"Friendly neighborhood bar type place where customers are welcome to bring their dogs on the patio and they have lots of games like cornhole, etc. It's basically the kind of local place every neighborhood should have. The southern jam burger was tasty and had a habanero bacon jam I had never tried before. It was a good combo of sweet and spicy that balanced each other out well. It went well with a side of tots and a couple local beers.Service is very friendly and casual, they aren't rushing you at all here but they're very attentive. We sat on the patio (as did most others) on a warm and sunny evening but they do have inside seating as well. I'd come back here if I was in the area and would recommend checking it out. If I lived near here, I'd probably be a regular."

Visit Restaurant Page"Giest in Nashville is a must-visit! The house bread and scallops are absolute must-gets--simply outstanding. We also added the whipped feta and a side of broccoli, both of which were perfect additions to the meal. Sitting at the bar, we soaked in the trendy yet comfortable vibe that has an upscale feel without being pretentious. Great food, excellent atmosphere--definitely worth a visit!"
"Breakfast love*** Definitely will stop again. Service is at the counter where you order and they give you a number and bring your food to the table (beverages are self serve). The vegetarian breakfast sandwich is outstanding. Best thing is no egg! I guess if you want that they can add but it's so nice they have a lovely breakfast sandwich on fantastic fresh bread, yummy veggies and cooked to perfection. The meat lover at the table had the Viking and enjoyed. Don't miss the hashbrown casserole. It's totally a great addition to your meal. Friendly service and nice homey dining room."
"Great place! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had the she crab soup and it was to die for. The sesame chicken salad was perfect. Portion, taste and mix. I have to try the breakfast buffet soon. Remember to support your local grubberies so we both don't starve...."
"This was my first time here and I will definitely be back. My food was so delicious! I got the Volcano with grilled chicken. The pineapple jalapeño jam was soooo very good! I can't wait to have it again. The potato was also delicious. Service was good and our server was so helpful. Wish I would have gotten his name. He gave such good recommendations. My husband had a salad and ate every bite. We had a great experience."
"A great foodie spot offering fine dining quality food set in a casual yet elevated atmosphere. Came in on a Wednesday night and were seated at the chef's counter which allowed for an interactive culinary experience as we could watch our food be prepared in front of us! It was nice to chat to the chefs as well and see them them work their magic. We ordered the 5 course tasting menu and then the elk filet, brussel sprouts, and watermelon/arugula salad. I had a bit higher expectations for the tasting menu as nothing was a standout/would order again but it had unique dishes and flavor profiles to try and was a good intro into the restaurant. The elk was delicious and might have been my favorite- gamey with an earthiness flavor to it and I loved the corn it was served with. Brussel sprouts were tasty- I really just loved the in house bacon in there. The watermelon salad was tasty and light. I overall enjoyed the regular menu (changes) more than the tasting but the whole experience, service, food, and ambience was sO much fun! I definitely want to come back for happy hour and to try more menu items!"
"Great remodel job on the entire restaurant. They always seem short staffed. One pregnant waitress at lunch. I felt like I should hop up and bus tables for her. Comfortable seating overlooking the Cumberland. The shrimp appetizer is delicious. I'd order a side of bread or steal your friend's pizza crust for sopping up the sauce. It's my favorite. Pizza is quite good too. Weekends are very busy. Weekday lunch has been the easiest time to get a table quickly. Very nice outdoor space."

Went there yesterday night for dinner as my first meal in Nashville and got me some Fried chicken sandwich and for the very first time tried tater tots and OMG their food is simply delicious. Chicken was very tender and juicy . Also got a creamsicle ( slushie ish cocktail) and thid too was amazing . It was very very croweded and loud but still had a wonderful time here. Our waitress was really nice , professional and service very fast . You definitely could feel the southern hospitality that's for sure .

Merridee's Breadbasket is a place I've always passed in Franklin, and I finally decided to try it after hearing such great things. It was quite busy on a Saturday, but that's a good thing! The spot is very cute inside, and looks just like the name. I ordered the Ultimate Club. The bread is to die for. It made the sandwich. I'm a sucker for honey mustard on my sandwiches, and that hit the spot.We decided to sit out on their patio where there was plenty of seating which I was worried about when we first got there.

