"Best Mexican food around. Fast friendly service. My favorite is the white cheese and the taco salad. We have been coming here for years and are always pleased with service and food."
"Definitively, the friendliest service of any brewery I visited in Nashville! (protip: it's walking distance to the brewery with the best ambiance: Fait La Force Brewing)The guy working the taps was super cool and, unlike some other breweries (Living Waters) that have draconian rules against samples, they are ENCOURAGED here.It didn't seem like they specialized in any particular type of beer but they had lots of fizzy, yellow, hoppy beers which are what I like! Bonus points for using some very new, cutting-edge hop strains! They had a spicy chicken sandwich food truck outside, I was pretty bummed that I already ate.Come here for friendly gab and generous sampling!"

"I had the burger and it was great. The bbq sauce is sweet but not a detractor at all with the saltiness of the bacon. I wish they had fries as I'm not a chip fan but I ate of the house made chips. We shared the bacon wrapped pimento cheese stuffed jalapeños and OMG you have to get those. My wife had the build you own grilled cheese with avocado with the soup of the day which was a pepperoni pizza soup both of which were great.I now see why Chef Maneet brought Guy here for DDD."
"Finally made my way to East Side Banh Mi (sadly took me four years!). They recently updated their interior and it's so pretty inside, with booth seating as well as barstools along their glass windows. There's parking in front of the restaurant but I parked on the street for ease (free street parking FTW!). Decided to try their seasonal limeade which was blood orange. This drink was incredible! Refreshing and delicious! A true 10/10! I also got the shrimp spring rolls, which were really fresh but didn't wow me. The banh mi though, was INCREDIBLE! One of the best I've had outside of Vietnam. I tried the pork but want to order the steak next time. My other favorites were the sweet potatoes, which come with a delicious peanut dipping sauce. Don't skip the chocolate chip cookie, either! I got one to go and it was a damn near perfect cookie. Slightly crispy on the outside, slightly salted. So good!I can't wait to go back and see the great staff, who made sure I was well taken care of during my visit!"
"AMAZING burgers and sweet potato fries. I had the burger of the day which was when in roam. It had chipotle pimento cheese, American cheese, sweet jalapeños and crispy fried onions. The flavors were amazing!I could eat a burger from here everyday! We finished our meal with fried Oreos .... omg so delicious! Great little atmosphere with the cutest best server, Lauren! We will be back!!"
"WOW this pizza is excellent! The inside is so cute too, branding is really on point! The service was great too, everyone was friendly. We got a pizza that was Half Forager Pizza and half New Haven Red.The Forager was incredible! I don't like sweet good at all, and the fig on top really wasn't super sweet. It went perfectly with the white sauce, smoked provolone, fresh arugula and veggies. Literally SO good! The New Haven- this was very peppery and not what I expected! But it was really really good. The Gorgonzilla- very sweet. It was flavorful and worth the try, but depends on whether or not you like a sweet tasting pizza. I also love that this location offer slices of pizza for $6. We're talking about a Costco sized slice if you know what I mean! There is also a fridge full of beers, sours, etc if you are wanting alcohol. Also the undercarriage was perfect. I was so surprised and can't wait to go back. Overall, this is the best pizza I've had in Nashville so far."
"I have been to Mr. Js quite a few Saturday mornings mainly because of its proximity to my house...it's literally a minute or two walk. I have always got the Sausage and egg burrito for $8. Hands down the best burrito in the Nashville downtown area. It's big, real eggs and cheese, the tortilla tastes great and the sausage is favorable. In addition, the price point is spot on. I also this week tried the pancakes which were good quality and fairly priced at $5 for 2. The big issue with this place is the staffing. They are under staffed for the traffic they get. There should be 2 in the back of the house and 1 in the front of the house, at least. This would help them push out orders. Although my food was fantastic, I waited 40 min for it. Should be 10 min tops for this setup. I give them a 4 in hopes that they correct this because I really want them to succeed because I can see it from my house and the food is great!"
