They maintained the place well and service was good. They have a small buffet but I the food was tasty. It's good that they tried to maintain the flavors and not go crazy in the items count. I hope they keep the flavors the same and maintain them well for long time. I would definitely recommend this for now. I will update the review if they loose touch but the food we had was delicious."
"ok so haven't been getting out as much as i'd like due to possibly losing my day job...touch and go but we made it to aha for an evening with my better half and my # 2 daughter which is always a good time...so we went Indian!Ambiance:Sitting in a strip mall is never encouraging but honestly i have found over the years some really cool and great places. It was very modern but set up well with many decorations that made the ambiance ok despite the electronica music....Food:Good portions / main dishes were tasty for sure and rice was on point. Definitely tasty. we did try the Chapati bread as my wife has always wanted to have some since her trip to Africa however this was a wheat tortilla with butter ...make your own and don't order!Service:Hostess and server were nice but then the hostess manager came out and was very stand offish and not friendly at all...Price:Average - not super pricy but not cheap either - you will pay $15 or more per dish...Summary:if your in Spring Hill you will enjoy this and have a good experience of you get the right server....Keep Munching!!!"
"Very beautiful restaurant. Wooded interior & exterior, very clean place. Very accessible and convenient parking from Petro.I read the reviews and ordered a little spicy than medium, bcuz the reviews said they make it mild if you ask for medium - is not correct. Order medium if you want medium. Food taste amazing. The butter chicken was great. Rotis were nice and soft as well."
"Who knew that the best pizza was right under my nose here in Brentwood! And add an Indian restaurant no less. Ordered some margarita pizza here on a whim one night. Service was fast, pizza was ready for takeout in 10 minutes, it was hot and delicious. The sauce is nice and sweet and the mozzarella and basil or high-quality. The crust is perfection. Skip Papa John's and Domino's, the best pizza in Brentwood is right here."
"Easily the best Indian restaurant closest to Hendersonville that I have tried. The menu had some hilarious misspellings, but they unfortunately scratched them out in the menus we had the last time. It was always fun to see them Service is always great. They are super friendly and attentive. Always willing to give a suggestion.Garlic Naan: I cannot order enough. I'm addicted and you will be too!Chicken Tikka Masala: So good. The portion is always huge, easy to share. I won't share but maybe you are a better person than I am. I always get it mild and they actually keep it mild. The dish is so flavorful and perfectly balanced.I honestly should eat here more often. Definitely give this place a try!"
"This Indian restaurant offers delicious food and a lunch buffet that looks amazing. Although I could only try one item from the buffet, my husband said everything on it was delicious. Instead, I ordered the garden vegetable and mango dish from the menu, which was incredibly tasty and perfectly spiced. The service was excellent, with frequent water refills and quick plate clearing. The restaurant is nicely decorated in an Indian style, and the music added to the enjoyable atmosphere. The only downside was the challenging parking in front, but there might be more parking available at the back. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for its tasty food and great service."
"This spot is high on my list of places to eat inside the Nashville Farmers Market.I went with the samosas, veggie rice, chili chicken and the chicken tikka masala. This food here is amazing and the portions are generous. The veggie rice isn't spicy at all, which I'm thankful for because the rest of the meal had some heat! The chili chicken was sooo good, I could have eaten a bucket of this stuff. Deep flavors, tender chicken and good heat without the burn. The tikka masala was a classic choice and it did have a tiny bit of heat even though the meat had zero chilis next to it on the menu. The samosas here are huge and totally worth the money. You get two for about $5 and these could easily be a meal... well maybe a shareable appetizer? These are a great vegetarian option. Looking for some good Indian food for lunch? Don't sleep on Swagruha!"
"How on earth can food be this good?!Well, all the reviews I read beforehand were stellar, so I didn't have a choice but to check this place out for dinner. Turns out y'all were right - this place is amazing! Inside is super clean, the servers were so friendly and helpful and kept checking in, and the food was just phenomenal! I was told my food would take about twenty minutes, but everything came out in maybe five.I really enjoyed the Chilli Gobi (low spice); the texture is like, chewy? But really good. For my main, I got the Mushroom Chettinad (mild), which is probably the greatest curry I've ever had in my life!! Incredible. And with Garlic Naan? Yessssss, please. Best Indian restaurant I've been to. I was proud of myself for taking home some leftovers, but this barely made it to breakfast. Still amazing day 2."