Oh My God! My experience at Nashville Tap House was truly amazing! We arrived just before happy hour and the place was relatively empty, but quickly filled up with a line forming for tables. Despite the crowd, the service was efficient and friendly. We started with appetizers, and the crab Rangoon dip was a standout - it was absolutely delicious. The hummus dip was a bit too spicy for our liking, but the flavors were still good. One of my colleagues ordered the blueberry chicken sandwich, which she said was tasty and came in a generous portion size. Another colleague tried something with Mac and cheese, and I have to say, the Mac and cheese was the creamiest and cheesiest I've ever had!I opted for the shrimp and grits, and I was impressed by the fresh flavors and the special seasoning they used. The shrimp were large and cooked to perfection. Overall, Nashville Tap House is a phenomenal dining spot, and I can't wait to go back with more colleagues when I'm in Nashville for work. The food quality, portion sizes, and overall dining experience make it a must-visit restaurant in Nashville.

"This is my all time favorite coffee shop! It is family owned and has some of the best coffee and breakfast I have ever tasted. My favorite meals include the French toast and the biscuits and gravy, both absolutely delicious! They also have a frozen hot chocolate that is a chocolate dream!"
"I was getting a haircut at Big Daddys barber shop when Bill brings in a plate of food from JPs bar and grille. It looked dang good and everyone was talking about how good the food is. It was lunchtime so off O went. So yes it's a bar. Yes it smells of cigarettes. But the food was amazing. This chicken wrap isn't listed on their menu, but they'll make it for you! Comes with tots, fries, or chips. Every soul in this place was super nice. They will chat with you. I may have to come back and hang out. They have pool tables, cold beer, a bar with specialty drinks, video games, and other activities. The place is huge too. The food portions are big. You probably won't be able to eat all of your meal here."
"Hidden gem alert!!We were out on broadway and wanted to grab something to eat before we left the area. We walked into a few surround bars, food looked lackluster and prices were high for what you would get.We were about to head back to get food closer to where we live, but happened to stumble upon this place. I can't BELIEVE we were able to find a spot like this in the area. Linus and Reuben went above and beyond to make us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. They had a menu that was full of the bar food favorites, but they also had items that were very unique, like their chicken tikka sandwich. We ordered a bunch of food - all great portion sizes, all cheaper than restaurants nearby (like the stillery) and all were amazing bites.Normally when you walk into a bar, on a street like broadway, you get what you get and there isn't a "need" for staff to pay too much attention to you. That was not the case here at all. We were taken care of, and anytime we are in the area, this is where we will be grabbing some bites!"
"Good Mexican food at decent prices and great service. They have a happy hour Sunday brunch, however the mimosa, IMO, had a weird taste. The ribeye quesadilla and Caesar saladwere good. Also, only in the south--if you sit outside you have this cool fly repellent fan."
"Don't let the spot scare ya away. It's kinda hidden but worth the stop. I would put the place in my top 10 best dive burgers. The burgers we awesome !!"
"I hadn't been to Rafferty's in 10 years or so. I went with two other adults and a child. It was Friday night so I thought we'd have to wait, but it was not crowded so we were seated at once. Oh, it was cold! The air conditioning was on full blast and other customers were cold. We asked to waiter to see if it could be turned down; he said he had and soon it began to warm up. Soon a manager came by to see if we were comfortable.Service was quick and the waiter checked on us several times. I had the California Burger with bacon. Fried were my side. Food was good and plentiful. There was a child's menu and the grilled cheese sandwich sounded good; I would have liked it.The place is a bit tired. The men's restroom was not as well taken care of as I hoped, but acceptable. I didn't have an alcoholic drink as I had sweet tea which was fine. The manager checked on us several times. It's an OK place and must do well as it's been there for a number of years. Bring it up to date and it'll be fine. I had a nice time and left FULL!"
"this saloon in the heart of Nashville on the main strip had really great snacks. I treated everyone to a couple different appetizers and we annihilated the plates. There wasn't much left after we had a couple drinks needed to munch on something we got the pretzels, which were extremely soft and absolutely huge. It came with some special garlic cheese dip that I've never had in my life before, and it was addicting. The chips were fantastic. I like the way they cut it up and mix everything up. It has some kind of spicy cake that was definitely at the table. Lastly, I got the chicken tenders, which was mixed with fries and it was the perfect comfort food that we needed to weigh down the drinks and keep us going for the rest of the night. The bartender was really fantastic and honestly, the service was really sweet."
