"I've loved everything I've tried here! I was introduced in the Midtown Foods celebration where a lot of vendors had samples so I had an egg roll, basil fried rice, and Thai tea - everything was awesome. I ordered drunken noodles, summer rolls, and more Thai tea last night and the noodles were perfect. The summer rolls didn't have a ton of flavor but that's not their fault, they're literally a bunch of plain veggies. The Thai tea was perfect - could drink this all the time. I ordered pick up and it was ready so quickly!"
"Love this place the food, service and atmosphere can't be matched by anyone in the area. Would highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area."

Visit Restaurant Page"We enjoyed our first dine-in visit to Tipsy Thai. Server said they've been open almost two years, and they highly rely on food delivery by Uber Eats, DoorDash, and GrubHub.We chose Summer Rolls with dipping sauce (don't miss), Tofu Pad Thai, Beef Pad Thai, side salads with ginger dressing, and Thai Fried Rice with Chicken. Tasty and fresh, and appetizing presentation. Choice of hotness. We'd order again. Styrofoam containers offered for take-home food left over.Tip: Bottled Beer Happy Hour, every day. Small outdoor seating area. Good for groups. Private parking lot. Variety of Thai drinks.Online ordering via ToastTab. Facebook page with menu. No website that I could find.Small Gripe: no draught brewskies. While the décor is plain, service is warm and friendly, and promptly served. We will return soon."
"Food and service were both excellent. The inside is pretty small but we were seated in a booth right away. I also must mention that it smelled AMAZING inside. I couldn't decide what to get since everything sounded so good. Our waitress, May, helped me decide on the pineapple curry. It was a little more spicy than I expected but it still tasted good! I also tried some of my friend's pad thai was so very good. The team at Rice Box was very friendly and attentive at refilling our drinks and getting our orders in. It is also right next to a Kroger in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking."
"Years ago, my wife worked in an office that was practically across the street and she raved about it often. I don't get down to that part of town often, so it was only recently that I got to try it. I really liked it! Here is my opinion on the food, service and ambiance.Menu offerings were typical of what I have seen in Asian restaurants. One item in particular caught my eye - "Jungle Curry". I went for it. I'm glad it did. Separating it from other curry dishes is that it is made without coconut, and that was a nice flavor profile.Service was super attentive, maybe too much so. He appeared often and wanted to make sure I was enjoying myself, which I was. The check was handled efficiently and accurately.Ambiance is bright, light and airy. In particular, I enjoyed my seat near a window for extra light.Foot traffic and table occupation were both ample, but not distracting"
"Shame on me for allowing four years to pass since my last visit to SaBaiDee Café. Saw their post on FB of "It's just me & my mom in the kitchen" and had to go visit. When I walked in the place was humming and the ladies were running a marathon taking care of a packed house. I was seated at the only table left and KK got me a water and Beer Lao while I looked over the menu. Decided on the Spring Roll with shrimp and peanut sauce and the dish Khao Mun Gai. The Spring Rolls are huge, taste garden fresh, and the peanut sauce combined with the roll...perfect! I thought the dish was one roll...you get TWO for $6...darn near a meal all in themselves and I made both disappear! The Khao Mun Gai was a new dish to me and I'm glad I listened to suggestion and gave it a shot. The slices of poached chicken were so tender and when dipped in the ginger chili sauce...POW! Yes...the ginger chili sauce has some spicy, but you control how much so you can either taste the zing or sweat through each bite. The sauce reminds me of an Indian tomato sauce I've had before, interesting how cultures can merge or cross. The different parts of this dish all add to the flavors, but the jasmine sticky rice is so good and the cucumbers help cool the zing. The broth is unusual, chicken based, but the inclusion of the halved cherry tomato and onions changes the flavor into a very satisfying consommé. This meal was fantastic and the service from all four of the ladies was very appreciated. It won't be four years till my next visit here!"
"Sumo sushi has a great ambiance. It is bright and colorful. The decoration is very welcoming and spacious. The place super clean and plenty of tables. I love the parking in the back and the price is really reasonable. The staff is nice and courteous as well."
