"This has become my favorite place to in downtown Nashville. I go at least once a week. I have become a big fan of the fish taco's at Chile Burrito. They have a fish taco Tuesday for like $8 and it includes chips and a drink. It gets pretty busy on Tuesday but it is worth it. The medium salsa is outstanding so that would be my recommendation for the salsa. Also try the chipotle sour cream, it is amazing."
"Cool, exotic little hangout where seafood is king. Specifically, Mexican seafood, or "mariscos" is the specialty of the house. There is a wide variety of seafood ranging from oysters on the half shell to shrimp, fish, octopus and more cooked in various ways. My shrimp cocktail was a meal in itself and it came with some Mexican saltine crackers that were the bomb!! I swore to remember the brand but of course I forgot. I should have just taken a pic with my crackberry!Endless chips and 4 types of salsas start you off on a spicy journey of discovery. And they have very cold Mexican brews to help tame the heat!I did not see any americans in here, only spanish-speakers, which was a good omen for me. They have karaoke on Saturday night, but it is spanish only."

Lots of Mexican restaurants to choose from in Nashville, but chose this one a bit north of the city and so glad we did! The restaurant is absolutely GORGEOUS with all of the murals! I loved it and the food was just as good. They serve BOGO margaritas, and cold beer. We had apps of cheese dip and elote and were impressed with the vegetarian menu, as one of us never has many choices. So nice to have options! Great food and service, will be back when driving through!"
"LISTEN, if you're looking for some street tacos, just go here! I know there are a 1000 places up and down Nolensville road & Harding place - BUT here's your winner!! The tacos are dirt cheap but don't be fooled I'd pay double, triple the listed price because they are that good!"
"I always come here for my favorite pastry. Friendly people, who speak both Spanish and English. If I come in, and the pastry is not available, they will even make it for me while I wait for only like 5 minutes. What not to like?"
"Oh this is in my back yard and I'm still finding my way around in Music City Nashville, TN USA. Nevertheless, I was passing by and hubby said let's try this Mexican restaurant, yes of course I agreed. We were seated when we first came in . The restaurant has a nice size of patrons but not too many for lunch time. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Jesus is our waiter and he knows the menu very well. I ordered a Margarita and the number 5 lunch special- taco, chili relleno and rice and beans. Hubby carne asada burrito and rice and beans. Overall the food is delish and I think you should try it out if you like Mexican food!"
"This place should actually be called Los Amigos since they treat everyone like friends. We've come here several times and I can say the service and food is consistently good. My only (weird) complaint is that I don't like how heavy and awkward the oversized chairs are at the tables. On our latest visit I got the fajitas with just about everything under the sun. There was so much food that I had another meal the following day (and i probably could have stretched it into 3 meals total!) The fajitas had steak, chicken, shrimp, carnitas and chorizo as the protein then onions and green, red and yellow bell peppers. It was served with a huge platter of refried beans, rice, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole and tortillas. We came on the late side close to closing but they still served us which was nice. The server was attentive and we didn't wait long for our food. The server also brought us more chips and salsa while we were waiting. This is one of the better Mexican restaurants in town and we appreciate that they are always friendly and nice."
"Best Mexican food around. Fast friendly service. My favorite is the white cheese and the taco salad. We have been coming here for years and are always pleased with service and food."
"This is really a 4.5 star review. We came here based on the Yelp reviews, and were pleased with our experience. The frozen margarita was refreshing, a perfect blend of lime and salt, and a happy hour price! Hubby ordered his usual unsweetened tea with lots of lemon. The Shrimp Enchiladas caught my eye while Hubby had the Chimichanga with rice and beans. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the food. There were plenty of shrimp in the enchilada and it was tasty. We enjoyed our food and will consider returning when we are in the area."
"I got a shrimp taco, chicharron taco, pastor taco, and surtido taco. The tacos are a pretty decent size and are nicely filled. I might have went overboard with 4 tacos for myself. My favorites were the pastor and surtido. The shrimp taco was too chipotle tasting. The chicharron taco was nothing special. Don't forget to top off your food with their green sauce. I think they have the best creamy sauce anywhere in town. Also, margaritas are more on the sweeter side."

The salsa is amazing I highly recommend mixing the red an green it will make it both spicy and flavorful I ordered the mixed fajitas they were delicious and he order the shrimp cocktail it was large and filled him up drinks are cheap at only 3.50 for beer soda is bottled so no refills ;-( FINALLY AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD!! I would give it five stars except there menus are out dated so when we got the bill one of the meals was five dollars more expensive. Not to big deal but a few dollars off on each meal Is about 15-20 more expensive at the end

I've eaten here and at the other location and have always had friendly service and good food. My usual is chicken chimichangas. So good. And the fajitas are also good. The restaurant was clean. I'm looking forward to visiting again in the near future.