"You can find this location of Southern Grist Brewing at 5012 Centennial Blvd, Nashville, TN 37209 - this is the end of a shopping center near Tennessee State University and the Nations area. Parking is out front and somewhat limited, you may be able to park around the edges and on the street (not sure).I was pretty excited to visit one of my favorite Nashville breweries on a recent visit (attended the Brew at the Zoo and checked out about a half-dozen local breweries - this and Barrique were the top 2 others came close). This is a rather unassuming taproom - I believe their production facility is elsewhere. Don't be fooled though as there were about 20 beers available for consumption. I've had friends bring me Southern Grist down to Atlanta for a couple of years - I'm in general a big fan of their sours and stouts but find all their releases good and worth pursuing. The interior of this location is spacious with tables on the left a a taproom bar that extends most of the interior distance on the right - there are monitors that show their current draft selection. I was with a group of 6 people so we all got different flights and managed to taste everything as well as pick up bottles for the road. Service is excellent with knowledgeable staff there to answer your questions - quite friendly. On this occasions I had the following:*[Insert Juicy Pun) NEIPA*Double Fruited Black Currant Raspberry Hill Fruited Sour*Blueberry Banana Pancake Hill Fruited Sour*Mango Coconut Dressed Up Hill Fruited Sour*Premium Bitter*Marshmallow Passion Fruit Raspberry Strawberry Hill Fruited Sour*'Mosa - Mimosa inspired sour*Peanut Butter S'mores Blackberry Hill Fruited Sour*Barrel Aged Cordially Yours Pastry Stout*Turnip the Juice Fruited Sour*2 slushies (Slab Series: Chocolate Almond Double Filled Blackberry Jelly Donut and 'Mosa)The best of the batch was that Double Fruited Black Currant Raspberry Hill to my tastes but I was also a fan of the Barrel Aged Cordially Yours. This is still my favorite Nashville brewery with Barrique a close second. I had a great time and left with a few bottles and cans. Also glad they've reopened their taproom."
"The best selection of craft beer I've ever seen. When you go to a brewery, you only get their selections, and a normal bar will only have a few options. This place has so many options of local beer and other craft beer as well. I had to get a flight to try several I had my eye on. Surprised to find they don't have many ML Rose beers but I liked the one I had!"
"Had a great time here the other night checking out Cedar Glade Brews. I ended up having a couple of their stouts, which were very good. I love dark beer and nowadays most everything you find on tap are IPA's which are fine. But I get tired of them. Also Got to check out Single Tree BBQ out front and Charlie makes some mean Brisket. I want to try that Jalapeño Sausage next."
"Schulman's officially has my heart. This vintage-inspired dive on the East side has everything you need for a memorable night. My husband and I stopped in for a quick drink on a summer Friday and ended up chowing down on some of their delicious burgers and smothered fries. We found some street parking a ways down the road, and were not surprised to find this place packed! Even still, we managed to snag a small diner-style booth. They do have patio seating as well - but it's a bit warm for that these days. You order food and drinks at the bar, and then they'll bring your food directly to your table. The bartender was incredibly friendly, the prices are spot on, and our food came out hot and fresh in less than 10 minutes! We each ordered one of their cheeseburgers, which are pretty sizeable and definitely shareable if you're not super hungry. If you like pickles with your burger, I suggest sipping on their pickle beer! This was such a fun addition to a delicious burger. We also ordered two sides of fries - one "Beast" style and one topped with chili and cheese. These comforting classics hit the spot, and I have no doubt we'll visit Schulman's again soon."

The only place I could find in Cookeville with fish ceviche. The closest to authentic Mexican food I can find aside from the food trucks- decent variety as well.

We had a couple drinks here just before dinner. Spacious outside area to hang out with your dogs and plenty of indoor seating as well. They have boardgames you can play as well as trivia on the TVs. Bartender was kind and the bathroom is so cute.

You can find 12 South Taproom & Grill at 2318 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37204. There's limited parking out front and if you're lucky, something available on side-streets nearby. This is a popular area on weekends so good luck, might be better to park in a nearby free lot and uber the short distance to the restaurant. We hit 12 South for a meal between breweries - we got lucky as there wasn't much of a wait to be seated (the first time we tried it wasn't open so some of the photos I took make it look abandoned from the outside). I think the owners were going for more of a diner feel to the interior - there are several tables in rows and along walls that are fairly well spaced, important during a pandemic (not that most in attendance cared, also the staff was masked). I thought the food we tried was good - I had a burrito with a side salad - the latter contained mixed field greens with pico poured on top so not what I'd call dedicated, but it was exactly what I need after a day of hard drinking. I liked the grilled bread on the sandwich. The wedge potato's were like-warm at best. Service was decent with fairly attentive servers but it did take a while for the food to hit the table, we were able to get our checks relatively quickly. In all a good experience.