"I'm so lucky that I live walking distance to Bluefin, because it's one of my absolute favorite sushi spots in the Nashville area. Their menu is pretty extensive, especially for an indecisive gal like me, but they truly have so many great rolls. My go to is the crab cake roll, but I can't even narrow it down to the top 5, so many delicious options. Are they on the expensive side? Yes. But you get what you pay for, and the quality is there. Highly recommended!"
"Our gang of four enjoyed our Thai and Japanese lunch. Friendly, attentive service. Family restaurant. We ordered both Thai and Japanese entrees including Pad Thai with Rice Noodles and Tofu, and Shrimp Tempura Bento Box. Some entrees come with soup, salad, or soup and salad. Would order again. Also ordered the Miso Soup and House Salad with Ginger Dressing. Appetizing presentation. Some selection of draught beers. We asked that they raise the heat after we arrived soon after opening, and they did. By noon on a Tuesday, the restaurant was full.Open daily, lunch and dinner. A lunch special menu offered, Mon-Fri.Simple decor. Located in a nondescript strip mall adjacent to Mt Juliet Wine & Spirits. Private parking lot. Small Gripe: No beer list, no wine list, no drink list, and no price list."
"Just wanted to add photos of my recent order. I stepped out of my comfort zone and ordered something I've never had! I ordered Pad Kee Mao and it was different but so good! It did need a little salt but once I added salt it couldn't be more perfect. Just a comforting dish of stir fried noodles and veggies! I got Thai hot but thankfully they gave me a few little sides of spicy so I can make it spicier. I love super super spicy tho. And I ordered the sticky rice in Banana leaf which I think had red beans in it and some sort of yummy filling, it was truly delicious! And I ordered the coconut custard which as always delicious. It's super light and subtle in flavor, slightly sweet. Literally love this place. And the customer service is so great, they are super friendly!! The authenticity here will always bring me back!"

I'm going to address the star off first then I'm going to gush about a particular dish. The one star off is only because the noodles were pretty dry, but we had takeout so it may not be a kitchen thing but rather a timing thing. The food was still delicious, just a touch dry. Ok that's out of the way. Wtf is going on with those egg rolls?! Like... we ordered them, they look just like spring rolls. We're a little confused. We taste them and... wtf. It was like the best egg roll you've ever had fell in love with a spring roll and had a baby... and the baby is delicious. I know this is already too much about the egg rolls but seriously... I've never had anything like it. Truly so so so good.

I love this place! I wish I could try everything. Food: I had the beef pho, and beef Larb. This was tons of food, but the flavor was incredible. Beef Larb was outstanding. Both were good. They also give you an option of steamed or sticky rice. Tons of food lol. Ambiance: This is a cute little bitty place, outside is older, but the inside is very clean and well kept. She did a great job with the decor Service: the owner was their server here, and she was amazing. Super sweet, great food recommendations. I would be back just for her if nothing else, but the amazing food helps. Give this place a shot!

Great little Thai place tucked away in a strip mall setting! My husband needed to drop off his truck at a mechanic and we wanted to eat somewhere nearby. I looked up this restaurant on Yelp and it got excellent reviews - and I can see why. It's called Tipsy Thai because they also feature a lot of drinks!!The server was extremely helpful and patient since it was our first time there. He said he everything is made to order, so you can customize your dish however you wish! Love that!I ordered the basil fried rice and my husband got the drunken noodles - both with tofu. We ordered the spice at level one - which was spot on!Food was very good. Service was excellent. Restaurant was clean.

This is my comfort Chinese restaurant. I used to go for lunch when I worked near by now I get it delivered for dinner. I love their wonton soup and their sweet and sour chicken. Best part about the chicken is the sauce is on the side so the chicken doesn't get soggy. The wonton soup is like the one I grew up on. It's pork only no shrimp. I've only ever had good meals and service here. Is it high need, no, is it super authentic, probably not. Is it comfort food for me yes. When I'm sick I want their wonton soup.

This sushi and thai spot is in a strip mall and isn't really somewhere I'd go on a date night. It's more family friendly, relaxed/casual ambiance. Don't let the ambiance fool you though. The sushi is very fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered 2 sakis, 2 soporos, 3 rolls and edamame. Everything tasted great and relatively inexpensive. I'd definitely come back.

