"We stopped while driving through on our way to DCI Phantom Regiment Camp in Kentucky. Lots of Mexican restaurants to choose from in Nashville, but chose this one a bit north of the city and so glad we did! The restaurant is absolutely GORGEOUS with all of the murals! I loved it and the food was just as good. They serve BOGO margaritas, and cold beer. We had apps of cheese dip and elote and were impressed with the vegetarian menu, as one of us never has many choices. So nice to have options! Great food and service, will be back when driving through!"
"It's SO LOUD. Thats the only con, besides being super busy! Thats a good problem to have though lol.Tonight's grub includes black bean burger and tots! The tots were out of this world! They had a seasoning that made them so so excellent - definitely recommend!! Black bean burger, it was ok - nothing to write home about, but I finished it all. I think the aioli was mayo - I might have not read it correct on the menu? Maybe it was supposed to be mayo and not aioli. I think the tots had more flavor than the burger. I'm ok with that and I'll be back and try something else! The tot-chos looked amazing that's gotta be my next grub there! I also had pinot grigio it was really refreshing would get again."

If you want to eat in Hillsboro Village, Greenery is what you have in mind (even if you don't know that you have it in mind). To the surprise of no one, during my time in and out, there was a steady drumbeat of customers. The secret is out but, I think, everyone is fine with sharing.Running errands in late spring it dawned on me that if I had Nashville to do over again, I'd probably look to buy in the Belmont-Hillsboro area. That might not be fair, as I moved here with different interests. But, to my estimation, BH is about as dense as you get in Nashville (with social options) without being overrun by so many of the things that led to Mayor O'Connell to implore that he 'want[ed us] to stay.' What does this have to do with Greenery? Having a spot like this in one's backyard is extra incentive to stay. After wrestling with parking (as one does in HV), I made my way into exactly what I was expecting: set design from Taylor Swift's 'Willow' video. This'll do. So, what does one order when running through a carnival in the woods? A salad. One orders a salad. I ordered the Greenhouse Chopped. It's a process. You start with a base and then it gets bigger and better with every question ('you want this? You want that?'). The salad is a triumph of chicken, purple cabbage, romaine lettuce, carrots, roasted broccoli, chili cauliflower, cucumber, and cherry tomatoes. And, to top it off, is an addictive yogurt ranch. This gets mixed, tossed and chopped. Once the finished product is in the bowl, you'll have to flex a bit to carry it. The salad isn't cheap but it's not small. At all. You get your money's worth. All the while I received engaged (for what it is) conversation and smiles. I felt appreciated as a customer. That appreciation (and Taylor's magic lasso) convinced me to order a triple chocolate chip cookie. Again, not cheap. Again, not small. After devouring the salad, I only had a piece of the cookie. I could have eaten it all but good things are meant to be savored. This was the best lunch that I had enjoyed in quite a while."
"We came in here about 30 minutes before closing and they were so accommodating. Cameron and Chanel were super sweet and willing to assist with whatever we asked for. There was a gentleman trying to breakdown the drink station who patiently waited for us to get our drinks. Shout out to the night shift. Cleanliness is 5/5 all around from the dining area, drink station, and food serving counter. Listen get the pita chips. They have the right amount of crisp and season. If you're looking for a CAVA to visit, look no further."
"I was getting a haircut at Big Daddys barber shop when Bill brings in a plate of food from JPs bar and grille. It looked dang good and everyone was talking about how good the food is. It was lunchtime so off O went. So yes it's a bar. Yes it smells of cigarettes. But the food was amazing. This chicken wrap isn't listed on their menu, but they'll make it for you! Comes with tots, fries, or chips. Every soul in this place was super nice. They will chat with you. I may have to come back and hang out. They have pool tables, cold beer, a bar with specialty drinks, video games, and other activities. The place is huge too. The food portions are big. You probably won't be able to eat all of your meal here."
"I hadn't been to Rafferty's in 10 years or so. I went with two other adults and a child. It was Friday night so I thought we'd have to wait, but it was not crowded so we were seated at once. Oh, it was cold! The air conditioning was on full blast and other customers were cold. We asked to waiter to see if it could be turned down; he said he had and soon it began to warm up. Soon a manager came by to see if we were comfortable.Service was quick and the waiter checked on us several times. I had the California Burger with bacon. Fried were my side. Food was good and plentiful. There was a child's menu and the grilled cheese sandwich sounded good; I would have liked it.The place is a bit tired. The men's restroom was not as well taken care of as I hoped, but acceptable. I didn't have an alcoholic drink as I had sweet tea which was fine. The manager checked on us several times. It's an OK place and must do well as it's been there for a number of years. Bring it up to date and it'll be fine. I had a nice time and left FULL!"