First time visiting here, so wasn't really sure what to expect. I had heard great things, so I wanted to give it a try. This establishment was small and seems to be women ran. At least on today the ladies were holding it down in the front and back of the the house. It very chill with a quiet environment. Several areas to eat inside if you should choose to dine in. I opted to get the Pork Banh Mi sandwich. I will give this 4/5. My biggest complain is that the bread is way too hard. I feel like I have cut the roof of my mouth trying to bite and chew it. The pork had quite a bit of fat left on the meat which means as I took a bite I would come across chewing up slimy fat. The toppings that come on it are very light and refreshing. The longer stemmed cilantro caught me by surprise, but it added to the freshness of the slaw that comes on it. The overall sandwich is very flavorful and filling. You won't go wrong with ordering it. The salted plum limeade was really good and refreshing. "Salted" but not salty. More sweet than salty which is a great thing. Their limeades are seasonal, so definitely ask about which is in season if you should go and visit. 5/5I will definitely be back to try something else.

First time visiting. We ordered the cheese pizza and salad. The pizza was huge and delicious. The salad was so good. It came with a lemon vinaigrette but I also ordered a ranch. Their ranch is so good. Everyone was nice the food was delicious. Real cute place. Perfect outside eating area. Can't wait to go back.

This place is nothing like the previous Hermitage Cafe. It is a typical fast food place. Place your order, pick up your order, sit down and eat. I saw no breakfast items. I had the bacon, avocado chesseburger and it was very good

"On a recent trip to Nashville it turned out that a friend that I served in the U.S. Army with was going to be in the area, so we decided to meet at M.L.Rose to catch up after 34 years.Being Friday around dinner time I thought the place would be packed, but it wasn't. It was just...busy. My wife and I arrived first and chatted with the hostess while we waited for our friends to arrive, which was about 5 minutes.Interesting parking, because it's actually next to the building in what, I assume, was one the first floor to the building above.M.L.Rose is your typical tap house (they don't actually have their own beers, they bring in kegs from all over the place) and has a pretty comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Our server was Mitch, and Mitch was awesome. Great suggestions when my friend and I were trying to build our custom flights. (To be honest, I don't remember what my flight was, I was just too happy to catch up with my buddy Marvin.)I chose the Sgt. Pepper burger (rather appropriate, given I was meeting with an Army friend) and it was SUE-PERB. It consisted of two smashed patties, habanero jack, serrano pepper-bleu cheese, grilled jalapeños, onion, tomato, chipotle ranch. Their fries were, hands down, some of the best fries I've had In My Life. There were a number of screens and quite a bit of local sports/news/brewery memorabilia around the place, and the music was up-temp but not so loud you couldn't have a conversation. And so we sat for probably an hour-and-a-half, catching up and telling stories, not feeling rushed at all. Mitch checked on us now and again and didn't mind us occupying the table. If I find myself in the area again I'll definitely visit again. This seems like a great place to hang out."
"As a local, sometimes its hard to find places downtown that I would make the trek to come visit. However, DraftKings is a place I could see myself coming back to. The servers were super sweet, food was good and its a brand-new sports bar so its very nice. I was really sad when George Jones, which occupied this space previously, closed after the Christmas day bombing in 2020. However, this is a great use for the space. I haven't been upstairs to the PBR bar but I enjoyed my time at DraftKings."
"A delicious pizza spot in Nashville! They have plenty of parking the music nice hip-hop and R&B. The food is delicious. They have a variety of drinks that you can choose from that complement the pizza. The prices are decent and the staff are friendly. The place is clean. The decor is uplifting educational and positive I love the quotes from artist in the female bathroom. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. I definitely recommend and feel this is a staple to Nashville. I hope you enjoy as much as I did."
"Low key, cute hole on the wall .Street parking as far as I am aware of, I do not live in this state and I was not driving so I cannot be very useful for that info at the moment and I apologize..Bartender attentive, friendly and amazingly knowledgeable of the brew served there.I do not drink beer, but I advise him, he got me and what I was all about, he pointed me the right way for sure. not like other breweries where they serve you another kind of fruity beer, this guy hit the spot with his suggestion. The below was the "beer" I fell in love with.Stiedl radler- like a shandy and super sweet just like I love, I am all about the sweet so this was the best choice ever, fruity, sweet and I could not top drinking it.This place is small and the beer is cheap, the staff is awesome, this is definitely a place to visit when here in the neighborhood."
"I assume this location is new so that's why there aren't many reviews. First time trying this chain and it was amazing! Good food good people decently priced beer!"
"Tried this place with a buddy and enjoyed the atmosphere, but wish they had more dark beer options (Porters, stouts, bocks). I guess everybody is just all about IPA's and Sours today? Check it out and decide for yourself. But if I'm honest, not a big fan of the selection here."