The food here is legit. The restaurant is clean and open. It feels casual but new. I have been to many of the Thai and Laotian restaurants in the greater Nashville area and this one stands it ground toward the top. The ingredients, style, and flavors are unique and of quality. The service was good as well. I enjoyed my hot and sour soup and red curry greatly. I look forward to trying more menu items.
Visit Restaurant Page"Eh. Had high hopes, but nope. Not a fan. I'll continue to look for a great Mandarin & Cantonese food."
"Top-quality Asian food. Everything made with fresh ingredients. Some of the best dumplings we ever had. The pho broth was rich and flavorful. Top notch. Most customers do takeout or delivery, however there is a small dining area that is very basic. Try the hot chili pepper sauce."
"I checked out Aiyara one Friday for dinner - one, because they serve Thai and Sushi, and two, because I saw on Facebook that this group was going to be performing live. What better combo than some of my favorite type of food and free music?! Not to mention it ended up being very close to home. The group is called the Kenny Sharp Trio - nice guys. I decided to eat at the bar, and the bartender was just as new in town as I am. She was ok. The other server was also friendly.Aiyara Thai & Sushi Restaurant is located off 8th Ave right next to this popular bar called MLRose that the couple I met at the bar recommended, but they didn't have live music over there. They have a very wide array of food options on the menu! Whether you feel like Thai noodles, curry, fried rice, or sushi or pho, it's all in there! It just depends on what you're in the mood for. I had Thai - pad sew eww with chicken - (one of my favorite go to Thai dishes) and it was a pretty decent sized serving. Brought out hot and fresh. The only thing I would've changed about my dish was having them hold the green onions / scallions. Those are sprinkled all across the top, which is new to me, and I have pad sew ewe a few times a year. Just not a fan of scallions like that. Otherwise the taste was fine. The restaurant itself is pretty spacious and family friendly. Parking is available in a halfway garage within walking distance or on the street. The ambiance & decor was interesting but in either case you can try it out. I'd go back to see how the sushi & pho are."
"I've been here multiple times since I found this place. I absolutely fell in love with their fried tofu appetizer which honestly could be a meal on its own. It's really difficult to find a place that makes fried tofu well but this place reminds me of home. I always ask for the teriyaki sauce on the side because it can be overpowering so I don't use a ton of it. Their sizzling beef is also another favorite dish of mine! The beef is super tender and comes with a pile of onions and bell peppers which is so delicious! The service is always great and I have never had any issues with getting my food. I definitely recommend checking this place out!"
"Stopped in after going paintballing and needing some serious calories replenished! This place was delicious and the service was great. The ambiance is on point and very tranquil and comfortable. We ordered garlic edamame, Dirty old man roll, Angry tuna roll, First love roll, Orange blossom roll, Triple Crown roll, and the Baked Alaska. They were all delicious!!"
"This place ranks in my top one or two for Thai food in the Boro and the whole of Middle Tennessee and that is saying a lot! The Lao papaya salad with anchovies instead of crab was phenomenal, the Beef in the beef salad was so tender and tasty and the flavor was amazing. The Broth for the pho some of the best I've ever had...such good flavor...This place really surprised me! I thought it would be just ok since it was a sushi/Thai fusion place, but it was late and I felt like some Asian food and saw some good reviews so Decide to try it with my cousin Sunthy who is Lao, and he thought it ranked up there with Pad Thai Cafe"
"Was looking forward to trying this place, but sad to say the food was no big shakes. The ambiance is nice and place is inviting, but the food was a let down. We had the orange chicken and it was dry and did not have much flavor, I had to pour some sweet and sour sauce to remove the chickeny taste bc it had very little sauce. Also our waitress forgot the sweet and sour sauce and didn't remember it until we asked her for the check. The basil fried rice was ok but we would not be back."