Visit Restaurant Page"Service was excellent, food was tasty and good portions were great! There was live music that evening I went and it was a nice ambiance. Ordered the street tacos- one steak and one chicken. Both were very good, but I preferred the flavor of the steak (and it wasn't gristly at all!). Also ordered the side of rice and beans and it was a generous portion. I've never seen such a lovely and large "side of avocado"! Chips didn't have that lingering oil taste that can happen sometimes. Everything felt fresh. They have outdoor dining too!"
"Tacos Y Mariscos Linda Mexico is the epitome of hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant located in a nondescript building that has definitely seen better days. The parking lot is very tight and I was glad that I found a parking spot by the entrance and I backed in the spot.Walking in, I found myself anticipating a fantastic meal. I am a firm believer that the best Mexican food does not come from higher end restaurants with a focus on ambiance and vibe, but rather the best Mexican food I have found comes from humble little mom-and-pop type places like this.My server was great. She was friendly and outgoing. She definitely added to my overall positive experience here.Looking at the menu, I opted to go with four tacos. I got a spicy pork, a beef and two chorizo. Let me also point out that the tacos were $2.25 each. They brought two sauces, a red and green. Both were great, though I preferred the spicier green. The tacos themselves were incredible, as well.I would definitely recommend here and I will give it five stars."
"Stopped here for lunch. They have a wide variety of lunch specials at great prices. I ordered a lunch steak fajita daily special - it also came with rice and beans. The beans were DELISH, the rest was average. Hubby ordered chicken and shrimp and said it was good. Chips and salsa are provided and I really liked that the salsa has a nice spice to it....but it was very runny. Service was fast and friendly."
"We've been here once and it was a decent experience overall. We were seated quickly and had good service throughout our meal and our margaritas were tasty. We enjoyed our chips and queso, but my wife and I had fajitas and while they were cooked well, they were one of the saltiest fajitas we've ever had. That was definitely a bummer and I would avoid the fajitas here, but I would still come back as the rest of the experience was nice and it's in a convenient location."
"I have tried various Mexican food trucks in Nashville, and I would have say I am sort of addicted. Back home in West Virginia we don't have these..so when I first moved here, it was very interesting. My husband doesn't like them...but he is not a Taco Bell person either, but I have to admit, I don't find Taco Bell as appealing as I used too...since I have found the food trucks..I feel the food is more authentic than Taco Bell, so when I want a good taco...I find a food truckNow this one is located behind a gas station on Harding place, and there is always a line. Their English is not that great but thank goodness I can read a little bit. I don't speak Spanish either, so it is fun to try and order....lol !!!I sometimes feel uneasy when visiting these locations, I am usually the only caucasian and I don't speak spanish..but we get the job done. This food at this truck was good, but NOT amazing..and not really cheap...I would stop here again, if I was in the area, and my favorite place was closed or too busy...but I wouldn't seek this truck out.Now again this is my opinion and I am not trying to get peeps not to go there, just being truthful about me and what I experienced."
"Good Mexican food at decent prices and great service. They have a happy hour Sunday brunch, however the mimosa, IMO, had a weird taste. The ribeye quesadilla and Caesar saladwere good. Also, only in the south--if you sit outside you have this cool fly repellent fan."
"I am from Southern California so I have had some of the best Mexican food on the planet. As you may know, there is an absolute dearth of Mexican food in Tennessee. We had our reservations about coming here but we were pleasantly surprised. All of the staples were very good, starting with very solid chips and salsa. The carny asada, grilled chicken, and ground beef tacos were all very tasty. The only thing missing from the menu is shredded beef tacos and taquitos. The waitress explained that shredded beef is not popular in this area. They have been open about seven months as of July 2, 2022. It's run by a family and their long time friends so they care and the service is good. Dos sisters is now in my restaurant rotation."
"Authentic and delicious. Is no way to describe the flavor of the food in this place because u have to try to understand how good this place is. If u travel and had the opportunity to visit places around the world but u don't have a lot money to go back to that place they have ur fav food please do not panic, don't worry, do not stress anymore because Lulu's cafe can give u all ur heart desires. From different regions of Mexico this place has from Tijuana all the way to Cancun and more just remember when I say that this is a hole in the wall but is an incredible little place that I really, really love and wish much success."
"Solid lunch place with fresh food! Though there are a few California taco places to choose from, this is a solid choice. Service is okay, and the place was spotless. Rolled taco platter, piping hot chips and queso, and a salsa bar all made my first visit stand out. Only wishes: fresh made tea and horchata."
