This is one of the busiest places in Bellevue! They have pastries, desserts, soft-serve ice cream and onigiri. Most of the menu is tailored around matcha green tea, hojicha, a roasted green tea, black sesame, and red bean. They make a wide variety of parfaits, scooped ice cream, and pastries. My favorite pastry is the matcha roll cake. I'm not a fan of the matcha latte, hot, or cold, but that's just me. The brown sugar matcha parfait rocks! Love the salmon onigiri! It makes for a nice quick lunch for me.I go star down because the place is run like a factory. Yes, it's busy, but would a little warmth, and good hospitality kill the wait staff at the front? I could use an automatic checkout system and get more personality. The dining room is Japanese pleasant. A touch austere, but a nice place for people to sit and chat while enjoying some really wonderful Japanese treats!

Pro tip: You can come here to get validation for 2 hours of free parking at Venn. They offer drinks and some pastries for less than $8, which is the Venn parking fee, so you might as well stop by and get something :) Another pro tip -- if you get the soft serve, cup/cone/cup+cone options all cost the same amount, so get that waffle cone :DI've tried the hojicha soft serve with chocolate crunch + mochi, as well as the hojicha chocolate latte (you might see a trend here, lol). Both were quite good! The latte was a tad on the sweet side for me, so if they had an option to adjust sweetness (I didn't see one when I was there), I might pick like 25-50% sweetness level. The soft serve and waffle cone were delicious! My only nit with the mochi topping was that each piece of mochi was pretty big, which made it a bit more difficult to eat.

Nana's has locations in Seattle and Bellevue, and I've only ever been to the Seattle one. They have my absolute favorite black sesame ice cream, so when I came to the Bellevue location that's exactly what I ordered. While the flavor was spot on and exactly what I love, the texture of this one felt a bit icy and not as thick and creamy as what I'm used to, hence the 4 star rating. However, the space is nice and there's a lot of good seating inside. Maybe it was an off day, so I'd still recommend trying!

We love all Nana's Green Tea but this one is extra great because of the hojicha soft serve! We live near the South Lake Union location and they don't have hojicha as a soft serve. Service was friendly. It was pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon. We were able to find street parking. This cafe is smaller than the downtown location but the atmosphere is really nice

Not a matcha expert so I was a bit intimidated when I first walked in and was presented with a plentiful selection of matcha desserts, drinks, and pastries. Everything looked beautiful, delicious and delicate. The staff is very friendly and helpful when asking for recommendations. You receive a buzzer when you order and it'll go off once the order is ready. I hope to try more items in the future. I haven't explored the menu very much

One of my fave dessert places in Seattle! Among their regular offerings, I love the matcha soft serve and the baked goods like black sesame or matcha croissant. I've had a lot of matcha soft serves before, and this one ranks pretty high. Their matcha cheesecake is just okay though compared to some others I've had in SoCal. But my all time favorite is their seasonal menu, hojicha soft serve! Has a strong hojicha flavor and so soft and creamy! I wish they had it as a permanent offering. Their other seasonal cherry blossom soft serve was a let down though.. didn't really taste the cherry blossom. But I will always come back whenever they have the hojicha ice cream, and if I'm craving matcha desserts! The place is casual and we usually grab and go. The service is fast, and you can get your parking validated so that's super convenient. It's usually pretty crowded on weekends so might be hard to grab a seat.

Our friends took us here and we loved it! They have a wide variety of different coffee and teas, and Japanese pastries, desserts, and savory snacks. We tried the honjichi cold brew and tea, the black sesame parfait, the Sakura seasonal croissant, the apple azuki danish, matcha croissant and matcha parfait. My favorite was the apple azuki danish - so yummy and unique with the red bean paste. I also loved the black sesame parfait which reminded me a lot of halo halo with mochi, cornflakes, red bean paste, jelly and more! Tge ice cream was so nice and creamy! The Sakura croissant was so nice and flaky and I enjoyed the filling and icing. Staff were very nice and efficient. My only complaint is that it's small with not a lot of seating so come early or during off hours!

Some friends and I met up here on a Saturday after lunch and it surprisingly wasn't too busy. There isn't much room between the door and the register, so I'd imagine it could get pretty backed up on a busy day if you don't know what you're ordering. We got a smattering of items: the sakura mochi roll, hojicha roll, sakura parfait, black sesame parfait, matcha soda, matcha latte, and a black sesame latte. I wouldn't say I was blown away by anything in particular, which is unfortunate since everything visually was very lovely. The roll cakes were dry, even with the extra filling. The mochi in the sakura roll was a nice addition, but I was not a fan of the incredibly strong punch of tea that was a paste in the center of the hojicha roll. The parfaits looked nice, but was nothing special. I've had some really good ones in Japan (even at a Denny's!), but I wouldn't drive all the way back to Nana's for this unless I was already in Bellevue. The toppings were fun and carried most of the flavor, so be sure to mix them in.FYI - there is a parking garage underneath Nana's, and they do validate parking, so you don't need to pay for a lot nearby.

Best. Matcha. Latte. In. Town. Now let me say this again in a complete sentence. Nana's Green Tea serves the best matcha latte in town, hands down. Alongside their amazing lattes, they offer a variety of delicious green tea snacks and goods that are equally impressive. While there is another spot called Matcha Magic across the street, it simply doesn't compare to Nana's, not by a long shot.Parking: There is 2-3 hour parking available in front of the store, but it can get very busy during peak hours, such as lunch and dinner time.Tip: If you prefer a stronger flavor, you can request extra scoops of matcha in your drink.Hours: The store opens after 10am.

Love this ice cream place. Ambiance is nice and relaxing with large windows and a very japandi style decor. Their ice cream (especially matcha and vanilla) is great - natural full tea flavour without being too bitter nor too sweet. You can ask for a sample if you aren't sure which one to get. I enjoy their lattes as well however ice cream is still the standout item on their menu! I generally go for plain mix of vanilla and green tea however the sundaes are great (but personal preference - I am ok without having the additional toppings) During non peak hours this is a great place to sit as it is quiet and calm. Service is nice and attentive when ordering, they answer your questions and let you take your time. Overall a great place to stay for an hour.
