short rib. Every drink we got was amazing and the bar was super cute too, I would definitely recommend sitting at the bar for a drink if you are rushed on time. The lobster Mac n cheese was creamy, but to me it lacked flavor. The lobster was worth the add on. The scallops were good with a southern twist. I would order them again. Evelyns is cute inside, service was nice, food was good not great, drinks were amazing.

Bad Idea is a delightful restaurant in East Nashville that offers Laotian fusion cuisine in a beautifully renovated church. There's plenty of parking in the back, though most spots are for compact cars. Street parking is also available. The interior is well-decorated, making great use of the space. The staff were very nice and attentive. Here's what we ordered:- **Scallop Crepe**: The texture wasn't my favorite, as it was a bit like springy tofu.- **Crispy Rice**: This dish was full of aromatics, which I thoroughly enjoyed.- **Blue Prawns**: There were three prawns, split in half, lightly cooked, and dressed with an orange-colored aioli.- **Catfish**: Served with sticky rice, the two fillets were wrapped with an herb mixture and accompanied by a green dipping sauce. It was a bit too bland for my taste, possibly meant to highlight the natural sweetness and delicate flavors of the fish. One thing I found a bit strange was that, for a Laotian fusion place, they didn't offer fish sauce or any other salty dipping sauces.Overall, we'd give it another shot.

Trendy tapas restaurant with a modern interior and more laid pack outdoor patio. I love the small bites tapas offers and this spot did not dissapoint! Service was great from start to finish and our waitress was super patient and kind in explaining things. We ordered:Patatas bravasGambasPaella (seafood)SteakAsparagas saladBurrata Apertivo board CroquetasHonestly, everything was super tasty although I could have done without the steak (overcooked), burrata, and asparagus salad and tried something else. My favorites where the patatas bravas, seafood paella, gambas, and croquetas. A solid spot to go to dinner with friends, date night, or even solo dine at the massive bar. I want to try the happy hour and breakfast/brunch menu next!

A vibe always! Love this little spot. Most of the time you have to flag down a waiter or waitress but once you have their attention you are good to go! They have food trucks that pull up but the house food is solid too! Good little pre dinner spot or late night spot .
Visit Restaurant Page"I'm so lucky that I live close to this fantastic restaurant! I've only been here twice, as it's a bit pricey, but so worth it. Let's talk menu items: I was here recently and shared the gazpacho. Fresh. Creamy. Fantastic. On this same visit my date had the duck breast, which I tried, and was great. That said, I think I win because I ordered the lobster ravioli (sans egg, I don't eat egg) and it was summer camp write home to mom and dad worthy. Like wow! The sweet chili, the curry flavors, the creaminess, I don't know how to adequately describe to you, aside from telling you that you need to eat and experience this dish for yourself.Staff is masked up and safe. Patrons are perfectly separated for safety. Great location with a huge parking lot. Phenomenal wine and cocktail list if that's your thing.I will be back whether I live close or not. This place is good. Please experience it for yourself!"
"Ooooh I love this little unassuming bar on Gallatin. Our good friend is a regular here, and I'm so glad to be in the know on this hidden gem. While Martha My Dear has some elements of a dive bar (moody lighting, vintage decor), it's actually quite clean and very inviting. The red booths are comfy, and the ambiance is just right - not too loud that you can't hear your friends speak, but not too quiet that you're listening to the conversation at the table next to you. Although they were busy on a Friday night, it wasn't packed to the brim like many of the other bars in East Nashville on weekends. We were able to get our drinks quickly, and the bartenders were very friendly! I ordered the Tipsy Jitters, which is their version of a White Russian. Our bartender recommended swapping the vodka for rum sometime, which I'll definitely do on my next visit. Martha also has a nice beer and wine selection, and their happy hour deals are great too. ($10 craft cocktails in East Nashville every day? Say less.)"
"This is a nice restaurant, the staff were friendly and it was clean. I absolutely loved my drinks and the lamb skewers. I recommend and will return when I come again."
"This restaurant was such a nice surprise. I had the seasonal pasta, Mexican Street Corn pasta, and those flavors were legit! We got a giant booth and sunk in to enjoy it all. The artichoke dip was running and not flavorful. Our waitress was kind, welcoming, and accommodating. We wrapped up the evening with two desserts: chocolate cake and lemon cake. The lemon cake was all sorts of yum, but the chocolate cake was underwhelming."