If you haven't dined at this one of kind in the Nashville area Indian Cuisine, you're missing out! Curry House is a very authentic Indian restaurant with a great All you Can Eat Lunch Buffet in the Publix plaza off Sam Ridley. As someone with some indian family members and having grown up in the northeast, this Indian food is top notch, but it doesn't stop there, the owner who is here almost every single day is an amazing guy! The service and atmosphere is great!Food places can have good food, but without good service, it isn't a 5 star establishment. This place exceeds every star! Thanks!

Excellent choice if you are looking for a good Indian restaurant. Service was on point.. very friendly and helpful. Good came out fast and fresh. Samosas were a great way to start the meal. Great blend of spices and the dipping sauces added an extra kick. The main course of vindaloo and aloo gobi were also excellent. The flavors were outstanding and the portions were perfect. We will definitely be back.

Strike it rich at Golden! It is said the Indians revere gold and for good reason. Their cuisine meets the gold standard.I crept in on a late Saturday morning. Surmounting some language barriers, I ordered the Garlic Naan, Aboo Ghobi Masala, and pistachio ice cream. The Garlic naan was made fresh and was crisp and blackened with biting garlic flavor. An excellent start. The Aboo Ghobi was in a thick and sweet onion base. The onion was strongly represented. The cauliflower and potato, though more sparse, provided the coherence and meatiness to the dish. The Indian ice cream came early during the middle of my meal. It held together by dessert time and was triangular in shape. It was grainy and dry textured with bouts of sweetness. The dish portions are larger and more conducive towards group eating and sharing. All in all, a flavorful and hearty dining experience.
Visit Restaurant Page"I've dined at many South Indian vegetarian restaurants that were very much out in the sticks and offered a marginal dine-in experience, but this one was in an urban locale not far from Vanderbilt and a nice enough place to dine in. It was not crowded when I arrived, but large groups began arriving by the time I was finished. The sort of cuisine they offer goes beyond the average Indian restaurants and includes various lentil-based specialties. I deferred on getting a dosa (crepe) and instead got an ildi appetizer (steamed rice and lentil cakes) and the channa bhatura, which was labeled as a house special. My idli came in a set of three, with a tasty soup and a coconut chutney that wasn't as flavorful. The bhatura is a fried bread and theirs is one of the largest I've seen. It arrives puffed up at around the size of half of a basketball, though you'll deflate it quickly in the process of eating. The accompanying chickpea curry was spicy, but not overwhelmingly so, and teeming with flavor. I wished it had come with a few more accoutrements (onions, fried chili peppers, yogurt, or mixed pickle are common inclusions for this sort of thing). I had a chai unsweetened, which was fine but nothing special. And overall, it was good food and one of the few places you're likely to see this cuisine in the region, but not the best I've ever had."
"Great food! Went at 5pm on a weekday and was seated fast and received food only 10 minutes after ordering. I was very satisfied with the chicken biryani, which had an entire seasoned chicken leg in it! Yum! The garlic naan was very flavorful and the butter chicken gravy was also great. Love how the interior of the restaurant looks too."
"Had been really looking forward to a first chance to try Bayleaf, and ended up a little disappointed. Chicken Tikka - the sauce had a nice flavor, and ordering spicy was a really perfect level of heat for me. But in a pretty good sized bowl there were only 3 small bites of chicken and a few pieces of onion. It was literally all sauce. Perhaps they're trying to keep prices lower. Just know when you order, you're really ordering a nicely flavored sauce to pour on some rice and naan. The Chicken 65 was fun small pieces of seasoned fried chicken. By itself, ordered medium, it was pretty bland. But tossing some of the 65 into the tikka really helped fill out the tikka, so all in all the two dishes worked out. Chicken briyani got a very good review, a huge portion that made for a big dinner and a large lunch the next day. Naan made a good addition to both the tikki and biryani. Overall we won't rush to revisit, but giving them a benefit of an extra star because they're clearly the best Indian in Spring Hill."