"AMAZING! Bathrooms available and plenty of parking-parking deck right next to small parking lot. I went with my sister and the place is so spacious and close to downtown. She is a local in Nashville and swears by this place. We are both from Central America and love our margaritas and Latin cuisine. These tortillas are homemade!! Chips/totopos are corn chips -but have hade contact with flour. The salsa was so good we asked for some to take back with us. They have an avocado tomatillo salsa that is just incredible. I think we had three helpings of it alone.Fajitas are incredible! We had steak and it was nice thick chunks of great meat! Normally is flat flank steak that's slightly over cooked but this was perfect and we shared that and it was plenty! Now the margaritas are incredible!! I had the OG and the pomegranate. I would recommend the OG. It was limey and so good! There is an inside and a patio. We sat on the patio it was perfect"
"Um, WOW! Talk about a hidden gem! Sweeza is serving up authentic, Cali-inspired Mexican food. This is going to be our new go-to, for sure. We'd been to the Wash before to pick up Eastside Pho, and made a mental note to add this spot to our list. I can't believe we waited so long! I placed an order online on a Saturday afternoon, and it was ready for pick-up in less than 30 minutes. You can also opt to eat on the patio at the Wash, or at Bay 6. I wanted to try as much as possible - so we ordered a few different things to share. The Rolled Tacos filled with shredded pork were my absolute favorite: crispy on the outside, meaty on the inside, and topped with fresh salsa and lettuce. Both sauces served on the side (red and green) were incredible for dipping. My husband's favorite was the Don Juan Special, which is a double steak quesadilla filled with French fries and fried jalapeños. It's also served with a side of Mexican rice and beans. We also had a few bites of the Adobo Chicken burrito, which was delicious! Packed full of flavorful mix-ins and saucy chicken. The value is spot on as well - you get a lot of food for the price. Sweeza is certainly dishing up "super" quesadillas, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, Cali-Mex feast!"
"My typical authentic taco truck jaunt is Nolensville Road, but I was majorly craving tacos and found this food truck on 8th Avenue and decided to give them a shot since it is close by. I came during lunch and it is located in a small Shell parking lot close to the Melrose Kroger. I was able to get a spot in front of the gas station, but parking was more and more busy the longer I was there. I can definitely see parking being a problem, so keep that in mind. I ordered 2 pastor,1 carnitas, and 1 lengua taco. I had no language barriers ordering, and received a number for my order which I've never had before and felt was a nice touch. I think I waited longer than usual for my tacos, but they were pretty busy and taking orders over the phone in addition to walk ups, so it was a reasonable wait for their popularity. I was able to choose my sauces, and they have the typical red sauce and the creamy jalapeno (which is my favorite). Unfortunately the ramekins were small, but I didn't get any push back when I asked for extra. The lengua and pastor tacos were my favorite; I wouldn't recommend the carnitas but overall I was very pleased! They also came with plenty of raw and grilled onions and the sauces were very good as well. I left with 4 tacos that were right under $6 which is still a steal and they were better than most of the upscale taco joints in town. I would highly recommend giving this taco truck a shot and see myself coming here a lot more often!"
"Mestizo's is a local Mexican spot that sits at the corner of Old Hickory and Charlotte Pike. It is a small place, nothing fancy with no frills just solid food, decent service and tasty sangria! While they offer a lot of the classic TexMex dishes, their menu is a bit different than your average local Mexican spot. It is more specialized with main food for dinner being on one page. If you are a combination person, which I am guilty of, you do have the option to create your own combo with a few mains and sides, but you will not find a #1 or Speedy Gonzalez at Mestizo's! We started our meal off with the Chorizo con Queso, which ran us $7.50. This is the same price as the standard queso in the same size, so why would you not get the chorizo?! For dinner we both opted for one of the Platillos con Pollo, or chicken dishes. I got the Pollo Con Hongos, which is grilled chicken and mushrooms topped with queso and sided with rice/beans...but 86 the beans for me! My partner got the Pollo Fiesta, grilled chicken, peppers, onions and tomatoes on abed of rice topped with queso. I was in love with my dish, but the tomatoes were a little haphazardly chopped and cooked on the Fiesta plate, but it was still good per my partner. So, we enjoyed our apps and dinners! The interior was odd, not in a bad way, it is just different for a local Mexican spot. It is essentially one big room with the bar in the middle, booths lining the walls and tables filling the other areas. It is not a big space, but it works. Service was a little odd. Maybe they team all the tables, but it was tough to determine who our server actually was as we had three people visit our table throughout the night. We had to flag down a waiter twice during our meal to get a refill/side and the check. They were all friendly, but it was a little messy from the service side of things. Parking is tough, as is entry and exit into the location. There are a few spots up front in the small lot or some spaces behind the building. Currently they are the only business in the building, but it appears they will have a laundromat joining soon...so that lot is going to get a little worse for in and out, and spaces! Overall, we enjoyed our trip to Mestizo's. It's certainly worth a trip back and is on the list for go-to Mexican spots around our neighborhood."