"This is a five star experience, but some of the dishes needed to be elevated. The staff especially Wayne (once he got warmed up) were great. I would suggest two things: One do not be in a hurry when going here- be ready for the experience. Two try to preview the menu before you come. There is a lot here from food and drinks so it can be a bit overwhelming.Bread is on the house it is good- nothing spectacular. We started with the Tuna / Edamame and the Button Mushrooms with Wagu Beef. I had a 2oz of the Chardonnay with apps. The tuna was good the sauce was a nice touch.TBE mushrooms were good, but it needed a sauce or something to take it up a notch. My Brie salad was very tasty, the cherry dressing along with all the other contents was great. I feel like the apples could have been bigger bc they were all in the bottom. On to the main course, I will say we were there during the Wednesday night Wine tasting. I do feel like that is why the entrees came cold. We did not mention it bc it was a long wait time and they forgot the salads, so we had those after. (They did not charge us for the salads bc of the mix up.)The Chicken Marsala was good. The cream spinach was delicious lots of levels of flavor. The Mahi Mahi was super fishy and the sauce with craisins had potential, but is was very watery. The carrots would have been excellent if they were warms. I had a 4oz Moscato with dinner. Now the desserts. If you only wanted to go for desserts and wine that would be an excellent experience! The chocolate torte was delicious not super heavy, but packed with flavor. The crème brûlée was equally excellent! The Japanese Drink that Wayne recommended was a great paring. Overall tons of fun and I will definitely go back."
"Great happy hour! Loved the ambience! Appetizers were pretty good besides the spinach dip (mediocre)! Wine was from all of the world.Great collection. Great location as well.Plenty of street parking!"
"Five stars for Lou! A small & quaint restaurant in an older style Nashville house. When the general manager from another notable restaurant (R&D) in Nashville sends you here to eat, you know it has to be good! I love it how the restaurant industry supports each other and contributes to others' success! We had 3 appetizers:bread & butter - typical toasted bread served with whipped butter and flake salt. Grade: Bassorted pickled & fermented vegetables - what a fun dish. Simple pickled assortment of 3 veggies. Contrasts the other dishes on the table. Grade: Bzamorano; raw sheep's milk, pickled mustard seeds. This cheese was perhaps one of the highlights of the meal. Spanish version of the manchengo cheese with slight hint of honey. Grade: AWe ordered 3 main dishes: crispy rice, egg yolk*, pickled currants, mixed seeds, dukkah, lemon Add kale or n'duja at an additional charge for each. Beautifully crafted dish. Similar to the Persian crispy rice dish with a chorizo kind of meat. Grade: A-peruvian lima beans, tomatoes, whipped ricotta, lemon basil, tomato oil. Delicious & comforting dish. Simple clean flavors. Easily another favorite at the table. Grade: Abear creek farms pork loin & kale, dumplings, broth, preserved lemon. A comforting dish. This dish was similar to the Filipino Pork Adobo dish with kale. Grade: B+ We ordered one dessert: chocolate mousse, cherries, vanilla olive oil. Absolutely delicious and fun to eat. The mousse was on the thicker side, which gave it a tooth bite to it. It was rich, but not too sweet! I was a fan! Grade: A-Service was amazing. Our server Margaret was super knowledgeable & welcoming. She surely knew how to provide great customer service. Overall Grade: A-"
"Great, tiny little bar. Seats maybe 12 people. LOVE how the menu is laid out by flavor profile. Tons of cocktail options, including frozen drinks. A few beer options. Great place if in the area for a meal. Pro tip: you can have your food delivered here from the other places while you sit in the AC and drink your cocktail."
"I came here with some friends on a Saturday night. We walked in without a reservation. The only available table was outside. It was a bit chilly too. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco. After a little while the waiter offered us to sit inside because the customers didn't show that had a reservation. The views were incredible and the service was amazing too! If you're from S Florida it's pretty much like this : Sugar rooftop (East hotel in Brickell) meets a classy southern vibe with lower priced menu options and a similar high floor outdoor dining experience with upscale city views."
"I wasn't sure if it would be hard to get into this place so I showed up right after opening at 4:00. No problem getting 2 seats at the bar. The wine flight was good, and heavy pours for $15 for 3 wines. The trout dip was yummy and had the perfect amount of bread with it. The spicy rigatoni 10/10, it was so flavorful. The short rib gnocchi was my second favorite, the flavors together were incredible. The black fettucine was a 2/10. The sauce on it was just not it, it splashed everywhere, the lobster pieces on it were rubbery, and the flavor was like leather. I would not order that dish again and I'm glad I only had a half order. I will be back to try more things because it was very good! Service was quick as well. Perfect for a date night or with a group of friends."