"Not my favorite Thai restaurant. I was so excited to see a Thai menu, a Lao menu, a Japanese Menu, etc. but after tasting a number of items from the menu, it left me wishing I had gone somewhere else at least to a better Asian restaurant.I will say that the food was presented beautifully, the ambience was nice, and the service was very good. It was just the flavors that were lacking. I'm assuming that maybe it was just a bad day? But if I'm honest, I'm not sure I'd venture in again to give them another try myself in less I had a gift certificate or something.Anyway, I hate giving bad reviews of a place, but I wouldn't want someone to steer me in the wrong direction, and that's what YELP is all about anyway. Helping people to make better choices on their dining experiences!"
"The best Tom Yum soup you will ever eat. There are myriad other reasons to visit - everything on the menu is good - but this soup is a gateway to the divine, especially with big, juicy shrimp, and an option to add noodles. It might cure everything that ails you."
"We were really excited when Chada Thai first opened up as they were super close to our apartment and we absolutely love Thai food. We dined at the restaurant once and it was very, very good, but we ended up getting takeout during Covid and it was a complete 180 from the dine-in experience. The portions were very skimpy for what we paid and it was really a shame since we liked them initially. There has since been additional Thai restaurants that have opened up nearby and we've ended up choosing them over Chada Thai as they've been more consistent."
"Did you ever wish you could visit another city more often so you could get to a good restaurant? Me too. We were in Nashville recently and decided - instead of checking out new places, to go to a restaurant we apparently loved 4 years ago (hey, when you have a good thing, why play Russian roulette?). We weren't real hungry so shared the following: Fresh ($8) as well as fried Spring rolls (5), Steamed dumplings (9), Wonton Soup (7) and Coconut chicken soup (Tom Kha)(7). Great taste, except.... the Dumplings. The menu lists 'chicken shrimp', but we couldn't tell. They must have been finally blended, then steamed. Didn't care for them. Didn't effect our rating - sometimes you just don't like a particular dish.Everything else the same - service still great and the friendly. Get there if you like good Thai"
"Sakura is consistently good! It's tucked away in a nondescript strip mall next to Franklin's only legitimate late night bar, The Pond. It's the kind of place you know is good because of the lack of fanciness. They have a pretty wide range of Asian dishes, including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese. Want Thai Curry or Tom Kha, gatcha covered. What Sushi? Covered. Vietnamese Pho? Yep. "Chinese" General Chicken? Why not? They may have "Japanese" in the name, but all of it done well, at least to my American tastes. I think their Tom Kha is the best in town, and the Hong Kong shrimp really hit the spot."
"Got takeout - drunken noodle (pad kee mao) with tofu. When I went inside, there was nobody in front, and nobody was doing any service for the dine-in guests either. After waiting for a few minutes at the counter where takeout was, nobody showed up and I walked to the kitchen and asked through the open door about how to get pickup. Terrible. As for the food, I wasn't pleased; the first time I came here was surprisingly good so I'm disappointed this time, especially because pad kee mao is a pretty standard noodle dish that's served in all Thai restaurants. All the noodles were stuck together, it was pretty bad. Asked for spicy and they gave me a container of spicy oil on the side, instead of adding spicy peppers inside the noodles themselves. Good amount of basil and tofu, along with broccoli and onion, but definitely could do with more vegetables in general. For the price and quality, it's pretty expensive at $16. Wouldn't recommend it, there are likely better Thai places around."
"Love Peter's for a workday lunch stop. Service here is impressively fast and always friendly. The sushi always comes out extremely fresh and the quality of fish is too notch. Highly recommend checking out the Michael Jackson roll if you like a little spice with your roll."
"This place is soooo good ! It's a hidden gem really. The staff are great. The food is excellent. I got the red curry chicken and it was supreme !! The waitress was so sweet to me and even brought me out something to my car I left inside. They need to get their pot holes fixed in the parking lot but it's still a killer spot !"
"Talk about a hidden gem tucked away in a corner in LaVergne, TN. You wouldn't even know this place exist. If you want some good authentic Thai food, please run over to Chon Tong Thai Cafe. They have the best chicken wings around. The service and food is always good rather you're dinning in or taking out. It's a small quiet restaurant with owners that cook with love."
