"Great spot! I love how they had a wine tasting as soon as I walked in, I got to samples one white and one red. It was pretty quiet when I came in, which is fine by me! I loved their menu and now they give wine pairing suggestions with the foods. The bartender was super nice! I went with the Zinfandel with the duck tacos. The tacos were okay - a little dry to me, but I added some sauce and that did the trick! The Zinfandel was okay, little jammy for my liking! I switched to the Riesling and that worked better for me. Nice ambiance - a lot of people were there because it's connected to a convention center - looks like they get some amazing acts! I had a very pleasant dinner!"
"We had never been to Firebirds before so we didn't know what to expect. So I decided to take my wife to Firebirds. Parking:The parking was absolutely horrible I wish there were dedicated spots specifically for this restaurant because it's connected with other business, BUT I have to be clear even though the parking sucked this does not take away the experience we had nor does it take away the five stars I'm giving it. Atmosphere When you walk in the lights were deemed which I absolutely loved. This gives off the ultimate Valentines Day Experience in my opinion. You could also smell the many different flavors of food they were preparing so my eye were wide open excited ready to look at the menu and taste one of the many different flavors I was smelling. Customer Service The customer service was absolutely amazing. Everyone was very friendly. FoodThe food I ordered was the Tomahawk Porkchop with fries. This food was absolutely amazing. At first the got my chop at medium well but they quickly resolved it by giving me another one. They apologized about it. I informed them that it wasn't a big deal because I understood they were extremely busy. This wasn't an issue to me because they resolved it and very friendly. Once I got my food though everything was great. The food was the exact flavor I was smelling. The food was good. The customer service was good. It was a win win a minus the parking. Total for my chop and fries were28.99 before taxes. We will be back!"

"We came here for the Beetlejuice pop up Speakeasy. It's going for September to 31 October 2024. Perfect timing for the new Beetlejuice movie! There was about a 30 minute wait, which wasn't bad because we had time to sit at the bar at the Makeready and try a couple of their craft cocktails. The Beetlejuice pop up was everything I'd hoped it would be!! The drinks are outrageously expensive, but it is all for the experience. Warning, don't steel their tiki glasses or you will get charged $100. Apparently everyone was stealing their glasses. The scenery was like something straight from the other side!"
"It's an experience! We had our 10th wedding anniversary dinner here. It's a set seasonal menu, we are vegetarians so they modified their dishes accordingly. Cocktails are average. Starters were amazing (Focaccia and lemon risotto cake were amazing). It's a whole 3 h experience, and multiple rounds of food keeps coming. Dessert is cannoli which is average and Zeppole. It's also unique in that the whole restaurant starts dancing in the middle of the dinner. And the chef's concept is dinner as a big family like Italian families. Overall really nice experience."

Went there for the ABBA Fabulous Brunch and it was...FABULOUS! The staff was great and their system to seat everyone is fantastic! We reserved a table in the second row and it was great. Very close to the stage! Neon Queen was fun and mixed in some fun songs with the ABBA songs.Brunch had lots of options and was pretty good. I will say it was a 2-3 star for the wine bottle we selected. It was one of the City Winery Pinot Noir and it was meh! Despite the wine, the venue is great to watch a show and it was a lot of fun! Wish I remembered our servers name because she was a Rockstar!

After a long morning of meetings and missing my flight I had 4 hours to waste before my next flight. I found Firebirds on Yelp and the pictures looked good so I decided to give them a try. I was seated immediately but it took about 10 minutes for my waitress to acknowledge I was seated. There were no other customers near me so maybe she didn't realize they had seated me in her section. I only realized how long I was waiting when I reread an email I had sent when I first sat down. My waitress was not very friendly and didn't offer anything beyond saying ok. My food came out quickly but the fish lacked flavor. The sauce was ok but the actual fish was bland. The baked potato was good but it's hard to mess up a potato. Overall my experience was not worth the price and I won't be back.

Review #1400! Makeready L&L is a gorgeous spot located at the base of the beautiful Noelle Hotel in downtown Nashville. You can get to Makeready through the main hotel entrance, or via a dedicated entrance on 4th Avenue. We popped in for pre-dinner cocktails and appetizers, and were lucky enough to grab a few spots at the small, but mighty bar. Here we ordered a couple of cocktails and glasses of wine, paired with the Beef and Pork Meatballs. We were lucky enough to come by during happy hour, so our wine, cocktail and meatballs were all discounted! The meatballs were served over a bed of creamy polenta and were delightfully perfect for our appetizer. The space is cozy, decor is timeless and the vibe is great. There are several different seating options from the bar to high tops, standard tables and even lounge style seating. Service was friendly from the hostess stand to the bartender and food runner. Overall, while we did not experience the full gamut of offerings at Makeready, we did enjoy what we did experience...enough to come back for sure!

Great food and a fun atmosphere summarize Manigia. We went on a Saturday night with their fixed price menu and evening of music, singing and some group dancing. It was like going to an Italian wedding....a lot of fun.And the food was excellent....plenty of food prepared excellently including two appetizers, two pasta dishes and two meat entrees....all very well preparedHighly recommended!