"What used to be one of the best kept secrets (hidden gems) in Nashville, is now one of the hottest places to be! 24 local beers on tap, killer food being crshed out of the food truck out back, and one of the best patio's on the area, makes this place on FIRE!!The Bleu Berry Smash had us ready, until we saw the Billy Berry Smash upgrade! Smashburgers with goat cheese, I'm all in!I actually ended up with the Skippy Thai Yay!! Peanut butter, thai curry, slaw, with lots of pickled jalepenos from the grill... PURE MAGIC!To be blunt, everything we put in our mouth was amazing! The burgers, the cheese fries, the beer! Amazing! If you want a great place to sit, relax, and maybe catch a local band... do not miss out on this place!5 STARS"
"This is maybe the least-touristy brewery I went to in Nashville? You wouldn't think it by the location, but this place has a real locals vibe. Almost like a dive bar, and I mean that only in all the positives of that term: a place were old friends and consistent regulars meet to drink beer.As far as styles of beer, it seems like this place does a little bit of everything!I got a flight of multiple pale-yellow-hoppy beers, and all were solid.Staff was also very friendly. Luckily this is one of the breweries in this town that encourages sampling and the ordering of flights.Definitely get out of the downtown madness and give these folks a shot!"
"THE BEST chicken tenders I've ever had. Perfect in every way. Truly tender. Selection of sauce to boot! Variety of sides?!? The chop chop salad with rotisserie chicken was perfect portion with fresh mixed greens and strong blue cheese! This particular spot is extra great b/c of their staff. Everyone I've encountered here is dang delightful and great customer service. The set up is a blend of fast & casual dining, but the food is true quality. They have a bunch of TVs and a nice bar set up that seems perfect for game watching; and the bar is full service of beer and liquor with great selection. Or there's a drive through for your food to go!Bonus - Tuesday tenders special!Hoping one of these will open on the east side of town!"
"We seem to make our way to this deli every time we visit Nashville.Went with the SEC this time. It'll feed two humans or half a Vol linebacker. And it's delish! Family owned and operated. These are hard working folks who churn out consistently great food every day. Go local. Pay cash. Leave a tip."
"we were in here for a very short period of time so I'm going to give this location a good review they were jampacked had live music on two different floors and everyone seem to be having a really good time. We weren't able to grab any drinks, but I did like how the security line was moving pretty quickly and it wasn't too obnoxious inside. The decor was fitting for Nashville and I really do like the name of the location. It's on the main strip so I highly recommend stopping by if anyone is in the area."
"Such a great addition to WeHo! I've been here twice - once for a corporate party and the second on my own for lunch. One of the best lunch deals in town, a sub/sammy or full sammy for $12 during the week. So filling and tasty. Their pizza and fried pickles are so tasty. I loved everything I tried at the corporate party and on my own. Great spot for pre/post NSC games or just spending some time in the area."
"This place was connected to my hotel. Decided to try the Nashville hot chicken. Had the chicken and waffles with their standard heat. Man I love chicken and waffles with syrup. So yummy. It was pretty quiet on a Sunday night and the service was top notch. Bar tender was very nice and social. I also had the Nashville beer on tap and really really liked it. I'm sure the locals will laugh at me, but it was really good. Got a discount too for staying at the hotel."
"Great happy hour! Loved the ambience! Appetizers were pretty good besides the spinach dip (mediocre)! Wine was from all of the world.Great collection. Great location as well.Plenty of street parking!"
"On this visit I ate lunch at the bar. First the burgers are excellent and they have a nice cocktail menu. The other plus, since is not on Broadway you're not paying that Broadway upcharge. I was eyeing them making the shakes which looked amazing but I decided against the shake while I was there. Staff was great, attentive, but not pesty. Not too chaotic it was pretty quiet the day I was there, but according the bartender, I just missed CMA-fest he said everything in the area was busy!"
"Upon entering I was greeted by several nice ladies. Nice decor, very inviting. Nice male server came over & took drink & food order. Extensive menu, lots of options. Definitely satisfying all of your Mexican comida needs. Good music. Good chips and salsa. I ordered the steak taco dinner which was scrumptious. Good flavor. Guac was good but should have ordered the Mexican 1 vs reg. Otherwise I will recommend this spot if u are hungry and in the area but make sure u see server Hector...he rocks!!!!"