"Excellent chimichanga! And the margarita was HUGE! Very clean place. Friendly staff with great service. I enjoyed the decor which was really nice boat decor. Prices were totally reasonable too. Authentic Mexican."
"This is the perfect example of don't judge a book by the cover!!When you pull up you will be like, "what in the heck is he talking about? This is a dump." Yep it looks like that. It is right next to a "massage parlor" and it looks very sketchy! Inside the venue was clean and ready for business. It wasn't elegant it wasn't outrageous, it wasn't special... it was a local down home joint that felt comfortable. When we walked in we were the only ones there... that is usually a red flag! However it was 2pm and past the lunch rush so we hoped it was not a sign. They brought the usual chips and salsa to the table... it had a little heat. Not too hot but good flavor! Starting off good. The chips were fresh and crunchy not too thin and quite good.We ordered the queso and some guac of which the queso I loved! It was the right consistency, it had a bit of spice and flavor was awesome!Emboldened by the great queso (my wife said the guac was great as well... I just don't like avocado!) we dove into the menu and ordered. I ordered the carne asada tacos and one special taco the waitress recommended (I should have noted the name.) My wife and son had the flautas... chicken and the rest ordered various dishes. The food was out of this world! Stupendous! Fantastic! It was the best Mexican food we have had since leaving Texas! I wish this location was in Atlanta! Everything was fresh. The tacos were real corn tortillas, small and packed with carne... the special taco was loaded with shredded beef, cheese, and had a cream drizzled over the top of it... it was extraordinary! Wow what flavors! They brought out a hot cream sauce which, if used sparingly, was just en fuego! Every bite was a symphony of other worldly tastes. All six of us fell in love... so much so I didn't take any pics of the food. It was all just so gosh darn good I lost myself in the joy of the dishes. The prices were right.. the service was good the food was purely outstanding! Ignore what you see when you pull up and get yourself over here to try out some of the best authentic Mexican food I have had in years! This is one place you have to get to!Truly wonderful!"
"Tacos Y Mariscos is a humble establishment located in a part of Nashville, Tennessee rarely seen by tourists. More than humble, the ambiance is pretty much nonexistent. Cheap chairs, cheap tables in a room that has been worn with time and neglect is theme and the barred windows offer a hint that this is probably not the safest of neighborhoods. So, this is the kind of place one would go to seek out tacos and Mexican and South American culinary gems. After perusing the menu I opted to go with the half chicken dinner and almost as an afterthought (or finally accepting that i needed a taco), I also ordered a spicy pork taco. The taco was good, but the real winner was the chicken dinner, especially considering it was about nine dollars. The chicken was well prepared, juicy and with a nice crust on the skin and came with shredded lettuce, radishes, pico de gallo, rice, refried beans, corn tortillas and a serrano pepper. I have often heard (and seen on a few T-shirts that the best taco shops are in some sketchy neighborhoods. This was a perfect example of such a place."
"This particular Chuy's is located in the Opry Mills shopping plaza in Nashville, Tennessee. Since it is such a large shopping plaza, parking is definitely not an issue. The atmosphere is eclectic and fun. The service was professional and friendly. The food is more Tex-Mex instead of Mexican. Pretty decent for a chain restaurant."
"I tried this place after hearing from others that it was very good. I love the fact that there's a drive through yet it's still taco truck style food. They have good birria tacos as well as good chips and queso. I look forward to going back to try the street tacos next time."
"Stopped in before Saturday's hockey game and the place was packed. The line moved slow at first but picked up quick. The staff was friendly and killed the rush.I had ordered the combo plate with Carnita and Chipotle chicken tacos at $14.While it's a little pricier than I like to pay for tacos that's everywhere now and not just here.Service was quick and the food was amazing. Definitely a go to when I want tacos in the area."
"This is my best friend's go to place and I can understand why! The food here is always solid, they are open late, and prices are extremely reasonable! We got started off with the free chips and salsa. The chips were warm and delicious! I decided to go with the Mexican street tacos on corn tortillas. They give you a choice of meats so I went with one chorizo and two carnitas. The chorizo was standard but the carnitas, WOW. I don't think I've ever had carnitas this soft! This came with a side of beans which was a huge amount. I definitely took food home, which was enough for another meal.If you're looking for your go-to Mexican place, look no further! Come here!"
"There's a lot of Mexican restaurants in this part of Nashville, but this is one of my favorites! This taqueria is a sit in restaurant. The ladies who work here are very attentive. I always get the quesabirria which is AMAZING but I tried their burrito this time and was highly satisfied. It came with a grilled jalapeño, lime, and grilled onions. All the food in the picture was just $25!!! It's located next to Fresh and Fresh market, which is nice because I can grab a good meal and do my grocery shopping in one trip."