"Excellent choice! Our first visit and it's a new favorite! We loved the 4 dishes we ordered and the service was outstanding! We couldn't have enjoyed a family dinner more. Food-5 star Food was quick and delicious-all levels of spiciness are available. My favorites were the butter chicken and lamb vindaloo. The garlic naan was done just right -hot but not dried out. The rice pudding was a perfect end to a great dinner. Service -wish I could give more than 5 stars ! Unbelievably helpful with our choices, all levels of spiciness available. The manager and staff made the whole evening an exceptional experience. Facility 5 - clean, neat, plenty of space, tables and booths available, cloth napkins, adequate parking in front lot Location 5 star -easy to find in a busy shopping area, We will plan to return when we are in town again."
"We went for a much needed special lunch. The food was very tasty. It was bursting with flavor and not overly hot. The service was good. They filled our water and the food was fast. The bread appetizer was delicious. It was great to go into an air conditioned place. Well decorated too. I'm not sure about parking because we walked over. We brought our leftovers home and I can't wait until tomorrow to eat them."
"It's the day before thanksgiving so of course no one wants to cook. Sister suggested Indian food claiming she knew a great spot that was the Best of India. I thought there's no way it's the best of India since we're in Nashville until she informed that's literally the name of the place. Since we were in the east side of Nashville and the place is on the west side, you do what people do these days: UberEats. So we did a large order and got home right after it was delivered and dug in after making everything presentable. We ordered the following:Rice Kuba (Excellent!)Chicken Samosa (OK)Garlic Naan (OK)Fish Curry (Good)Lamb Curry (Excellent!)Chicken 65 (Excellent!)Veggie Tikka Masala (Good)Obviously the Rice Kuba, Lamb Curry and Chicken 65 were the winners here. The Rice Kuba is filled with a rice/beef filling and then flash fried; drown it in that cilantro dressing, H@@@@ALSLDHG!!!!!! Lamb Curry we ordered very spicy which kicked our taste buds; yet we couldn't stop eating it. Chicken 65 had great texture and complimented with the sauteed onions. Fish Curry is salmon-based and the salmon was tender although the curry sauce wasn't at the level as the lamb curry. The Veggie Tikka Masala was solid. The Samosa and Garlic Naan were the same as any other indian place; serviceable but not over the top.So it's not the best Indian food I've had but very good and left a good impression. If this is the best of Nashville, they may need some competition in the area but it's nice to know there's a deliverable option within my family's Nashville residence should we get a hankering for Indian cuisine. Definitely better than cooking before the turkey day!"
"The food is out of this world, so good! The service was fantastic and I cannot wait to go back. They have so many items on the menu. I'm telling all my friends about this place. Almost everything we got had a spicy kick to it, so I recommend trying one of their delicious milkshakes to pair with your meal to help cut the heat. You have to try one of their pizzas, they are a yummy take on Indian food all packed into a personal pie. If you're stumped on what to get, you can always ask since the staff is great at making recommendations based on your tastes. The shop is a quiet place with parking in the back. This is a great place to check out with friends or a date."
"We came in on Sunday for dinner right when the restaurant opened up at 5pm. We weren't even greeted as the servers were preparing the tables and putting the curtain up in the buffet area. They just told us to grab the first booth. We grabbed a menu ourself and got seated. We ordered Garlic Naan, Vege Korma, Idly, Masala Dosa. Everything was delicious, at the right spice level. Customer service was lacking though, as the servers weren't smiling or friendly. They brought everything what we asked though. Still giving five stars based on the food only not on the customer service."
"The food was really good!! Especially enjoyed the okra dish. I feel like anything here would be good.. loved the butter naan as well. We got there right at 5pm when they opened & they quickly got slammed. The restaurant was packed. I'm guessing because it was on the Yelp Too 100 a lot of people are wanting to check it out now. So while we did get seated immediately we did wait on our food awhile so go when u have time."
"Saffron is a great place to grab restaurant-quality Indian food that's ready in just a few minutes! The staff here are super efficient and friendly, and the food has always been excellent. I've gotten the chicken korma bowl several times, which is flavorful and authentic. Their naan is also great, as are the vegetarian samosas! Saffron is located in Assembly Hall, which has a huge variety of great places to eat. Go check it out!"
