This restaurant is totally amazing. Turkish food is to die for and this place is the perfect place to try it in the US. The atmosphere is very pleasing and the service is very good. I recommend trying the rakı; it's a little rough, but worth it for an authentic Turkish experience. If you get any meat, make sure you dip it in the yogurt, it will greatly enhance the experience. Food was flavorful and I loved the free bread. They had four vegetarian main options, and all the soups and many of the appetizers were vegetarian. My favorite starters were the lentil soup and the free bread. We also tried hummus and ezme. The ezme tasted like Mediterranean pico de gallo. The vegetarian sampler had more mellow flavors and the rice tasted quite plain. Our server was friendly. We sat outside (dog friendly) and they had 4 tables four outdoor seating with roof overhead (in case of rain).

Food: 4/5. Service: 4/5. Ambiance: 4/5. We stopped here as it was nearby and we wanted to eat middle eastern. We were not disappointed. The service was good and they kept bringing out fresh bread for us. We had stuffed grape leaves and filo dough fried and stuffed with cheese. Both yummy. Then for an entree we had adana kabob (my favorite) and iskender kabob (also very good). Definitely will be returning to try the rest of the menu out.

Food- The lamb chops are my absolute favorite thing to eat here. It's always perfectly made. I had the sampler platter as well - personally was not a fan of the grape leaves because I didn't know it was going to be cold but everything else on the platter was good especially the humus. They have this Turkish soda that tastes like a tropical sprite and the Turkish red wine is a must. Service - The servers were excellent! Everyone was so nice. They really wanted us to have a good meal. Ambiance - This establishment gives off very relaxed, intimate vibes. It's dim lit and perfect for date night. I love how it's not too loud in there as well.

Zilan made our visit the BEST BEST BEST ever!!!! My girlfriends Pearl and Beckah and I came here on a whim after our foot experience at the spa. I mean I had no idea what a joyous experience we would have. We came in super late but they made us feel welcomed from the moment we set foot inside..:::the ambiance was on point.... I felt the Turkey feels. The sampler plate was so full and rich with flavor and texture. Great job chef people's. 5 star experience. I'll bring my friends back!!! Zilan. We love you.

Really delicious and fresh food. Came here on a weekday evening with a friend, restaurant was maybe a quarter full, pretty quiet, a bit dark in terms of lighting. Ordered:- complimentary fresh bread with olive oil, super delicious. Unlimited refills too!- lahmacun ("Turkish pizza" as said on the menu but this is the real name for it): bigger portion than expected, it's actually 2 lahmacuns. Flavorful meat on thin dough, pretty tasty.- manti ("ravioli" as said on the menu but actually dumplings): fewer than expected but still filling, chewy outside and lots of yogurt sauce. Really enjoyed it!- had a bite of my friend's chicken kabob, chicken was dry and not very flavorful, this is why I docked 1 star. - kunefe: freshly made, cheese was oozing, dish was hot when it came out. Really good! Not too sweet which I appreciated.Friendly service, heard the waiter explain to the table next to us about Turkey and food there. Food is on the pricier side but is of good quality!

I came here right before rush hour on a Saturday night. We were seated fast and quickly got served some complimentary bread with spiced olive oil for dipping. The restaurant has a classy look inside, making it a nice date night spot.We ordered falafel for the appetizer, which was lukewarm. It had some suspicious plastic wrap at the corners of the plate, which makes me think it was microwaved. For our entrees, we both ordered lamb chops, which is one of the pricier menu items. It was absolutely worth it. However, I do wish there were side veggies that came with the lamb instead of a plain salad before the dish arrives.

Anatolia is a favorite of mine in Nashville and they consistently serve quality food! This unassuming establishment is located in a strip mall in West Nashville. There is plenty of parking and they do take reservations ahead of time so I highly recommend calling in advance! I came here to celebrate a coworkers birthday and loved every bit of my meal. The servers started us off with a complimentary appetizer of bread and oil. The bread was clearly cooked fresh minutes before serving and was a delight. I ordered the lamb shish kabab which came with a side of veggies and rice. The lamb was juicy and tender. The yogurt sauce on the side was also homemade, which I loved. For desert, I got the kunefe. They make it on the spot so make sure to allow for at least 20 min for them to prepare this. I went ahead and ordered it in the middle of my meal. The kunefe was soft, warm, crunchy, and sweet. It came with four pieces and my party finished every last bite. I had a wonderful time at Anatolia and highly recommend everyone check this place out!

Food was Good. I went during dinner and was a little busy. I ordered the lamb shish kabob and the hummus. The Lamb was great! The Turkish tea was served in these neat tea cups. Only downside is that it was busy.

After experiencing Immersive Van Gogh, I was ready for dinner. I did a search and found Anatolia Turkish Restaurant. I love Turkish food. It felt fitting to have dinner at an eatery on my final full day in Nashville. The drive over here was three minutes during rush hour. I parked practically in front of the restaurant, which is located in a plaza. I backed into a spot and headed over to the main door. There have been times where I can't open the front door in my life. It happened twice at two different eateries in Charlotte, NC. Add this restaurant to my list. I'm not exactly weak, but I tugged at the door handle and it didn't budge. A woman opened the door for me on the opposite side.Weird. It's me.I was seated at a nice table, off to the side of the restaurant. I loved the artwork of Istanbul everywhere, which made me miss the city.It was super hot outside. I wanted an unsweetened iced tea. My weakness is Turkish tea. I loved getting Turkish tea at the bazaar in Istanbul. I felt that I needed to relive that joy here.My server was Marianne. She was knowledgeable and helped answer all my questions. I asked whether the Turkish tea was hot. It was. I ordered it because I missed it so much.My favourite Turkish meal is kofta. It was on the menu. I was elated and was done making my mind up.Marianne mixed the dip for my starter bread. Being stateside, the starter bread was half a loaf. It was warm. I loved that the exterior was crusty and inside was soft, just the way it should be.The dip was flavourful. I enjoyed it as I waited for my main meal. The unsweetened ice tea was excellent. The tea was strong and delightfully refreshing. My Turkish tea transported me back to Turkey. It was the real deal, served the traditional way in that iconic glass. It was black tea. It was fragrant and did not have any sugar. I loved it.My kofta dinner came. In a nutshell, it was Turkish authentic food with American portions. The kofta morsels were gigantic. In Istanbul, each one was easily half the size of what I had. The beef was done medium. I would have liked them medium-well or even well. However, each morsel was seasoned well and I loved them.Luckily, I got a skewer of veggies. They balanced the meatfest that I was enduring. The yogurt sauce kept everything light. I loved it. The rice was the perfect portion for me. It was on the smaller side. I was thankful because the kofta was extremely filling.Although I felt stuffed, my favourite Turkish dessert, kunefe, was on the menu. I asked my server how large it was. It was a decent size, but she said that she could pack whatever I couldn't eat in a box. I said yes to it.The kunefe was fabulous. It was authentic, with stretchy cheese. It was crunchy and slightly sweet. I highly recommend getting it, stuffed or not!Marianne packed up my remaining kunefe in a box and provided a plastic bag. She was great.I paid with a credit card. She ran it through and all was great. I thanked her and left with my dessert. I had it as a snack later that evening. So good!More patrons were there when I had left. It was a good sign of a great restaurant.I would return to this eatery for my Turkish food fix in a heartbeat. If you want great food without flying over to Istanbul, come here. The atmosphere is casual, the food is authentic, and staff are great.(354)
