"I put Bootlegger's Inn on the list after someone told me I must try the moonshine shots.BI is basically like any ol' honky tonk on Broadway. Kinda seedy, kinda sticky, kinda stinky. It wasn't crowded on a Thursday evening comparedto some of the other bars in the neighboring area. Maybe that was an indication of how good (or not good?) it was.Anyhoo, they have quite the collection of flavored moonshine. I was surprised when they toldme two shots were $19! Pricy! We got an Oatmeal cookie (good) and Salted Caramel (sickeningly sweet). Glad we got to try it, but don't need to repeat."
"Rooftop bar hopping is always fun with family and friends. The proof is located inside the W Nashville Hotel on the 13th floor. We were immediately carded exiting the elevator, so 21 and up. The ambiance was quiet and comfortable--lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered drinks, but unfortunately, they were not good. I love the decor and wall art. We had a lovely time, and the weather was perfect for a Saturday summer night. No DJ, but did I mention the gorgeous view?"

We came here based on the Yelp reviews, and were pleased with our experience. The frozen margarita was refreshing, a perfect blend of lime and salt, and a happy hour price! Hubby ordered his usual unsweetened tea with lots of lemon. The Shrimp Enchiladas caught my eye while Hubby had the Chimichanga with rice and beans. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the food. There were plenty of shrimp in the enchilada and it was tasty. We enjoyed our food and will consider returning when we are in the area."
"My husband brought me here for my 41st birthday. It was such a luxurious experience from start to finish! Our host Ron was gracious and professional and answered all of our questions about the dishes. The wine list was extensive -- I ordered a Reisling which really had the right balance of sweet and crisp flavors. There were plenty of vegetarian options. The appetizers were lovely, especially the roasted artichokes. The spinach ravioli in brown butter sauce was divine and great for dipping bread. My husband loved the eggplant Parmesan. All the pasta is made in-house and is so fresh. They also provided a complimentary tiramisu as a birthday dessert. Ambiance was lovely and they even have a separate event space upstairs. We have not had Italian food this good since we lived in Boston and dined in the North End!"
"Wow, it's a little jarring how country this place is... once I was over the initial shock of Jacob basically calling me a city girl in a honky tonk bar, I was in love. Definitely one of my favorite discoveries during a recent Nashville trip. My friend and I sat in the back room until the main crowd died down. We could still clearly enjoy the live country music. It was incredible.I had a few Gin & Tonics. Got Hot Wings and Mozzarella Sticks for dinner. Superb and honestly way better quality than I expected for how divey everything felt. Proved me wrong! Eventually we made our way to the other side of the bar and made friends closing it down with us. We wanted to come back but didn't have a chance during our convention week. Next time for sure!"
"12/18/23: Last night and we checked out Honky Tonk Central. Another great vibe and awesome band. People for the 2 visit to Nashville within a month's time always a good time to be had in any bar ventured into."
"What is not t like? We enjoyed local music and the beer was cold. I even enjoyed the furious appetizers we had while enjoying the music. The service was spot on."
"I was getting a haircut at Big Daddys barber shop when Bill brings in a plate of food from JPs bar and grille. It looked dang good and everyone was talking about how good the food is. It was lunchtime so off O went. So yes it's a bar. Yes it smells of cigarettes. But the food was amazing. This chicken wrap isn't listed on their menu, but they'll make it for you! Comes with tots, fries, or chips. Every soul in this place was super nice. They will chat with you. I may have to come back and hang out. They have pool tables, cold beer, a bar with specialty drinks, video games, and other activities. The place is huge too. The food portions are big. You probably won't be able to eat all of your meal here."
"Hands down best linguine I had in a long time.So here it goes, while visiting from out of town and being asked by coworkers where to eat I came across Trattoria II Mulino while doing a search online and I'm glad that I found this hidden gem!!Location right in the heart of Nashville Downtown.Atmosphere: Basement restaurant from street level with plenty of seating and very modern decor.Food: My guess is they must make the best pasta in Tennessee if not on the entire east coast.Bread and olive oil were very tasty. The meatball appetizer was out of this world and was very delicious! My Linguine with clams was probably the best pasta dish I ever had besides outside of Italy. The pasta, the sauce with a special kick and the clams were just so delicious and mouthwatering. This restaurant was extremely good, and we ended up going there 3 times in a row for lunch while in town. Unfortunately, I didn't try their pizza or other items but each of my co-workers had nothing but good things to say about their food.I'm a fan and wish we had you guys here in Southern California!!!5 stars for delicious food and friendly service.Needless to say, I 'll be back.Enjoy and Bon Appétit."