"This is a South Indian restaurant that offers an extensive menu. Signage stated that the owners were opening up a fast food and ice cream place as well. For anyone new to the cuisine, it's not hard to find something satisfying. For someone who does know what they're getting, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better Indian place in Tennessee than this. While nothing fancy, the strip mall location was well decorated and had plenty of seating and plenty of people working there.Spoiled for choice, I went with a mulligatawny soup (the name means something like "pepper water") which was a proper soup with ample lentils, a rich savory flavor, and a bit of rice and some fresh garnishes on top to make every bite interesting. My chikoo milkshake (some sort of melon I think) was addictive. The main dish I ordered-chole bhatura-was actually a slight disappointment as the bhatura can be a giant fried bread that puffs up and looks like about half a basketball, but here they gave me a bunch of little ones. While less impressive to look at, they delivered on taste, with a vigorous tomato-onion chickpea curry clashing beautifully with the fresh bread. It took time to cook these things, but it was nothing crazy and the freshness was worth the wait.I would note that while they had vegan items marked, the dosai are apparently not among them (butter I assume), but for those who can eat them, they're likely impressive."
"Highly, HIGHLY recommend Tandoor Indian Restaurant if you're looking for tasty Indian cuisine in the area!My family and I arrived early and waited for them to open for dinner service. Surprisingly there was another family that were seated before us even though we only arrived maybe 5-10 minutes after they opened. That was a good sign to me that maybe they're a decent spot. Our server (forgot his name) was very attentive and made sure to come and check on us often. Although, I will say it was a little difficult to understand what he was saying at times since he had a thick accent. But we managed. The food was definitely 5 star for us. My husband and I ordered the vegetable samosas, chicken tiki masala and garlic naan to share for our dinner. Everything was delicious and piping hot from the kitchen. We got medium spice on our curry and it had just the right amount of kick to it.The only negative I will mention is that it was pretty warm in the restaurant. But that may be because we arrived almost right as they opened so maybe the AC was still kicking in. Other than that everything else during our experience, food and service, was five star! Will definitely be back for more!"
"Very convenient delivery and takeout services utilizing a locker pickup system for easy access and quick pickup. Plenty of parking onsite for pickup as well. The food itself was delicious! I got the butter bliss chicken bowl (pictured). It was so good with rich flavors. Will order from again!"
"I had some wonderful meals in Nashville, and this one might have been the best, or at least tied for it (seriously, Nashville, y'all crushed it on the food front)! Top end Indian cuisine served in a modern yet comfortable atmosphere, and service that could not have been more pleasant and prompt without being overbearing. Nailed it!I came for lunch with this place highly recommended by Nashville's Yelp community manager, and that was an excellent decision. First, an appetizer of pani puri, which is one of my new favorite interactive apps. This came with 6 crunchy pastries to fill, and 3 juices to do it with, all delicious and interactive. At lunch, they offer an all you can eat thali platter, and wow... this is my new favorite way to eat Indian food, even above a buffet as it is a little more sanitary and you consistently are getting fresh food. For those unfamiliar, a thali platter is like Indian tapas. You get a little bit of a variety of things, and who doesn't like that? The offerings vary daily on chef's selection. While we were there, it had three proteins (a vegetarian thali is available), chicken 65, butter chicken, and a sweet chili chicken of some kind. All wonderful on both texture and taste, I particularly liked the chicken served on the bone. You then had a selection of sides, rice, naan, and a small dessert. If you want more of anything, you have but to ask. Wow. I love it!I didn't expect to have one of my top 5 Indian experiences while I was in Nashville, but here I am! I definitely recommend Jashan to anyone for any reason, especially for a business lunch, date, or when you want to get full on fabulous food!"
"Another awesome Indian spot in the Nashville area. Tasty tucked away spot with a unique feel. Nice large variety of items without being overwhelming. The dessert case is also very bright and tempting haha. The sambusas were excellent as was the goat vindaloo. The naan was extremely soft and flaky, a wonderful companion to the saucy entree."