"Great Stuff! We went to the soft opening, and I will tell you that it was packed and a lot of people enjoying their time. The owner, Daniel, did a great job welcoming people in, the new staff did a great job working the Point-of-Sale system even when we moved around seats from inside to outside, the staff was friendly, the Charcuterie Boards were excellent, the wine choices weren't too bad but wished they offered a few more choices "by the glass" and not necessarily by the bottle for the higher end choices. Overall a great night. I hope to try some more food items and wine, bourbon, mixed drink selections. The only suggestion I have is to make a little pathway, rock with steps if not sidewalk, etc. from the driveway on the other side. Someone walking in heals, wet grass, etc. can get a little yucky to the front door if you didn't come from the other side. Other than that, what a intimate set up to have a good "Reunion", enjoying friends, etc."
"I love this new neighborhood establishment. It has a lot of character, a massive back patio, and it is located in a cute old house turned into a restaurant. The house was previously a restaurant prior to them moving in, but it has been maximized in the best way possible. My hair stylist, Emaline, is a bartender here. She works at BBC Salon in the day and here by night. She is a great bartender and is able to multitask really well. I had no idea she was such a great bartender. Girl has an art with hair and drinks. That was apparent while maintaining the bar, but also serving up drinks for the waiter who was focused on the patio patrons. We saw Kevin, the owner, come out a couple of times as well. He was manning the kitchen.Kevin is one who has a lot of accolades behind him. He has been on the Travel Channel, Food Network, has a couple of cook books out, and is a well renowned chef. Granted, I did not know any of this prior to meeting him tonight. I feel like I should have being that he is a kind of a big deal in the food world. He was nice. What I think you will like about this place:- No price gauging. What you see is what you get. All glasses will range from $6 to $15 a glass. House wines taste good! Cocktails are $10-13.- Knowledgable staff. Everyone knows what they are doing here plus they offer warm hospitable personalities. - They have a good variety on the food menu. Now, as of this review, they have been open for six days. Things are working out well thus far, but tweaking is bound to happen as they learn the ins and outs of what does and does not work. I tried the truffle fries and enjoyed them. I will need to come here for a proper dinner. They have some decent offerings and the patrons next to me were enjoying their meals. - Easy to park. Park on the side street or on the front of the building. No qualms about finding anything, but a Thursday night out is different than a weekend. Use your best judgment.- Your neighborhood bar. This place is not trying to be something its not. They are focused on the neighborhood feel more than trying to be some hip place that draw in the tourists. Though tourists might find their way here and are welcomed, the focus is on the neighborhood it is surrounded by. East Nashville. In conclusion, I really hope to see this place thrive. I think they have something to offer and I look forward to see them grow into their own."
"Recently moved to the East side of the city and have been in search of a chill wine bar, and then boom, we spotted The Authentique (Thanks Yelp!) The Authentique is a French inspired wine bar that sits in a non-descript strip mall on Gallatin Avenue not far from Tailgate Brewery, Kroger and Publix. While the exterior is pretty unassuming and to be honest, "meh", the moment you walk in the door you pick up the vibe of quaint wine bar. From the ornate ceiling tiles, to the dark walls with artwork in oversized frames to the decorative lighting, this place certainly knows who they are. While everything above sounds grandiose, this spot is quite small...they just have a lot packed into this small space! This is the perfect spot for a small meet up, date night or even a pre/post dinner night cap...but anything beyond a group of 4 is going to be tough here. The bar seats around 10, then there are 3 hightops and 4 to 5 standard tables ranging in 2 to 4 tops. For the best enjoyment for you and everyone else, I would say this is not the spot for a large group or party. Now down to the goods! We had a few glasses of wine that were recommended to us by the owner, and we paired it with the charcuterie board. The wine was excellent, a great recommendation and great sip. The charcuterie board was standard, nothing exciting, but definitely nothing terrible. It paired well with our wine. Both came at a premium cost, which was not surprising, but slightly surprising. Two glasses of wine and a charcuterie board ran us around $60. Overall, The Authentique is a great find and a place that we will certainly swing back through when the vibe beckons! Outside of the cost above, my only other issue is that on the night we went, it was blazing hot inside. Not sure if that is a temperature regulation thing for the wine, but it was pretty unpleasant, which is why we only stayed for one glass."