"The perfect place to take a quick break from the craziness of downtown. This bar is just off Broadway, about two blocks, and basically offers everything that most bars in DT offer. Live music, chilly AC, lively crowds, but cheaper beers. It's a little divey, but I kind of like my bars like that. Not just booze, they also serve food here!"
"Food was great. Service was great. Drinks were great. Got seated right away with our reservation. Pool looked not worth it. Glad we changed our reservation to another pool option."

The trolley booth next door gave us discount stickers and recommended we pop in for a drink. We got discounted moonshine for $7. I got an Arnold Palmer sweet tea and it was so good. Couldn't even taste the moonshine. Fun spot if you're looking for moonshine.

Came here for GNO and to check out Proof's HH. The rooftop is really nice with a good view. We had the best bartender. He was really nice and had the best personality, I wish I remembered his name.I ordered a gimlet which was delicious. I read mixed reviews on the food, but our food was really good. I ordered the wings , not spicy but very flavorful, and I ordered the truffle fries. My friend wanted a dessert, they didn't have dessert, but when the restaurant downstairs opened, he allowed her to order from that menu which was really nice of him.I will definitely be back!Parking: park in parking lot across from hotel, a lot more inexpensive than valet. I was told they don't validate at Proof.

A great, quick, tasty mexican spot. The margaritas are yummy and they have daily deals. The place is small on the inside and has limited seating outside. For sure coming back here when I'm craving mexican!

What an amazing place! The service from our waiter Oliver was amazing, the food was delicious & the atmosphere was romantic. We started out with wine & appetizers, the calamari was great along with the mozzarella & tomato app.I ordered the Eggplant parmigiana, my husband had the veal special, and our friends ordered the lasagna... all of the dishes were fantastic! Will visit again.

Great loud music in the classic honkytonk. The crowd today was older, maybe average age of 65. Everyone friendly and having a good time. Drinks ok. Limited menu, the pizza $26 tasted frozen. Get something else. Lots of free parking.

Came in as our last stop Sunday night of thanksgiving weekend girls birthday trip. My two girlfriends were crashing fast but this place picked them right up! They aren't country fans and this was by far their favorite music of our trip! We danced our butts off!We also laughed our butts off! They made me wear a crown and sash and that was quite the attention getter from the young (barely 21) Eastern European boys hahahaha. I also had a Russian guy ask if I was getting married half a dozen times and finally I said yes tomorrow and the face he made was priceless. He was super drunk but that's to be expected on Broadway.

Ahh this place was amazing. It has such an intimate vibe. We just so happened to come across it when looking for a place to grab a late night snack (9:00pm). There was a gentleman outside of the establishment that greeted us and was super friendly. The wait staff was prompt and very attentive. The live music made the visit even better. Chicken tenders basket with homemade ranch and honey mustard: 5/5 The wing basket; wings were covered in a house specialty sauce can't recall the name: 5/5 This has easily become one of my a new spots to visit more often. If you're in the area, go check it out!
Visit Restaurant Page"AMAZING! Bathrooms available and plenty of parking-parking deck right next to small parking lot. I went with my sister and the place is so spacious and close to downtown. She is a local in Nashville and swears by this place. We are both from Central America and love our margaritas and Latin cuisine. These tortillas are homemade!! Chips/totopos are corn chips -but have hade contact with flour. The salsa was so good we asked for some to take back with us. They have an avocado tomatillo salsa that is just incredible. I think we had three helpings of it alone.Fajitas are incredible! We had steak and it was nice thick chunks of great meat! Normally is flat flank steak that's slightly over cooked but this was perfect and we shared that and it was plenty! Now the margaritas are incredible!! I had the OG and the pomegranate. I would recommend the OG. It was limey and so good! There is an inside and a patio. We sat on the patio it was perfect"
"Excellent chimichanga! And the margarita was HUGE! Very clean place. Friendly staff with great service. I enjoyed the decor which was really nice boat decor. Prices were totally reasonable too. Authentic Mexican."