"Ordered delivery through Yelp (who gets it from Grubhub) for 4 people, got:- fresh spring rolls: pretty tasty, good sauce, lots of vegetables, light- spicy noodles (otherwise known as pad kee mao / drunken noodle) with tofu: quite tasty, liked that it was spicy (I asked for it spicy) and quite flavorful. Noodles weren't chewy though and stuck together a bit.- pad thai: comes with chicken and shrimp, not much flavor. Noodles all stuck together, nothing impressive.- red curry with tofu and green curry with tofu: both watered down, flavor was just okay. Asked for the green curry to be spicy which it was so at least that was good. Good amount of vegetables and tofu.Good amount of food, came out to be around $67 post-tax pre-tip, but for whatever reason, there was about $14 of delivery and service fee on top of that charged, yikes."
"We went just because we were craving sushi. Had no idea this was sort of a pan-Asian place with a very interesting assortment of dishes. So while we went ahead and got some sushi (sushi bar is small but the quality is top notch!), we absolutely had to also get one of the more unique sounding dishes. We opted for the Malaysian noodles which reminded us of Vietnamese drunken noodles, albeit with a spicy sweetness. It was fantastic and well cooked in a high temperature wok. Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back!"
"This was definitely not expected, but I am grateful I tried Koi. I had not tried any of their locations before, so this was a pleasant surprise. We had a group of ten people in attendance where we were able to do separate checks. That was a great win on my end. They do add gratuity onto the checks for larger parties we came to learn. They offer as the name of the restaurant adds, Thai food and sushi. I had a bento box that offered both and the rest of the table got sushi largely. The guys next to me go their Thai food and really enjoyed their food. Everyone did actually. I think that was the most attractive concept about the restaurant was having iPad on each table that showed the offerings of their sushi. Visual of the sushi made it easier to determine what to order plus giving a breakdown of each sushi item. I haven't seen this in too many restaurants, and this was a great added touch.Service was great! We had a great time interacting with the servers and felt they were very accommodating to us and visited us when necessary.Parking is a bit tricky. It is a small lot off of a major road. Come prepared to search for parking if visiting during a high volume time. We came on a Monday evening and it was not difficult, but can see this being problematic on a weekend night or during lunch rush."
"Went on a weekend right before the dinner rush and was met with quick and friendly service! The place is bright, clean and inviting. The menu has a lot of speciality sushi, some pretty creative rolls! I enjoyed my pho and also had a tom Kha as my appetizer. Yes I had soup and soup- I don't mind as I happen to love soup. My only wish was that there was more acidity and sourness to the Tom Kha, it was a bit too sweet and more coconut than I prefer. My boyfriend enjoyed his beef fried rice with medium spice. He thought the spice level was perfectly enjoyable (the step before it becomes hard to enjoy lol)As we were finishing up, the place got pretty busy and filled up to 75% capacity.Prices were cheap to average. I'd be interested in coming back to try some more sushi and Thai dishes on my next visit!"
"I'm on a mission to find great sushi places near the Murfreesboro area and ran across this hidden gem. First time coming here and I definitely will be back. I went around the time they first opened so it wasn't busy at all and was able to come in and sit right down. The setting was very casual and relaxed. The waiter was very attentive and checked on us throughout the duration of our lunch. I ordered the spring rolls for appetizer, as well as the Temptation roll. They brought out complimentary soup before we even ordered which I've never seen done at any sushi restaurant before but I loved it and the soup was out of this world. The spring rolls came out smoking hot so you definitely get fresh food when you come. The Temptation roll was sooooo delicious it came with crab meat, shrimp, masago, scallions, eel sauce and a special sauce and the presentation was 10/10. There were so many other things I wanted to try on the menu that sound good so I will be back to try them. I would highly recommend this restaurant."
"We love Assembly Food Hall and aim to try a new place every time we come here. Thai Esane was our restaurant for our recent visit and it was a decent meal overall. I got the drunken noodles and I liked the flavor of the meal and the texture of the vegetables, but the chicken was oddly soft and the texture was more akin to tofu. My wife got the red curry and she loved the flavor of it, but the texture of her chicken was also off and she didn't care for it either. Prices were very reasonable and we would come back here again, but would probably not get the chicken next time."
