IT'Z A Philly Thing

Always searching for a "true" Philly Cheesesteak and on the West side of Nashville there's a trailer called IT'Z A Philly Thing. The menu is not huge, but the flavors here more than make up for a smaller menu. I decided to try the appetizer 2-Cheeze Steak Egg Rolls...OMG these are exceptional. Honestly they are a meal in themselves and dipping them in the sauce provided is awesome. I opted for the Original Philly Cheeze Steak on a wonderful Amoroso Roll. You can modify the cheese along with the additional ingredients/toppings if you like and I went with the Original and added mushrooms. The sandwich was stuffed, the steak tender and flavorful, and while the Cheeze Wiz was a good option it's a bit salty for me and I go with Provolone next time. HOLY MOLY! The Philly cheese steak is to die for!!!! The bread is so soft and warm and the cheese and meat are just amazing. It truly left me speechless.

This is going to grind some gears but.... the philly cheesesteaks from Itz a Philly Thing were better than the ones I've tried in Philly. Philly Cheeze Steak- Really flavorful. Seasoned well. Bread was soft. Chicken Egg Roll & Beef Egg Roll- the exterior was perfectly crunchy while the inside was juicy and packed with flavor. I couldn't pick which one I prefered cause they were both really yummy.

Located in the parking lot near a Staples, this is a hidden gem that is not to be missed! The service is always so friendly, and the food comes out quickly and hot. I LOVE the chicken cheesesteak fries--a generous portion of fries topped with chicken, cheese, and toppings like bell pepper or banana peppers. It's addictive. As someone who has never had water ice before, I also highly recommend trying it, especially on a hot day. The pina colada flavor is my favorite, but it's also good combined with the passionfruit one. It's creamier than shaved ice somehow, but lighter than ice cream. On a warm day, the picnic benches in front of the place are nice for sitting and eating, but I usually take the food to go.

Been hearing great reviews and my first visit was underwhelming. Philly was way too salty and I think it was the Velveta. Fries okay, but food here is way overhyped.

Amazing! Perfect meat and bread and great wiz ratio. Loved the seasoned fries. It took longer than expected to come out and we saw a couple people pick up so probably smart to order ahead when possible

Ordered at 2:28pm, received half the order at 3:18pm 50 minutes later, and the other half five minutes after that. My order was wrong too - the water ice flavor was not what was ordered, and it was a size smaller as well. Nearly an hour to receive food is an atrocity, while seeing people who ordered after us get their food prioritized. No special requests or any reason it takes this long. Not really that busy, what kind of food truck takes nearly an hour to prepare food that should take a few minutes?The only reason this place has any success is because it's in Nashville. It wouldn't survive in Philly, trust me on that.

Love their cheesesteaks but they're rarely open. They are located in a small trailer by Staples in Bellevue. I know they have a food truck and travel but I wish they would keep the Bellevue location open more days or at least post consistent hours.
