Nashville City Kitchen

I was surprised by this place! It gives that down home , home made , after church meal , community vibe. The food is so good it tastes like your mama cooked it herself! I had the vegetarian spaghetti, that's right, you have a choice between regular or vegetarian. It was the best spaghetti i have had in years and I'm pretty sure I'll be thinking about it for a long time to come. The owner was really nice! The staff was friendly, and everything was clean and tidy. The decor is cute and it's a very family friendly atmosphere. If you want to support a local black owned business this is definitely a great place to start.

What can I say??? This was a great experience. Great atmosphere, and everyone I saw come in was right at home. They had a DJ tonight which added some flair. I got the pork chops which were perfectly seasoned. Try the deviled eggs as an appetizer and add some meat! Our waitress, Jailan, was amazing. Even though it was busy, she checked on everyone (with a smile on her face) in her area with no complaints or grumbling from anyone. This was a great experience and a must for anyone visiting Nashville. It is right by the stadium

They confirmed our online reservation kmowing damn well they weren't open to serve. I knocked on the door with people standing inside, and they turned their back on us. I hope this business fails and loses everything invested! You can't treat new customers like this and expect to be successful.

They have the best fried pickles I've ever had! The night we went they had Bingo going. It was fun. I do not recommend this place if you are going to try and conversate with someone. It was very loud. The food was okay. I didn't care for the Mac and cheese at all, it wasn't worth the money. The chicken was pretty good. My BF had the pork chop sammich tossed in Buffalo sauce. It was good. I'd go again just for the fried pickles though.

Some of the best food and service I've had in Nashville. Everyone and everything was amazing. Personal faves were the fried chicken and Mac and cheese but everything was incredible. Definitely out this place on your list, plenty of parking and right off the highway. Also a great stop before or after Titans games. We'll be back for sure!

Nashville city kitchen has the best catfish in Nashville ( so far). This is a hidden in plain site gem. Run don't walk! Good food, good vibes, good service and Wait....Free Parking!!! The catfish was succulent and cooked to order. Fried okra was perfection. The drink Liquid Marijuana.... need I say more?? Check them out!