"Wow! Just wow! A classic hotel lounge that drips with elegance and was probably way too fancy for me to be in, but I'm all about it! We sat at the bar and ordered a few cocktails and the Charcuterie to nosh on. Not only was it beautiful to look at, but it was filled with amazing meats, cheeses, fruit and other accompaniments. Perfect before a night out in town. Sitting at the bar was perfect as it was quiet, and the bartender was great with explaining their signature cocktails. I got the Last Word which has gin, luxardo maraschino liqueur, green chartreuse and lime. Super unique, and a great take on a gin based beverage. Hoping to stay by this spot downtown again as to once again start the night here."
"I'm a longtime Snoozer, and have made it my own personal mission to dine at as many Snoozes around the country as possible. My husband and I recently grabbed brunch at this location in East Nashville, and experienced truly exceptional service from Dominique. If you're not joining the waitlist ahead of time via the Yelp app ... what are you even doing?!? This is seriously the biggest brunch hack. When the Sunday Scaries hit, just pull up Snooze's Yelp page and join the waitlist. Then, you have a good estimate for when you'll be seated at the table. Sometimes the waitlist even moves a little quicker than estimated, which is always a win! When you arrive, you just check in at the host stand and let them know you're already on the waitlist. We were seated less than five minutes after arriving at the restaurant. I especially recommend this at this location, because they were absolutely slammed on a Sunday morning. Also - parking is easy peezy behind the restaurant, and it's free for your first 90 minutes! We were seated outside, which was actually really pleasant before the heat of the day. Our server Dominique was a rockstar - she was extremely attentive and offered great recommendations throughout our meal.I've eaten my way through most of the Snooze menu at this point, and can't say there's anything I wouldn't recommend. This time, I went with the Chilaquiles from their summer menu, which were absolutely delicious! I also love to add on a single pancake - the Sweet Potato Pecan is my favorite. If you've yet to hit Snooze, add this spot to your brunch plans ASAP. Plus ... if you visit on weekday, they have awesome drink specials! (We're talking $5 Bloody Mary's, which I don't think you can get anywhere else in East Nashville? Correct me if I'm wrong!!)"
"AMAZING burgers and sweet potato fries. I had the burger of the day which was when in roam. It had chipotle pimento cheese, American cheese, sweet jalapeños and crispy fried onions. The flavors were amazing!I could eat a burger from here everyday! We finished our meal with fried Oreos .... omg so delicious! Great little atmosphere with the cutest best server, Lauren! We will be back!!"
"Wow! One of the BEST salmon salads I have ever tasted! I requested the Hickory Grilled Chicken Salad to be replaced with Salmon and two more people beside me opted for the same! Great service, delicious biscuits, and wonderful atmosphere. I will definitely be returning when back in town."
"#89/2022Ah yes still there interstate 40 Lebanon Tennessee on the outskirts of town it's good old Uncle Pete's little truck stop and Cafe.Old school all the wayLooks like it hasn't been remodeled since about mid-1980s lol but that's all good it's got its own little quaint charm still. No longer 24 hours like back in the day open daily till the early evening hours still has a steady clientele of locals not just truck drivers Basically this is a review for the whole thing someone has a really created the page for the store but it's a small little convenience store, bathroom, showers, the cafe still has lots of great home cooking on the menu. daily specials Coffee cups in the thousands still. Basically Pete day when someone would give him a coffee cup from their company or wherever when Pete got to it he would drink a cup of coffee and hang it up. He still does in fact he's adding on now to the shelving where the coffee cup racks are. I came in hungry wanted a good old-fashioned breakfast sat down got some coffee ordered up a country breakfast two eggs soft scrambled, sausage patties, and I went with the biscuits and gravy instead of toast. Food was really good I had no complaints. Still a great little place for some good home cooking it's bypass by manyb because right up the road at the next few exits in Lebanon are all your big chains. Parking can be a little bit tight too for a big rigs because there's a lot of drop trailers that people pay to park their stuff in spaces now they still have trailer washouts if you got to go pick up some food product down the road no truck washes just washouts. There is now if you need bathroom at night time a quick trip across the street that just recently opened and a few other things nearby when they shut down for the night.I could definitely say after revisiting if they are open and I'm ready to strap on the old feed bag I'll definitely be making an appearance here more often I always forget about it as I'm zipping across 40 back towards Nashville"
"I have been to Mr. Js quite a few Saturday mornings mainly because of its proximity to my house...it's literally a minute or two walk. I have always got the Sausage and egg burrito for $8. Hands down the best burrito in the Nashville downtown area. It's big, real eggs and cheese, the tortilla tastes great and the sausage is favorable. In addition, the price point is spot on. I also this week tried the pancakes which were good quality and fairly priced at $5 for 2. The big issue with this place is the staffing. They are under staffed for the traffic they get. There should be 2 in the back of the house and 1 in the front of the house, at least. This would help them push out orders. Although my food was fantastic, I waited 40 min for it. Should be 10 min tops for this setup. I give them a 4 in hopes that they correct this because I really want them to succeed because I can see it from my house and the food is great!"
