Naked Q BBQ

Aloha Hawaiians,Yesterday I ordered DoorDash from this place. I had a two meat platter of pulled brisket and pork. I also ordered the pulled chicken platter. Platters come with two sides and cornbread. The food was delicious. I am literally on my chair chanting Po-ta-to salad. It was that good I'm about to order another vat of it today. The pulled chicken catches my fancy this go around so tender so delicious and smokey, I almost forgot the sauce.Cowboys and gals giddy up for this authentic bbq experience. This is the location on Bell. Go early and make sure you're hungry. Once you're done you're gonna say damn I want more of something you just ate. For me it was potato salad and corn bread.

I'd put up the smoked meats here against anywhere else in the valley. Even those 'Lil' places. The Jalapeño hot links are 100 out of 10! All the other meats, 5/5. The sandwiches on the other had are 2/5. Meat on a bun is not a 'sandwich'. To be a sandwich requires condiments and fixins' - maybe an onion ring, slaw, cheese, greens, onions, a combination of meats......anything other than just meat on a bun. I may still go for a beef rib at the other place on a Friday or Saturday. Other than that, this is my 'go to' for BBQ.

A two meat platter costs $17.38 which is what I ordered. I decided to try their brisket (you can either get this sliced or chopped) and jalepeno hot link along with two orders of mac n cheese since a platter already comes with one cornbread. They have a vegetable of the day side but I decided against it since they weren't making one that I liked. This two meat platter is more than enough for me to get full. The only thing I didn't finish is half of a sliced brisket. I have to say that I liked the jalepeno hot links the most even though it wasn't spicy at all. They have spicy and sweet BBQ sauce too. The entire meal was absolutely delicious.

Well, this was an unexpected surprise. Yelp led me here for dinner last Friday night as I'm always interested in a good bbq restaurant. Naked BBQ is located very close to I-17 on the end cap of a strip center with parking out front. Inside, it's a counter service restaurant with a smallish dining area next to a self serve drink fountain. Two bbq sauces are also available there. A sweet one and a spicy one.I asked for a two meat platter with two sides for $16. I chose sliced brisket and pulled chicken with beans and potato salad. The platter also came with some cornbread and is prepared in front of you as it is selected.Immediately, I noticed the very generous serving sizes of everything on the platter. It was a lot of food and a steal for $16. The brisket was moist cut (with fat) and had a nice bark on it. It was tasty and tender with good flavor. The pulled chicken was also flavorful and tender and with some of the sweet sauce on top delicious. I also tried some of the spicy sauce and found it to be only slightly spicy so I enjoyed it also on the meats. The baked beans had some brisket in them (a plus) and were in a savory broth. I enjoyed them. Finally the potato salad was served cool and while mayo based also had a little bit of mustard and along with the other ingredients was quite good tasting too. With the moist cornbread, I could find no fault with this meal. My only very slight criticism (no stars deducted) is that I thought both bbq sauces while flavorful were a little bit runny. I would have liked more body to them however I am nitpicking.This meal was a 4+ and when I add the price and large serving sizes, I must give a 5 here. This is an excellent BBQ restaurant!

Got a two meat combo and brisket and Ribs were awesome !!!Tried Carolina coleslaw and was strong but a great compliment to the meat.Potato salad was also good!!Did I say it was good! Best in the valley !!

We almost missed this place because Naked Q BBQ is almost hidden from the main street. Yesterday's lunch was brisket platters--chopped for hubby and sliced for me. The one meat meal comes with two sides and I chose potato salad (very good) and coleslaw (outstanding). I'm used to being served soggy, overdressed coleslaw so when the large portion of fresh, crispy cabbage appeared I was impressed. Maybe I was just lucky but there were no big hunks of the tough, fibrous core thrown in and I ended up eating most of this first. You collected your own drinks and there was a dispenser for the plastic utensils. The beef was plentiful (I couldn't finish) and you could select your sauces to get the perfect amount. This place is small and we timed things right. The small dining area quickly filled up with workers from nearby businesses. This was a lot of bang for your buck--great taste, ample portions, and a reasonable price.

We got pulled pork platter. My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised at how good the meat and all the sides were! We are definitely visiting again!

Good bbq, was a little hard to find in the corner of the strip mall. Knew it was going to be good once I smelled the bbq when I walked in.

Decided to check out this hidden gem and it did not disappoint! The convenience of its location near my home is definitely a plus. The BBQ options were incredibly tasty, especially the jalapeno hot links paired with the tangy mustard sauce - absolutely amazing! The ribs also exceeded my expectations...