"I had the burger and it was great. The bbq sauce is sweet but not a detractor at all with the saltiness of the bacon. I wish they had fries as I'm not a chip fan but I ate of the house made chips. We shared the bacon wrapped pimento cheese stuffed jalapeños and OMG you have to get those. My wife had the build you own grilled cheese with avocado with the soup of the day which was a pepperoni pizza soup both of which were great.I now see why Chef Maneet brought Guy here for DDD."
"Charming atmosphere (love the upstairs couch space) with consistently good food. So far, we have really liked each meal. Though it's pricier than most cafes/coffee shops around, the quality of food is so much fresher and better than most. The couple who owns it have been very welcoming. I hope they can expand their hours soon."
"Apartment complex had pizza from this spot, tried pepperoni and one with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, bell peppers, onion. Pizza was pretty thin, flavorless, not very good at all. Crust was a bit hard too."
"For authentic Cajun fare in the Bellevue area, come to Voodoo Gumbo. The jambalaya was delicious. Their french bread is the best and it makes for an amazing po'boy. The staff is friendly and attentive. They do not assume you are a NOLA native and explain the tastes and options for everything. This is great food to take to go or for delivery. For a quick lunch or delicious dinner, consider Voodoo Gumbo."

Came in on a Sunday at 5:30. Several open tables. There are lots of tvs with different games playing. We ordered several different appetizers. Cheese curds were very good and not greasy. We got the nachos with bbq pork. They did not skimp on the toping and the bbq was very good. Good beer selection but be sure and ask your hostess about options as they had a couple that were not on the list. Taylor was our waitress and did an outstanding job. Will definitely be coming back.

If I lived near Greenery, I would probably eat here everyday. Even now, I'm plotting my next visit to the neighborhood so I can stop in for a deliciously fresh salad. I met a friend for lunch on a Monday afternoon, and was lucky enough to snag some of the free parking directly behind the restaurant. There was a short line to order, but it moved quickly! I decided to go with one of their special, seasonal offerings - the Butternut Miso Bowl. I swapped the broccoli for some brussels sprouts (which was an upcharge, but well worth it!) All of the ingredients were flavorful and crisp, and the curry miso dressing had a nice spice and tanginess to it. The chicken was perfectly roasted and still moist - which says a lot, since many restaurants with a similar concept consistently serve chicken on the drier side. The restaurant was busy during its lunch rush, but with lots of spread out seating available, it didn't feel crowded at all. We snagged a couple of their cookies for the road ... which may very well be the best cookie I've had in Nashville! Not much is better than a perfectly made chocolate chip cookie - and Greenery Co is baking theirs artfully. I'll happily be returning to Greenery as soon as possible ... and will definitely be bringing friends and family here when they're in town for a healthy and tasty lunch!

This is my go to lunch spot, I come a couple times a month to take food back to the office. The food is always fresh, portion sizes are great, and it's pretty much always ready at the time they promise! It gets pretty busy at lunch, especially when Vanderbilt classes are in session there are so many students. So have some grace with the employees, and if you don't like a line order ahead!

Fun ambiance in the heart of the busy food court. Highly recommend! The bartender was great.
Visit Restaurant Page"Nice location in downtown Nashville on Broadway. Clean space, we walked kn for dinner. I ordered a balsamic date chicken salad bowl. Had a small portion of greens, rice, sweet potato, grilled chicken, corn and a sweet balsamic dressing, something different instead of having fried chicken or ribs in Nashville. The staff was very stiff and robotic- they need to be a bit more warm towards customers. When we walked in at 7pm, they had just washed the floors and puddles of water were all over the dinning room, i saw the wet floor signs but ladies coming in with heels or shoes-will definitely slip. Maybe the e management should pay attention to the little details that are of importance. The food reminded me of Chipotle, except the proteins have a middle eastern seasoning."
