Nasai Teriyaki at UW

We didn't know what we wanted for dinner but when my girlfriend and I saw this "hole in the wall"/"mom and pop" teriyaki joint, we thought "hell yeah!" To our delight, this place did nothing but impress. The Katsu was amazing, the chicken teriyaki was the best I've ever had, and their garlic sauce was to die for. Additionally, the portion size was more than generous, the salad was even in its own container. Given the fact that my girlfriend lives at UW, I'm sure we will be back.

This place served a very big portion of chicken teriyaki! I loved the rice! It had the perfect bite to it! The chicken teriyaki came with a side of salad! The chicken was a bit dry, but it didn't make me disappointed. I also ordered a side of gyozas, but let me tell you. This got me disappointed. The side of gyoza costed $4.99 but you only get 4 pieces. That makes each piece to be $1.25. I wish they would have gave more. The sauce for the gyoza was delightful! It was a bit sour but also sweet! They also included a what I believe to be kinda sweet soy sauce for the rice! All in all, I'd say decent portions but you can probably get gyozas somewhere else for cheaper. I would only come here if I was truly craving teriyaki. The workers were very friendly and kind. Definitely would give the workers a 4.5/5!

Exceeded my expectations as far as quality and amount of food. We ordered 4 items and it was too much food for 4 people. Chicken teriyaki was delicious and chicken fried rice was excellent. Sweet and sour chicken was very good. All pieces of chicken were good and sauce was not light but not gross.

We stumbled across this hole in the wall while walking through the u district. The pictures out front drew us in. The teriyaki chicken with gyoza and a soda for $15 was a pretty good deal. It tastes great! They had a jug of teriyaki sauce sitting out if you needed some extra sauce. The yakisoba was very good, too. It had a lot of veggies in it.

Got lured in by the sign outside the door; expected more than I got for some reason. Tiny bit on the pricy side, but altogether just pretty unremarkable food. The salad was notably not very good, the dressing was kinda strange. If I was on the Ave and I really wanted teriyaki, it'd get the job done, but as it stands, I feel like there's so many better places to go a stone's throw away.... hard to recommend. Just OK.

I used to come here from the 90s until we moved away in 2017. It used to be my favorite teriyaki. They always had all the sauces in abundance, and the chicken was sooo moist and tender. I came back, excited to hit my favorite teriyaki joint. All the sauces have been removed, no teriyaki sauce was given with the meal, there was not a single hot sauce available. I was willing to pay for it, they had nothing. And worst of all, the chicken was really dry. I needed to wash it down with water. Objectively speaking, it is my worst teriyaki experience to date. And I can't hardly remember too many bad teriyaki experiences.

The food was not flavorful, the chicken was dry, and the beef was too chewy and quite frankly tasted like left over beef. The service was decent, the cashier was stingy with the hot sauce and teriyaki sauce.

Delicious, a good size serving. Will eat there again. I called and placed the order (chicken yakisoba) and it was ready when promised.

I wanted to like this place, but the food was overpriced, and not very tasty. I ordered the hot vegetables. Since when does a sautéed mix of cabbage, carrots, and broccoli (no proteins) with white rice and a nearly flavorless sauce cost $13.31?