"This particular Chuy's is located in the Opry Mills shopping plaza in Nashville, Tennessee. Since it is such a large shopping plaza, parking is definitely not an issue. The atmosphere is eclectic and fun. The service was professional and friendly. The food is more Tex-Mex instead of Mexican. Pretty decent for a chain restaurant."
"this saloon in the heart of Nashville on the main strip had really great snacks. I treated everyone to a couple different appetizers and we annihilated the plates. There wasn't much left after we had a couple drinks needed to munch on something we got the pretzels, which were extremely soft and absolutely huge. It came with some special garlic cheese dip that I've never had in my life before, and it was addicting. The chips were fantastic. I like the way they cut it up and mix everything up. It has some kind of spicy cake that was definitely at the table. Lastly, I got the chicken tenders, which was mixed with fries and it was the perfect comfort food that we needed to weigh down the drinks and keep us going for the rest of the night. The bartender was really fantastic and honestly, the service was really sweet."
"Yes yes yes honey, we loved 5th and Taylor for girls night, would go back on a date night, shoot I would go back on a "take myself out" night; good food is self-care too. First off- ambiance, decor, vibes 10/10Food- nothing I would not order again...everything was so good!-Sausage cheddar biscuits, what a surprising delicious, comfort food delight!-Dinner rolls- delish, love me some fresh baked carbs-beer can chicken - oh my gosh did not think ordering the chicken on the menu would be this memorable. So good, the veggies and the beer gravy -excellent flavor. -I also tried my friend's scallops, very good. -Finally, the crispy brussel sprouts in blood orange- what the what!? What culinary genius came up with this? 10/10Coming back ASAP"
"Stopped in for a solo dinner (biz trip and I am staying in the Sheraton Grand).Ordered a "hef" to start. My favorite kind of beer. Then followed up with the Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders and Truffled Fries. The Nashville "hot" chicken was flavorful especially the pickles but not that hot (had to add Tabasco) to kick it up. The truffled fries were seasoned well and came with ketchup and mayo served on the side for dipping. Really wanted to like he mayo but there is just something comforting about fries and ketchup. So not a bad dinner for one.Decided that still had room for dessert so ordered a Bonut (Biscuit Donut hybrid) with a cup of coffee. I he Bonut is best described as a deep fried biscuit disguised as a donut hole. Served with berry preserves it is very tasty but heavy. The serving size is theee but I would have been satiated with just one. Eating the other two was just decadent indulgence.Flying in from the west coast it's not really dinner time for me but needed a nice meal with coffee so that I wouldn't fall asleep Still have some work to do.Sitting at the bar and the service was great! Atmosphere is typical hotel but with a Music City feel. Overall a four out of five star experience. They lose a star on the Nashville "tasty but not hot" chicken sliders."
"Five Points Pizza is a great choice f9r pizza. We had lunch here today and the pizza was great. The crust was perfect and the cheese and sauce perfectly complimented that dough and crust. The staff was friendly and the place has a cool enough vibe and ambiance. Parking can be a bit of an issue. But it is what it is.I grew up in New Jersey and just took it for granted that great pizza was available on every corner. When I moved south back in 2001, I was both shocked and dismayed to find that great (or even good pizza) was not available on every corner and in fact, was hard to find. When great pizza is found, it is indeed a time to celebrate (and what better way to celebrate than with a slice of pizza in hand?).I would definitely recommend Five Points Pizza and I will give it five stars for an excellent pizza."