"We've been going here for years. The current owners our doing a fine job. We sat outside and enjoyed the evening until karaoke started. The food was served promptly. The fish and chips were delicious! Our British friends approved. I loved that they were using biodegradable straws to help the aquatic life. Karaoke was WAY too loud and only one person got up from the crowd. The dj's young daughter sang. Great to give a child experience but she was also way to loud and definitely needed to be turned down. Another family was there with their dog. The dog was well behaved but the two children were running around the tables. I felt sorry for the staff dodging the kids. The interior could use a bit of love. I liked the ladies room was reconfigured. Cherokee was doing a fine job."
"If Johnny Rockets, a New Jersey Diner and a 90's Applebee's had a love child...Dalts American Grill would be it. Dalts is located on White Bridge Road near the Target and directly in front of the Trader Joe's. For the most part it is your all American diner with an expansive menu featuring diner classics such as burgers, chicken tenders, meatloaf, chicken and dumplings and salads combined with omelets, tacos, pizza and seafood plus desserts of course! The weirdest part of the menu and the mark of a true diner is the "Steak, Ribs & Omelet" section...because you know you always trying to decide between a NY Strip, rack of ribs or veggie omelet! For our meal I went with a diner classic, Patty Melt sided with hashbrown casserole and my partner went the club with fries. The Patty Melt was cooked to temp and overall was a solid burger. I chose white bread in lieu of the rye, personal preference, and the Texas toast held up well. It was the opposite story on the other end of the table as the club was not as successful and the fries were just terrible. The bread for the club was chewy and the filling of the sandwich kept falling out. It was not a well constructed sandwich unfortunately. Before I move on from the food, you do get complimentary biscuits/rolls upon being sat. When you visit a diner, you expect lots of shiny metals, gaudy furnishings, eccentric lighting and artwork...and Dalts has it all. The vibe is "old", but kind of a dated-old as the booths, tables, flooring, ceilings, etc...are quite run down. As I continue to describe Dalts, I struggle a tad as it really is a mix of vibes from the bar that looks like it belongs in a seedy local dive bar, to the large wooden banisters in the dining room combined with the open-air kitchen behind the stainless bar to the standard seating private dining room. Service was decent. There were a lot of servers and staff on during our visit, but service was still decently slow. She was friendly and accurate, and we were not in a rush, so all was well on that end. Overall, we are glad we experienced Dalts given it's place in the local scene. While I do not believe we will go out of our way to dine at Dalts, I can see this as a place my parents would enjoy, so I will be happy to bring them by during visits."
"Fat Bottom Brewing is a great brewery with lots after ambiance and a great selection of craft beer. The staff here is very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend this brewery."
"Love this restaurant! Best meat and three in town! Everything is also so fresh, and the staff is super friendly. Don't miss out on catfish on Friday's!"
"Love this bar. Dark, open, great bar and good food. Nice servers. Good selection of beer and served very cold. Great place for lunch, day drinking, end of the work day or last stop of the night!"
"Love the while vibe here. It definitely has a "neighborhood pub" vibe. Plenty of free parking. Clean and old school. Great beer and cocktail selection with good prices and specials. Each day has a different deal. Our server was fantastic. We just had drinks and appetizers this time but will be back for a full meal soon! My wife loved the Espresso Martini which she said was really strong. I stuck with a few local beers."