Named after the famous and vast market of Barcelona, Boqueria is a small chain aiming to bring a fun tapas experience to the US. As one of the ten locations in the US, Boqueria originated in the Flatiron district of NYC and successfully replicated the model across the country. Certainly, the market for tapas has gotten a lot more mature and selective since the NYC debut. If there is a standout dish at the restaurant, it is undoubtedly the lamb skewers. Loaded up with flavor of the meat, perfectly balanced by pickled onions and cooked to a delicate texture, it's a remarkable preparation that's worth every penny. The garlic shrimp are an ok dish, not particularly fresh or flavorful, but spicy. The amount of bread served throughout the meal felt a bit on the extreme side, but the bread is spectacular. Brussels spouts are pleasant, yet largely unremarkable. They don't need to be either. Service is attentive. As a whole, a great restaurant to grab tapas.

I came in here for dinner before heading to the Cheekwood and loved the relaxing atmosphere and classy decor. They have a wide selection of different wines that you can scroll through on an iPad.Their bar area is very quaint and beautiful.Food wise, the prices are up there, but the quality is amazing. I ordered the sautee salmon while my husband ordered the braised lamb ragout.Loved my salmon that was cooked perfectly. The lamb ragout was also on point. We also got the French onion soup as a starter. It was delicious. The Brussel sprouts as a side was perfectly crisp and seasoned. The espresso and mini French press for after dinner really tied everything together. Overall, the customer service was very attentive, atmosphere comfortable, classy and relaxing, and the food was on point. The prices are up there but worth the experience.

I've been waiting for a special occasion to write up my favorite bar in Nashville and their two-year anniversary seemed like the perfect opportunity! The only place to get an alcoholic beverage in the micro food hall known as the Wash, Bay 6 markets itself as an "Izakaya-ish" bar (ie the design is supposed to be small, intimate, casual but a great place for hanging out / having good times). It is all of those things and more. With a seasonally-updated menu arranged by flavor that comes with the most beautiful and very helpful hand-drawn pictures of drinks (and often funny, inventive names for drinks), Bay 6 makes it incredibly easy to choose a beverage you'll really want to enjoy. They make all of their syrups/cordials in house and everything tastes so FRESH here that it's made it hard for me to want to get a drink anywhere else. Bay 6 is known for inventive, bordering on Asian-influenced flavors and I've truly some of the most interesting drinks of my life here. My all-time favorite drink they make (the Jackie Daytona) involves ingredients I never would have thought belong in a drink (carrot cordial, fernet, Coca Cola), but is so perfectly balanced and flavorful, it just really showcases the skills of the bartenders here. One of my favorite things about this bar is the rotating specialty spirits it always has. I've tried some of the most interesting amaro's and love that they absolutely pay attention to all the unique notes of a spirit before designing a drink around that spirit. Such a great place to try and learn about something new!If alcohol isn't your thing, this is also my favorite bar to get a non-alcoholic beverage, since it has such a wide range of tasty options including inventive mocktails, NA beer, my favorite NA amaro soda, local kombucha, or a bartender's choice mocktail. I spent almost a year not drinking and still really loved coming here because I always knew I had tasty options I could enjoy.Lastly, it's hard not to talk about Bay 6 without mentioning how amazing the people who work here are. It's more than incredible service, the whole crew at Bay 6 makes this such a fun and welcoming atmosphere to hang out in. My favorite place to come read a book be have a drink and be alone OR my favorite place to come with a friend or my dog and chat with other patrons or the bartender: there is always just a pleasant, very chill atmosphere. You can sit inside and order food from another Wash eatery and have it brought to you at your seat or get a drink to go and eat on the patio. Bay 6 hosts lots of fun events with drink specials throughout the week, my favorite of which happens Tuesday nights when they cover the bar in drawing paper, provide a plethora of colored pencils and allow you to unleash your inner Bob Ross. I am usually able to find parking on the street when I come here, but occasionally (during bad weather) splurge on the pretty cheap, closer paid options. My friends who live nearby also recommend parking across the street near the OTF lot.Overall a total gem a hangout place and Nashville is so lucky to have Beau and team bringing such great flavors and execution to the drink scene here!

"This is a nice restaurant, the staff were friendly and it was clean. I absolutely loved my drinks and the lamb skewers. I recommend and will return when I come again."
"I'm so lucky that I live close to this fantastic restaurant! I've only been here twice, as it's a bit pricey, but so worth it. Let's talk menu items: I was here recently and shared the gazpacho. Fresh. Creamy. Fantastic. On this same visit my date had the duck breast, which I tried, and was great. That said, I think I win because I ordered the lobster ravioli (sans egg, I don't eat egg) and it was summer camp write home to mom and dad worthy. Like wow! The sweet chili, the curry flavors, the creaminess, I don't know how to adequately describe to you, aside from telling you that you need to eat and experience this dish for yourself.Staff is masked up and safe. Patrons are perfectly separated for safety. Great location with a huge parking lot. Phenomenal wine and cocktail list if that's your thing.I will be back whether I live close or not. This place is good. Please experience it for yourself!"
"Great, tiny little bar. Seats maybe 12 people. LOVE how the menu is laid out by flavor profile. Tons of cocktail options, including frozen drinks. A few beer options. Great place if in the area for a meal. Pro tip: you can have your food delivered here from the other places while you sit in the AC and drink your cocktail."
