I have been seeing this restaurant Bonfire Mongolian Grill in Mt. Juliet for several months and kept meaning to check it out. The greatest disservice I've done is waiting so long to check it out. I loved it. So they are a duel style restaurant, serving both hibachi style and Mongolian style. Mongolian style is a stir fry dish where meat and vegetables are cooked on a giant, round, solid iron griddle. The lunch special was definitely the move where you can order a medium bowl for $8.95. You pick your base; mine was lo mein noodles, then you add your protein. Now this is where my waiter gave me the tip of loading my bowl with veggies 1st then topping off with as much protein as I could fit.I definitely enjoy the lunch special, and have already been back a 2nd time. The fact that I am in control of what I'm eating, how sweet or spicy it is, and portion control is all up to me (keep in mind im stuffing as much as I can in that bowl, soi can have leftovers, which is very easily done, especially if you get an appetizer) is all very appealing to me. They have different protein options, including chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, crab, cajun chicken. Plenty of veggies to chooses from, and even a variety of sauces to add to your stir fry creation.

This place was not like other Bonfire locations I've been to. Unfortunately they went for serving cheap fatty beef instead of quality beef. I think they will be closing very soon. The place was almost empty at lunchtime. It's a real shame, because this could be a great Mongolian beef location!

There are two options here, and it seems the restaurant functions almost like two separate spaces. When you first walk in, you will be greeted at the front counter and offered whether or not to sit on the Mongolian side or the Hibachi side.I will have to admit a little bit of agreeance with several other comments: If you're going for Mongolian, expect the average, nothing special. The wife and I have been a couple times quite a while ago for Mongolian bowls and while we left full, weren't overly impressed either. However, we opted just recently to visit their Hibachi, and had a completely different experience! The waitstaff on that side seemed a bit more patient and willing to discuss options, etc. We got our drinks and appetizer (the fried green beans - pass on these, they're bland) and discussed what options we wanted for our entrees. When the Hibachi master came out, it was your typical hibachi show, but still very fun nonetheless. He was friendly, jovial, and seemed to enjoy what he was doing (the egg in the hat trick, the stacked onion flames, "butterfly" jokes and catch-the-food-in-your-mouth tricks). We had fun throughout the cooking process, tried the "Spicy Fried Rice," which was delicious and the only way to go, and watched as our meats and veggies were cooked.Their starting broth soup was actually very tasty, however the wife noted she did not enjoy her "salad" which amassed to only lettuce and few small carrots. Nothing else. The sauces they offered were plentiful and quite good. The teriyaki and spicy sauces were superb, while the yum-yum sauce was just ok.At the end of the day though, we opted for the filet mignon and chicken entree, which we split, and ordered extra rice and veggies. It was MORE than enough food to share, and the steak was extremely good!We will definitely go again and look forward to it until we do!

We had a great time at Bonfire! We were a party of 6 and ate hibachi. The only reason we had a wait was so that the entire party could arrive and sit together. We had reservations too. Super entertaining. I had steak and salmon. I also had the bonfire for 2 (but I drank it myself). The yum yum sauce was amazing. I had plenty left over (and it was just as amazing the next day). I can't wait to go back.

Walked in/ Walked outFrom being welcomed by offer of Mongolian or steakhouse, to finding out they only had Mongolian (why did they offer a choice if there is none), to cashier licking her fingers then handing menus to host, to filthy floors and booths, to ripped up booth with foam gaping and collecting debris that host wanted to seat me at, to him looking befuddled when I said no and asked for another seat...enough said. These first time patrons will never be back.

I stoped here to avoid the traffic in Mt.Juliet during rush hour. Overall I liked the concept. I happened to come during happy hour and they had $2 bottle beers. Therefore, I was a happy camper!! I chose the Mongolian Grill. The options were plentiful on the bar to create your own bowl. However, the size of the bowl you're given to create your bowl is too small and not true to size. I could barely fit my items in the bowl. The bowl sizes definitely need to be changed here.

Woe unto you who dares to go here.Mongolian bar was messy with food Sprayed everything.raw chicken and seafood left out in the open air.Waitress did not want to be there and did a really poor job .She did not give my wife the complimentary soup and salad. When we asked she said I did not feel like it (giving to us)I will not go back and I feel it was a true waist of hard earned money

3 and a half. You can either choose hibachi style or Mongolian style. For the Mongolian style, it is just like genghis grill if you've ever been there. You fill out your card and of what you'd like, such as steamed rice, fried rice, noodles, etc. the server then brings you the bowl that you chose, and The lunch bowl was like, $8.50, then you go up to the bar and just fill your bowl up for as much as you can. There's chicken, beef, shrimps, and veggies for you to choose from. You pile as much as you can in the bowl. You also pick the sauce that you'd like to go in it. When it's done, the server brings you out your food. Theres outdoor seating available, along with beer also. The customer service since we walked in, was just ok.

Sayonara Bonfire. Haven't been in over a month and decided to stop by and get our $8.50 bowl for lunch. WHERE'S MY $8.50 BOWL!. I realize prices must increase to remain viable, but one expects a gradual increase, but to go from $8.50 to $10.95!? They changed the menu to allow you to choose one of four different size bowls - small, ($8.95 or full dinner at Logan's) regular (their former $8.50 bowl which is now $10.95 or full dinner at Cheddar's). Large for $12.95 or full dinner at O'Charleys with free pie on Wednesday) and then there is the Ginormous for $14.95 or full dinner just about anywhere else. This was Sunday and I verified that was lunch price. Not sure about dinner. Won't be back cause I'm cheap. Oh, we didn't stay once we saw the price increase. Just got up and left.