"Wow! We found fresh sushi that's with well balanced flavors that taste amazing! You can really feel that thought is really behind each roll. The owner is really nice and also the sushi chef - Chef Himmi. The whole staff is also fantastic and they provide some great recommendations. We started with their spicy tuna over crispy rice and that was delicious - great starter! We had the caterpillar role which was delicious and refreshing. We ordered their Lemon Kiss. I'm not a fan of cream cheese in sushi rolls but I could hardly tell it was in there. The fresh fish and lemon really came through in that roll and it was delicious. Now the show stopper for us was the Hamachi Futomaki! That had layers of flavor and so fresh, highly recommend! We ate at the sushi bar which is always fun because you can chat with the chef! They have beer on the menu and only thing missing was saki."
"This was a nice surprise that our hotel suggested. The place was slammed when we arrived which was a good sign. They quickly had us at a table. It did take a while to take our order and get us our drinks, but they were really busy. The food came out pretty quick and both the kiddo and I enjoyed it. We tore thru o we half the large before finally giving up and getting a box. The best part...under $20!Definitely recommended."
"A favorite cafe of mine. The kitchen outperforms, preparing outstanding flavors with superb presentation.Previously, the location was a sandwich shop and a local meat and 3. Not the location you expect fine dining. It is totally different now. When they first opened everyone was packed in the lobby waiting for a table. No reservations, just a wait list, since then, they take your cell number and you wait in your car/outside until called. Wait time estimates are pretty accurate. Casual seating at tables and booths, you can share appetizers and then enjoy your main course. I like them all. (I miss the caprise salad)Dishes do change seasonally with the growing season but the proteins hold pretty steady.Totally worth it.Navigate the parking lot carefully."
"Good food in a nice, clean restaurant. The cheesesteaks here are really good. Everything is made to order and you get to select your cheese and add any veggies (or double meat) for a slight charge. The fries were served hot and they were well seasoned. The staff were nice and we really enjoyed our meal. This is a great place for lunch. The food is tasty and the prices are reasonable."
"Used Cinco De Mayo to cater a lunch for one of my doctor's offices. They did a really good job having the food ready on time and they gave me a decent price.Everyone seemed to enjoy the spread of beef and chicken fajitas with rice, beans, chips, salsa, Guacamole, sour Cream, and the feast.I would use them again."
"I love everything about this place! The outside is cute and it really stands out for the area. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere just off the highway, which just adds to the appeal in my opinion. Inside it is clean & cozy and feels like a little Bayou oasis. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The guy at the counter was so friendly and so helpful; I think he might have been the owner and/or a chef. I got a bottled Abita Root Beer (super good) and I started with the Duck Wontons on special because they sounded interesting. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was blown away! I'd maybe describe the filling like a smoky duck chowder, and the raspberry-jalapeno jelly dipping sauce was amazing. I'd buy that by the gallon. For my meal, I actually went way out of my comfort zone and tried the Crawfish Etoufee. I first confirmed with the guy at the counter that I didn't actually have to pick up a crawfish to eat it, so I went for it since it was fully cooked in the sauce. It was fabulous! It came with rice and bread, but seriously the sauce was so good. I only got a cup and it was a lot. I need to come back to try everythinggggg else."
"Used this location to prepare lunch for one of my doctor's offices and they did an amazing job. They really paid attention to detail and provided everything I asked for. Very professional staff and great ambiance as well! Everyone loved the food"
"I've come here for dinner once but have been wanting to try the Gospel brunch and what better day than to come for Easter Sunday. As soon as I walked in, I could hear the beautiful angelic voices of the amazing artists. We chose to sit on the patio which was covered today but gave a nice breeze for the day. Our waiter was very attentive and walked us through the brunch menu but also letting us know that the majority of items on their dinner menu was also available to order. I ordered the chophouse omelet and a pineapple mimosa. The omelet was really good but a bit salty at times. The mimosa was really good. On the menu they only had a regular mimosa but I asked if they can do one with pineapple juice and they made it for me! The patio is away from the live music but at times they had some old school Gospel tunes playing on the speakers which was niceOverall, the music was amazing but would definitely plan to sit indoors next time just to hear the live music better but the food and atmosphere was really good. Highly recommend this place whether you're coming with your friends, family or a date, this restaurant is a nice treat The restaurant offers valet which was $17 today"
"My husband and I just stumbled across this place by pure luck. It's off Harding Place and Nolensville Rd in Antioch. I had the hummus plate with falafel and tabooli (it also came with a side of pita). My husband had the chicken mendi. The owners came by and talked to us; such a nice family. They told us about their culture and how the food is prepared. Fascinating! They asked us if we wanted dessert and said they were trying out a new recipe called pistachio cheesecake. Of course we had to try it! I just sat and shook my head in disbelief with every bite. So. So. Good. The place is extremely clean and I love the traditional booths that are closed in and intimate.I told the owner that I would put this place up against any restaurant in NYC. And if I were Paul Hollywood, he'd be getting a handshake. Restaurant experiences like this is why I still love leaving Yelp reviews!"