"Solid food find within walking distance of a Tesla Supercharger! It looks like it's a bit away on the map, but you are not far at all. Stopped in for lunch while juicing up the ride. We sat at the bar. Tables were all pretty full, honestly I was impressed. Bartender was nice, personable, and efficient. Tons of cool beers on tap. There are even more in the coolers. Very eclectic selection. I wished I lived closer. Food was good. Nashville Hot Cheese Curds were ok. The curds themselves were a bit greasy. The spice was sorta weak for a "Nashville Style". I'd pass on the next trip. Burger was freaking solid! I had the Jam Burger and it was right up my alley! Perfectly pressed patties, loved all of the toppings. Waffle fries as the side performed their roll perfectly. Crunchy, starchy, goodness!Great Yelp find! In and out in less than an hour, fully charged for the ride home! My kind of place!'24 - 17/100"
"Crazy Gnome is a local micro/nano-brewery that sits directly on Main Street about a block or two from the heart of Five Points. While they are situated on Main Street, finding them can be a little tricky as they sit in the corner of the same building that houses Main Street Liquors. Parking can be a bit of situation here, especially when it gets packed. They do not have a dedicated lot, but you can consider the liquor store parking just that...as besides street parking, that is the best place to look. On weekends and in the evenings you can scoop up a spot in the lot for Gym 5...but all the other times, be planful or creative for parking! Crazy Gnome isn't the largest spot, but they have done a good job with the space they have. Outside they have a recreation area with a few games you can play or you can chill at one of the tables/picnic tables. Just inside the doors you have a 6 to 8 stool bar, a communal standing table, standard 4 tops and even a lounge area fitted with sofas and chairs. We opted for a picnic table outside which allowed us to watch the folk on the treadmills at the neighboring gym as we sipped our carb loaded beers! They have a constant rotation of beers with usually 8 - 12 actively on tap. I usually prefer the smoother and lighter selections so I went with the Protect our Pollinators on round 1 and finished my visit off with their Breakfast of Champions. Both were great light beers. My partner is a sour fella, in attitude and beer taste (badum tss), so he went with the April Sours Bring May Flowers and then the Lemon Squeezy. Service was excellent, the bartenders were both friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming..as was the sign on the door notating that they are a LGBTQ+ safe space...was great to see that! Definitely a spot we will be back to!"
"You can find this location of Bearded Iris Brewing at 4101 Charlotte Ave Ste 40, Nashville, TN 37209 in Sylvan Park - it's actually built into the old Sylvan Supply (warehouse I think). There's a lot of parking around the buildings but your best bet on busy nights is to park in the big lot behind Sylvan Supply. This is a pretty special location of Bearded Iris with a great intimate feel - it is a bit noisy but you'll feel right at home - it's almost bohemian with the soft glow of lighted signs and wood treatments behind the bar. The really amazing thing about this location is the Secret Ramen window at one end - you scan a QR code to view the menu and pay in-app. What gets delivered is an amazing bowl of Nashville-style ramen, combining local ingredients (like smoked pork and collard greens) with a well executed broth. I had the Spicy Tonkatsu and whatever pepper they had in there was pretty deadly - beware the seeds, they took my breath away.I tried a few beers while there:* Dot & Dash Double IPA 3.9/5 - Fairly bright NEIPA with hazy body, notes of stone fruit and citrus, finishes a bit harsh and green.* Brightline Fruited Sour 4/5 - Very tart, big raspberry notes with a touch of sweetness on the finish.* Hollywood Villain 4.3/5 Imperial Stout - Quite tasty thick bodied pastry stout with notes of sweet creamy chocolate and nice barrel notes, finishes slightly boozy, sweet marshmallow and full.* Know It All Imperial NEIPA 4.1/5 - Quite a slammable Double NEIPA with creamy slight tart and sweet citrus body, notes of lime and peach, somewhat floral hoppy finish.* Fake Hate Imperial NEIPA 4.4/5 - Quite a tasty Imperial NEIPA with big citrus and sweet tropical notes in a orange juicy body, well balanced hoppy finish with low bitterness. We sat at the bar and the tenders were very attentive. In all, great brewery and top notch beers and ramen!"
"We decided to try something different in Nashville instead of BBQ. Decent sized group but we had made reservations. We were seated pretty quickly as it wasn't that busy yet. They had a large enough table to seat our group of 8. Our server was great. On top of the large orders and everything came out on time and together. Drinks and apps and then the main dishes and desserts. Everything was pretty good. The Korean bbq wings were really good. I believe they are a chain but I've never heard of them before this time. I would come back here or another location down the line ."