"We came here for the Beetlejuice pop up Speakeasy. It's going for September to 31 October 2024. Perfect timing for the new Beetlejuice movie! There was about a 30 minute wait, which wasn't bad because we had time to sit at the bar at the Makeready and try a couple of their craft cocktails. The Beetlejuice pop up was everything I'd hoped it would be!! The drinks are outrageously expensive, but it is all for the experience. Warning, don't steel their tiki glasses or you will get charged $100. Apparently everyone was stealing their glasses. The scenery was like something straight from the other side!"
"I have been so excited to try this spot. They did a magnificent job with the space and the decor. It is very classy. Currently (spring 2024) Wednesday is half off house wines. We selected the Cava, it was very good and you can't beat the price! We had the smaller board, which was enough for 2 of us to nibble on and everything on it was very good. FYI for my gluten free friends, they have GF crackers, just ask. Give this spot a try, I sure hope people turn out for it, it is lovely!"
"Run, don't walk, Nashville finally has an incredible wine bar that hits perfectly across vibe/ambiance/quality of wine/food/price point/amazing service!!Hidden in the far right of the new Eastwood Village complex is a tiny but mighty wine bar with amazing snacks galore. I came on a Sunday afternoon at what they described as their slowest time since opening (but with still a steady stream of individuals and groups coming in for bread to go or to stay for a glass and a bite). It was easy to grab a seat at the bar, but I imagine on weekends there's a line situation as there are no reservations here. The menu is intensely seasonal and casual - specials are written in the glass mirror behind the bar (rotating options for cheese, charcuterie, tinned fish, and oysters; a selection of "favorite" wines by the glass currently available & sorted by type.) I couldn't come here for a heavy meal but you can easily fill up a balanced plate with the different snack options. The crudite with tofu green goddess dressing is honestly one of the most unique and perfect dishes I've had in Nashville in ages. The tofu adds a whole other dreamy creaminess to it, the herb balance is just perfect, they don't skimp on the fancy vegetables (including cucamelon, endive, and purple carrots) and the fact the vegetables come dressed in evoo and salt really takes the flavor unexpectedly next level. My one small gripe is I needed more dip - not a terrible problem to have and they brought me more upon request. The deviled eggs in a tuille skirt are also not to be missed and the warm bread (get the konbu!!) with butter is simple but so perfect. I was thankful they had a light dessert like Eton mess because I wanted a sweet end but was pretty full from my many snacks. This is girl dinner vibes but make it all taste decadent. The cheese were good but not standout to me and my biggest regrets weee not having enough room to try the mussels or tinned fish, because they looked amazing. Beautiful, dog-friendly grassy area outside available with tables so when the weather gets a bit cooler, can see this being a popular outdoor hang (a good thing because the inside is small - most ideal for groups smaller than 4.) Really thoughtful service that walks you through the wines. Absolute slam dunk of an opening and I'm so thankful to finally have an excellent wine bar in Nashville!"
"In our quest to taste every slice in Nashville, we happened upon Frankie's when the pizza craving struck. Upon arrival, we initially walked into Frankie's 925, which was a beautiful space with wonderful service and a tasty menu, however we were after pizza which the menu excluded, so we ended up popping next door and ordering a few slices and salads. While Frankie's is a walk-up/counter based spot, they do have a few tables inside, but the patio is where it is at. They have string lights set up, a water station and several tables. While outside was cool, they could use some music or something out there. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the pizza! We grabbed a variety of slices including the classic pepperoni, the contentious ham and pineapple, and my favorite, a pepperoni Sicilian slice. And let's not forget about the Caesar salads - while premade, they were surprisingly delicious, and the dressing was undoubtedly the highlight. I will say $14 is a bit much, but not gonna lie, I will order it again. While the pies were phenomenal, what truly sets Frankie's apart is their exceptional service. Despite arriving within an hour of closing, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we left with full bellies. When we went back in to order a slice to go, they tossed a few extra slices in the box, which was pretty cool!Overall, Frankie's Pizza is a gem of a spot that combines delectable food, inviting ambiance, and top-notch service. Whether you're a pizza aficionado or simply craving a solid slice, Frankie's has you covered. Highly recommended!"
"Great spot! I love how they had a wine tasting as soon as I walked in, I got to samples one white and one red. It was pretty quiet when I came in, which is fine by me! I loved their menu and now they give wine pairing suggestions with the foods. The bartender was super nice! I went with the Zinfandel with the duck tacos. The tacos were okay - a little dry to me, but I added some sauce and that did the trick! The Zinfandel was okay, little jammy for my liking! I switched to the Riesling and that worked better for me. Nice ambiance - a lot of people were there because it's connected to a convention center - looks like they get some amazing acts! I had a very pleasant dinner!"