"Everything you'd expect from a Sports Bar. We visited Neighbors in the Gulch this weekend and we were glad we did. Neighbors is a quintessential sports bar, with lots of beer, a full bar, and a nice food menu. The staff were friendly and attentive, even when the place got full around 2:00 pm. The walls are filled with posters, sports memorabilia, and televisions. Yes, it's decorated in a very masculine manner, but isn't that what you want from a sports bar? And there are large televisions everywhere you look. The beer was cold and everyone enjoyed the food they ordered. Pro Tip: Order a side of Brussels Sprouts with your sandwich instead of fries. The Sprouts are delicious! We will definitely return to Neighbors in the Gulch whenever we need to spend some time in a high quality sports bar."
"Food here is a little different from traditional Mexican places. EX: Their Chili Rellenos are not deep fried, but the way they do them is pretty good. The cheese is an open faced relleno with red sauce and cheese oven fried. I also tried it with chicken and cheese, where they prepared it with melted cheese dip over a grilled relleno stuffed with diced chicken. Both actually really good, but I was surprised the first time I ordered it in expecting a deep friend rellano. Their "skinny" marg is still pretty sweet so not sure how skinny it is, but it is good. They have some of the best salsa I have ever had. Service is general quick and food always tastes fresh."
"Don't let the old exterior fool you. This place is clean, has great food and awesome service."
"Hot take: my favorite things to get here are actually the non-pho items.Don't get me wrong: on a cold day, grabbing a heaping bowl of chicken pho (where I always sub tofu for the chicken meat) can really hit the spot, but the rotating specials and quite frankly one of my all-time favorite salads are my go-to's at this lovely fast-casual spot in East.Part of a micro food hall of sorts, East Side Pho brings the fresh and herby flavors I love in Vietnamese cuisine to anything they do. On a recent day when I didn't eat lunch and came in a bit hangry, I grabbed the new shrimp & pork steamed dumplings with chili oil. Let me just say -- WOW. I actually don't eat pork so had never ordered these before but now I guess I eat pork only when East Side Pho is serving up these dumplings? Literally some of the best dumplings I've ever had. Have gotten them several times since then. The salad is also a real fave - the half is SUPER generous and filling, loaded with herbs, pickled onions, crunchy peanuts, crispy chicken skin. So dreamy and delicious. Also recommend just getting a cup of broth to go for a tasty sipper! My go-to whenever I feel the slightest chance of a sniffle coming in and I'm convinced this broth cures all.Lots of room to sit outside or you can combine with a tasty drink inside at nearby bar Bay 6 (my go-to option!)"
"Let me begin by saying I am a Mug Club member, and I love Tailgate. Now on to the review of this location. My wife and I were headed to a Nashville Sounds game and decided to visit Tailgate Germantown before the game. I have Ben to multiple locations, but this was my first time at this one. It did not disappoint! Fantastic beer and food selection, just like every location. Everything was what I expected from Tailgate. The beer was great, as usual. I had 2 different beers, and opted for lighter selections - TENN Golden Lager and Patio Time BB Blonde Ale. Both were great choices! My wife, who is NOT a beer drinker, tried the Sounds Strawberry Lemonade Shandy and really enjoyed it. Of course I sampled it, and it was quite good - a nice summer drink, for sure. We had some adult chicken nuggets and pretzel bites. Both were great! Hot, fresh and very tasty. Service was excellent!! We were greeted the minute we walked in the door, and everyone was very attentive and helpful. At least 3 different staff members walked by our table and asked if we needed anything. Then, when I went to the bar for a second beer, I was asked by every server if I needed help. Outstanding service! Finally, I love the location. The patio sits beside the ballpark, and the views are great! Easy access from the brewery to the gate at the ballpark makes it nice when you're relaxing inside before a game. This was my first visit, but it certainly will not be my last."