"I finally got to introduce my boyfriend to Indian food! This was just the place. It was busy the whole time we were there (weeknight), both at the tables and with people grabbing to-go orders. The Chai was hot (really hot-we both added ice from our water), but once it cooled down was very good. It was served light, so either they added some kind of creamer or used a powder mix, but it wasn't sweet so that was good. They brought out sugar with it to add your own sweetness. Veggie Samosas - we had to get these, and I'm glad we did! They were really good, had nice flavor, and the sauces were great, too. He tried the Butter Chicken - it was mild and he liked it though even mild he thought was right on the cusp of being spicy (we had different opinions on that - I thought it was definitely mild) but we both really liked it. It reminded me of an Indian vodka sauce, maybe? Very rich and really filling.I had the Navataran Koorma (Veggie curry) and that was lovely. Mine was medium heat and that's about where I'm good; it still has all the flavor and it takes a few minutes for my nose to realize what's happening hahaGarlic Naan was amazing, and we got some butter naan to go. (FYI-It reheated well in our air fryer!)"
"My husband and I live in South Nashville and we have been wanting the convenience of an Indian restaurant close to us. The recently opened Curry & Tikka made us so happy to see! They are located in the Kroger shopping center on S. Thompson and there is plenty of parking. We went for dinner on a weekend and although it was slow when we first got there earlier in the evening it started to pick up. We saw many people poking their head in the door and checking this spot out. Our favorites of the evening were the Afghani murgh tikka which are bone-in chicken wings and the chicken tikka masala with naan. We also really enjoyed the naanza and the paani puri/dahi puri. The owners are so sweet and we enjoyed speaking to them. They are really passionate about the food which is evident. We can't wait to come back."
"Loved this restaurant! The service was quick and the food was great. I would highly recommend going here. I loved the large selection of items to choose from, not just your standard butter chicken and tikka masala. Honestly, the tikka masala was my least favorite. I loved the green chili chicken (can't remember the name of the dish) and the mango chicken. Would recommend sharing the mango chicken and pairing it with another savory dish because it was quite sweet. The chili chicken was cooked perfectly. Spice level here is on par with the culture. If you don't like things hot, get the mild. Medium was great for me because I like some spicy, but anything more than that would have been too much I think. Their chutneys were great too. 10/10 would recommend."
"Went to tailor for a special occasion (wedding anniversary) and it was special! Fantastic service, great food and ambiance, and a unique experience. The chef walks through the menu and everyone eats at the same dish at the same time (kinda like we are all dining together in a sense).Oddly my favorite was the tomato sandwich - so good! Least favorite was the eggplant dish but still good overall.Knocked off one star just because I can't really see myself going here frequently. It's pricey and although I understand they are trying to go for that Michelin star feel I think a few more dishes need to be added for the price for me to want it to back one a season (for now I see myself going here like once every other year maybe, just to try new dishes as they continue to grow."
"Generally, when my dad tells me an Indian restaurant is quite good, it's always worth putting on my to-try list, and my visits to 615 Chutney have proven him yet again right. Despite the rise of good Indian food in the greater Nashville area, there aren't many South Indian places, and, being South Indian myself, I was eager to try this place. Have had a few visits to this place - once for the lunch buffet, a few times for dinner. It's a very different concept than other Indian restaurants. Focusing mostly on South Indian food (think idli, vada, dosa, avial, more vegetarian options but not a fully vegetarian menu), featuring a buffet for lunch and traditional menu for dinner with live music and phone ordering / a robot that delivers your orders, this is just a very fun and social concept compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. My parents love coming here with a big group of friends and ordering most of the vegetarian items on the menu for a fun and unique night out. Some favorites for us are the chana masala, the mixed vegetable curry, the layered kothu paratha, the poori (which was HUGE) and chai. We also thought the Frankie's 615 (like an Indian taco in a wheat flatbread) were really fun and unique compared to other Indian menus we have seen in the area. All around, this is a great addition of a for an Indian restaurant for the area and a win for South Indians looking for decent food in the area. It's also more than just a takeout Indian place, but has a fun ambiance and live music and is a unique night out for those looking for something a bit different."
"Butter Masala [with chicken] was perfectly seasoned and the requested chicken breast [in the Door Dash app] was tender and palatable. I like when a business allows modifications and changes to your liking. They really paid attention to the spice level as well. In my old age, I'm veering away from too-spicy foods and this one was just right. The dish also came with a fair amount of rice, though it was a stretch to share just one between two people. The Butter Masala was tomatoey, with thick gravy and the chicken breast was cooked in the tandoor oven. There were no hiccups in this order, smooth order through delivery...and fast! Will be returning soon!"
