Napoli Italian Deli and Catering

A no-frills local Italian joint, which offers cheap and delicious food for any time of the day.$8.50 for a delicious Italian sandwich is unheard of! This is one of my go to places for a quick lunch. Their Italian sandwich isn't loaded with meat, but I prefer it that way. Another favorite menu item of mine is the saltimbocca, which is so big, it could be split for two people. I have yet to try their desserts in store, but they look delish, and can't wait to try them. I'd recommend calling ahead, as I can get busy during the lunch rush.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Napoli tonight. I had heard so many good things about the restaurant that I was excited to be going there. I was told to order the veal saltambucca but that I might want to get extra sauce. I ordered and it was quite a wait as they do a great deal of take out business. The veal was very tough and the sauce was extremely salty. When the meal was over the bill came. We were charged $4 each for extra sauce and we paid by credit card. Our server brought back the receipt and said we didn't have to sign the receipt.... We thought that was odd so we asked our server... her response was "that's your bill but the tip has to be in cash"... I've never heard of this before. First and last trip here.

We've lived in the area forever but somehow never made it into this spot until today. We were missing out! Warm, friendly service, great prices, and HUGE portions of the best Italian food. My son and I feasted on the giant chicken parm sandwich with provolone and a gargantuan chicken tender platter today. Everything was delicious and we took most of it home. I want to come back and try the cold Italian sandwiches and salads as well as their catering options!

EVERYTHING is delicious, the owner and all staff are great. Truly a neighborhood staple for those of us who are lucky enough to live in the neighborhood. It is truly worth a try. Believe me you will keep trying everything on the menu! Chicken parm is off the hook!

Heard lots of buzz about this place. Super busy for lunch on Friday. Old school vibes. Wish there was more variety with the sandwiches, but pretty good stuff overall.

Quite possibly the worst hot eggplant grinder I have ever eaten. Paper thin slices of practically non-existent eggplant (except for plenty of visible seeds), heavily coated in mostly breading. Had to really work to discern any flavor of eggplant - or actual eggplant, to be honest. The twisted Italian bread roll had just a mere spread of marinara sauce on each side, and the bread itself had a repulsive odor and off tasting flavor; perhaps some type of chemical or preservative or spoiled yeast. I was able to eat about 4 bites before I gave up and threw it away. I came here because of all the glowing reviews, and I am accurately describing my own experience as a first time customer. Not knowing what is popular or what to order, I ordered one of my favorites. I was extremely disappointed and not pleased to have wasted over $11 for that extremely poor quality grinder.

I've heard a lot of chatter about Napoli Deli for awhile now and was really excited to try them out. We went around noon time on a Saturday and it was all a little confusing where to order or if you sat down if someone would wait on you? We waited in line for a little bit and we ended up asking someone sitting at a table nearby and he said that they would come to the table, so we sat and waited and finally we went up to order at the counter. They were doing table service, but we just hadn't seen anyone up to this point waiting on tables, they did bring our order to us when it was done. They have about a half dozen tables and they do a really busy takeout business, there were so many people in and out ordering and picking up takeout orders. We ordered sandwiches...my husband a pastrami and I got a meatball grinder. Husband said the pastrami was good and my meatball was ok, nothing special. I think maybe we ordered the wrong thing, maybe their specialty is their pasta dishes? Not sure if we should give them another try when we're out that way and order something different, because this place is really popular.

I have never had a bad meal here. My go to is a side of Chicken Parmesan with no bread or pasta. The service is always great. The place is nothing fancy but makes you feel welcome. The food is top notch. You will never go wrong with one of Rob's great daily specials.

They also have a daily and monthly menu something for everyone from steak and lobster to killer pizza and A1 sandwiches. You can't go wrong. Thanks Rod. PS homemade desserts too.

Service is horrible shouldn't take 20minutes for a tuna sandwich. Food is just okay at best.