"The best Tom Yum soup you will ever eat. There are myriad other reasons to visit - everything on the menu is good - but this soup is a gateway to the divine, especially with big, juicy shrimp, and an option to add noodles. It might cure everything that ails you."
"I really liked a lot of things about Burger Up. The venue itself, the staff are great, and the menu -- so many options and choices. Love, actually. The housemade ketchup went excellent with my sweet potato truffle fries. I tried the sliders, because it was not plain, you could choose any two of the delicious sounding burgers. Therefore, I went with the Woodstock and the Jalapeno, but honestly, they all sounded good. For sliders, they were just good not great. The buns were a little dense (not soft), and the burger dry. Maybe the full burger would be better.I'd definitely be up for trying more on the menu, it's a great hang, too."
"This bar used to look really new in 2017 while the staff used to seem very experienced like they had been doing it for years. Tall boy cans seem to be the order of the day here and they have tall boys for beers I have never seen tall boys for before. The bartenders were really great, friendly, attentive, provided fast service and remembered my name every time I ordered. They have a small little patio on the side that was mostly filled with the smokers. This seems to be more of a sports bar vibe than anything else and they also have a decent menu and I've sampled some of the food and it is alright but there are way better options in the area these days. The parking lot is a bit small and often is full but it is usually easy to find street parking a block or so away. Overall this used to be a cool little spot to enjoy some sports. Back during my first few visits in 2017 I got the impression here that the staff were really nice folks and the bar offered fair prices and provided a nice comfortable venue so it was just a good spot to be if you were in the area. In the years since my first visit this bar just kept being less enjoyable to me. I used to always make sure to pay a visit to the Germantown Pub during every visit I made to Nashville but now I find it just isn't a place I want to stop at anymore as all the friendly bartenders seem to have left. My video review of Germantown Pub is here:https://youtu.be/1dkdAgmYZug"
"I've gotten takeout from Maru a few times before, and my experience has always been great. The food is always packaged well, prepared quickly, and so far I've never had any mistakes. Everything on the menu is pretty moderately priced in comparison to other sushi places in town as well, which is why this has become a go to spot. I ordered the crunch mania and hot night rolls as well as a side of miso soup. Both rolls were great portion sizes and the fish tasted fresh, especially on the crunch mania. I'm not always a fan of deep fried rolls, but the combination of flavors in the hot night roll were delicious. Miso soup was pretty standard and had good flavor as well. I have yet to eat here in person, but if the takeout is this good I can only imagine how good it must be for dine in. I will definitely be stopping by again soon!"
"4.5The Nations -- who saw that coming, right? When I decided to make the trek out west to check out a new* pizza spot, I had to take the time to gawk and grouse. Gawk at the amount of construction and new builds in the neighborhood. I didn't have that on my bingo card ten years ago. Grouse because of all the congestion, issues parking, etc. that comes along with that kind of rapid growth.Midnight Oil is a neighborhood spot. I'm sure it has plenty of patrons - like me- driving to check it out. But it gets more than enough business by locals. The Friday night I visited was packed to the brim. There were people a to e in every square inch of the dining room, bar and overflow area. I managed to push my way to the bar and was surprised** to find an amiable bartender at the other end. He seemed nonplussed by the heavy crowds. He was cheerful and engaging in the face of pure chaos. I was impressed.I'd done my research so I knew what I wanted. I ordered a slice (yep, you can order by the slice; that's worth a star in and of itself) of Sweet Heat, 3 Meat and Buffalo Chicken to go. The bartender took my order and told me it was 'solid.' Since it was to go (ie I was driving), he gave me a glass of water and told me to stay where I was. Despite the crowd and me taking up a place at the bar with water, he didn't push me aside. Kudos, sir. In an appropriate amount of time, my food was ready and he gave me the big box of my bounty. I wished him well and took off.Getting home, I took out a bottle of American Blonde ale from the fridge and got to work. The Sweet Heat was a delicious blend of sweet, savory and spicy courtesy of the sliced capicola, jalapeños and honey drizzle. The 3 Meat was packed with bacon, sausage and pepperoni. And the Buffalo Chicken had a BLEU CHEESE BASE and was topped with chicken, celery, bacon, and buffalo sauce. All three slices were huge and delicious. I could barely finished but I egged myself on. I totally understand why it was so packed. Midnight Oil is legit. It's Friday night. You know where to go. *It was new-ish when I visited.**Sad to say."