"I was too full to eat something here because we just came from house of cards Buffet . That did not mean that we did not come in to enjoy the music and admire the whole place. I mean it is the Johnny Cash restaurant, so yeah I'm gonna stop and hang out.#LoveJohnnyCash"
"Have had my eye on Mariscos Sayulita Nayarit but it's on the other side of town and I would pass three places I enjoy just to get out there. Today I took the drive out there so I could check them off my list and I now regret waiting so long. This place is clean, bright, nicely decorated, and the staff is extremely friendly even with my poor Spanish. I took a seat at the bar and Elisa (sp) took my beer order and all of a sudden a server brought me a plate I didn't order (it was complimentary). The dish was called Tostada de Ceviche Marlin and it's marinated Marlin on a tortilla shell with diced tomato and celery. I gave it a try and it is fresh with a light "pickled" flavor, and with the garnishment is really quite good. The chips and salsa was served and I really liked the salsa, mild, a nice flavor, and you can tell it's made in-house. This menu can take you a bit to study and while Nayarit style seafood is the emphasis, there are many traditional Mexican dishes available too. After watching dishes being served to various tables (that looked incredible) I decided on the Fajitas Sayulita which one of the waitresses gave me a two thumbs-up! This consisted of bacon wrapped grilled shrimp, ribs, fajita steak & chicken, along with traditional sides. My first bite was some of the chicken with the onions & peppers on a tortilla and it was a "WOW" moment...great flavor and very tender. Loved the bacon wrapped shrimp which were also filled with queso cheese...these are addicting. Everything on the platter was great...some of the best fajita flavors around. Overall this dish is a real standout and I am looking forward to trying some of the seafood offerings. ALL of the servers were great answering questions and making me feel welcome. For me...this spot is well worth the trek across town to enjoy some authentic Mexican cuisine."
"Love this bar. Dark, open, great bar and good food. Nice servers. Good selection of beer and served very cold. Great place for lunch, day drinking, end of the work day or last stop of the night!"
"Love the while vibe here. It definitely has a "neighborhood pub" vibe. Plenty of free parking. Clean and old school. Great beer and cocktail selection with good prices and specials. Each day has a different deal. Our server was fantastic. We just had drinks and appetizers this time but will be back for a full meal soon! My wife loved the Espresso Martini which she said was really strong. I stuck with a few local beers."
"I went to Babo on a whim recently. It's definitely a small spot with limited parking. Going to the bar was the easiest way for me to get immediate service since there were a couple of spots open. My husband was hanging with a friend, so dining solo wasn't an issue for me.For dinner, I opted for the beef bulgogi, which was fantastic - flavorful and seasoned well - I just wanted more of it when I was done to take home. Sake was good. I decided on that after seeing their sake bomb being advertised. It is more reasonable to get a regular sake than the sake bomb. Do as you wish, but that's my suggestion. I appreciated being able to sit at the bar and chat with the bartender while I ate. She was nice and offered some suggestions on what to try on my next visit in. I also had the chance to talk to a co-owner of the restaurant, to my surprise. He was nice and told me how the concept of the place came about. The best part was that the restaurant wasn't too crowded. It still had enough people but did not feel too congested, especially since bar seating removed me from the main dining area. But what really stood out to me was the level of customer service I received. The bartender was attentive, and the co-owner was really cool. I had a nice low-key time at Babo Korean Bar. It's a great spot to go with friends or alone, have some great Korean food, and enjoy a calm and relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend the beef bulgogi, the sake, and the wonderful customer service!"
"Really enjoyed this place, Rosie was the perfect server and all though I didn't really enjoy the Mexican plate my wife enjoyed her carne asada. The atmosphere as pleasant except the guy yelling at the waiter is GRATUITY INCLUDED IN OUR BILL. Some people just need to stay home. But would recommend to anyone in the area to stop in."
"Solid Mexican food with large portions and friendly staff. I've been here a few times with friends and have always had a good meal."
"This is such a fun bar in Nashville! We got there early afternoon on a Monday and had so much fun. Passing by outside we could hear a guy playing guitar and he sounded really good. We decided to stop in for a few drinks and it was worth it. The singer was Pierson Swanson who was super friendly and sounded great! The bartender was cool and the other patrons were all having a good time. Just off Broadway, but definitely worth checking out!"
"I stayed at the Kimpton for my brother's wedding & had Sunday brunch at Henley the following morning. The decor is very pleasing on the eyes & the back dining space even more so. I started off with a Kevin Bacon Old Fashioned & boy was it tasty. It was sweet enough to be a dessert but at the same time you could taste the bacon with every sip. Aromatic & strong as it should be.I had the server help me choose my food as everything sounded too good. She suggested the French toast Monte cristo & since I've only had a Monte cristo sandwich maybe twice in my life I went with the recommendation. It was phenomenal. Full of flavor in each bite with pillow soft French toast bread. I almost forgot to take a photo I was so busy enjoying it. Luckily I captured half of it before it disappeared.Service was great as there was a party of 9 of us & I'd love to come back & have lunch or dinner here."
