Japan House

This place was pretty good! I got the crab rangoon, chicken salad, and 2 rolls for $30. I love how the chicken came separately from the salad so if you weren't ready to eat it, nothing got soggy. The food was ready pretty quickly and it tasted yummy. The inside was a super cute walk up counter with a few tables to sit at if you decide to dine in.

Japan House is a small, local hibachi and sushi spot located on Long Hollow Pike in a small shopping plaza behind the Taco Bell. I was craving sushi and had a trip planned to the nearby Kroger, so Japan House was in the right place and served up the right stuff! I ordered a pick-up order via their site, which was a breeze. I ordered, set my pick-up time and the rest was history. I went with an order of chicken gyoza, one Yum Yum roll and a Spicy Tuna roll. My rolls and the gyoza were decent, but really were not anything to write home about. The gyoza was over cooked and I could taste the oil they were cooked in. My yum yum roll was a tad tough/over fried and my spicy tuna roll turned out to just be a tuna roll, no spicy. For the price, around $28 after tip and service fee, I will say the rolls were as expected. I did enjoy the fact that they have a whole drive thru/pick-up window! That is the first time I have ever gotten my sushi through a takeout window! Service at the window was great as she was friendly and kind. Overall, I liked Japan House enough to give them another try in the future. Maybe I got the wrong rolls...or maybe hibachi is their thing more than sushi? Either way, I will be back and hopefully can add a star or two.

Japan house is a weekly staple for my household as my picky eating wife is always in the mood for carry out hibachi. My go to is the chicken & filet combo add extra mushrooms to the veggies. I think we have had some sushi from here as well but it's not memorable. Not a bad price for the quantity of food you get & it's just as good as any sit down table service hibachi imho. Have to be careful when ordering on their site because often if you will pay for extra veggies and they will completely leave that veggie out of your order, which can be annoying. Otherwise this place is solid & quick.

Our go to Japanese place!! We love their sushi and hibachi meals. Service is always quick and friendly. The meals come out fresh every time! The best part is their sauce fridge where you can get any and as much sauce as you want.

Sushi is small compared with other sushi restaurants in this area. It could be compared to the sushi at Kroger or Publix.Most customers we saw were there for takeout although there are tables inside. Many fast dishes are available there as well. Nice interior but the restaurant is way back off the main road and not visible until you are right upon it. Very small kitchen area. The staff varies in friendliness from time to time.

Went in expecting a real hibachi, nope. You can order hibachi and they grill it in the kitchen. This is decent Japanese fast food if that's what your after. Good portions, fast, pleasant service and good prices. Just no real hibachi experience.

Food and service were excellent! Miso Soup had so much flavor and came out hot, not lukewarm. We tried the hibachi and sushi rolls-EXCELLENT!!!Highly recommend trying this place.

They never miss. Super consistent, reasonably priced, and fast. Definitely recommend.

Hibachi & sushi Japanhouse Goodlettsville. Hibachi was the best. Sushi was just OK. barely any fish. I give it an A grade. Fresh, affordable and nice.

Filet rice bowl with diddy juice and soy sauce is fire. Kept me alive when I was on the verge of starvation. Drove 9 hours to go there and it did not disappoint.