"Came by here with my mom one day to grab a late lunch to go. They weren't super busy but had a decent crowd. The bar was pretty busy and looked like it would be a cool place to hang out with friends. Our meals were pretty good, but need to come back and dine in, in order to get the real experience"
"We made a reservation in advance to visit The Stillery location closest to Broadway. It seems a bit smaller than their other location. We arrived for an early lunch around 1130 on a Sunday and there were still tables available, but it quickly filled up. The service was good and the portions were large. We could've easily split a meal. We ordered the hot chicken on mac & cheese and I appreciated that there were different spice levels of chicken, but even the milder level was still pretty hot. The turkey burger was way better than expected. We were pleasantly surprised. I definitely recommend it for a chill lunch near Broadway."
"This old auto shop got converted into this eclectic, hipster, dive bar and eatery. They transformed it for many bands to showcase their talent. The food here are made in the house. It's fascinating to see the graffiti art on the wall and all the unique, colorful artistry behind their interior decor hanging around. They do need updates i their furniture, but I believe this is what makes their place one of a kind.As far as the food I loaded up in with their "Phat special" menu.I enjoyed their pita and hummus appetizer and the salad I got was good. The food wasnt as memorable as the decor. But it is a great place for vegans to vegetarians. There bar and their night life must be a hit. In the area.."
"Brewhouse West is definitely a locals spot, without question and I can truly see why the locals love this place! We recently moved to the area and Brewhouse came highly recommended as a good place for a beer and some solid bar food. The beer is top notch in selection and price, the food part needs a little work.Brewhouse West is a no frills, local, dive/sports joint where the locals of all sorts come to have a strong cocktail, local beer, cheap burger, saucy wings or even some fried alligator...all while catching the game on one of the many TV's throughout the place. One thing that immediately attracted us to Brewhouse, outside of the location to our house, was their ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR! It is legit an all day thing with specials on cocktails, wine and beer! At some points of the night and on the weekends, you can get up to 50% off of your beverages...so, sign me up! We have been here a few times now and each time dined and drank in the main dining room/bar area. They do have a more private side room and a covered back patio as well. I look forward to the warmer months, as I was told they have great patio vibes and live music on certain nights out back! Parking is not an issue here. They have a few VIP spots up front, but if you are not lucky enough to scoop one of these up then they have a large lot in the back. Each time we have visited we usually just stick to the beer menu, which features all the classics, but also a rotating local tap. I am hooked on the Mayday Boro Blonde Ale! Food wise, they serve up a mix of classic bar food as well as Mexican and Creole inspired dishes. We have sampled a few things from the menu including the Chicken Club Wrap, Patty Melt and the famed Chipotle BBQ wings. The wrap has been hit and miss, as the first visit it was perfection, however on the second time in it was not put together very well and did not have a good ratio of chicken, cheese to lettuce. The patty melt was tough, as in tough to get through. I do not want to say the burger and bread were stale, but they definitely spent more time under the heat lamp than they should have. On the flip side, the wings were excellent! They were tender, perfectly smoked and absolutely coated in the chipotle bbq sauce...and then you dip them in that spicy ranch, boyyyyyyyyy!!! Service has been solid. You can tell they are understaffed right now, as is everywhere, but they are handling it quite well. The servers have been helpful, friendly and done a great job! Overall, I enjoy Brewhouse West for what it is! It is not on the top of my culinary recommendations list for Nashville, but it definitely sits close to the top for local divey-sports bars with excellent happy hours!"
"Happy Cinco de Mayo! I hope I spelled that correctly. It's such a fantastic day to indulge in delicious Mexican cuisine. Nectar Urban Cantina is our go-to spot, not just for their mouthwatering dishes, but also for their excellent service. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, complete with a ramp for those who require it. Plus, you can even bring your furry friends along. They allow dogs outside. And if you're lucky, you might be treated to some incredible live music. Have a great day!"
