Nak Won Korean Cuisine

I come to the market about once a month and always come to Nak Won because the food is delicious. But last time I came, I ordered stone pot bibimbap and I was disappointed. Rice was hot, but all the toppings (including meat!) were cold. Hopefully it was a one-time thing. I am still planning on coming back.

This is located inside a food court area attached to an asian grocery store. We were driving through town, and intended to stop by the dumpling place next door (also in the food court), though they were closed. Nak Won looked good, so we went for it. We had bibimbap, and a beef-bone soup. I'd skip the soup, but the bibimbap was excellent. Everyone was served 3 or 4 banchan, which were good.

First off, finding the place is interesting. It's in side, the market in the back in the food court. We had a very nice gentleman who we asked where it was and he said oh yes, yes inside and took us there. The food was pretty good. Your order at the counter, and then they bring it out to you. Very traditional Korean street/market food.

Inside pal do world. dukkbokki was mouthwatering delicious. my friend loved her o-jing-oh bokum. Our mouths were burning in delight because it was spicy and delicious! I wish you were closer to home.

We were so delighted to have discovered this place and excited to try their food. However, we were very much disappointed afterwards. The food tasted very sweet during the meal. What prompted me to give a three star rating is after we left we didn't feel good. The food had too much MSG and both my wife and I have minor allergy to MSG. I think if the food wasn't too sweet and without MSG, we would have enjoyed them.

Love this little spot inside pal do world. The prices are very reasonable, the service was friendly and quick and the food was all delish! The portions were very large. My son and I both ate as much as we could and still brought home large portions.I can't tell you how this compares to other Korean food because I have had very little. I found everything delish and appreciated that I got my chili sauce on the side so I could make my bibimbap as spicy as I wanted. I feel like a good indicator that a restaurant is good is when people Of that culture eat there regularly. I also love that the food court has a Chinese place, korean, sushi and the other one looked like it might be Filipino?I was impressed with the complimentary sides we were brought as well! We were brought three sides initially, kimchi, fried fish cakes and some bean sprout dish? They were all great! The lady who worked there asked me if I'd like some miso soup too so I said Yes! Everything was fresh, tasty and so aesthetically pleasing. I wish I knew what everything was but we tried it all and I'll definitely be back. (Ive actually been a few times previously.)

Their food is usually fully packed but today.. I got half an order for full price. Disappointed.

Still eating there 15 years later. There seem to be new owners and while we miss the friendly faces of the previous owners, the food has stayed fairly consistent. The menu has slightly changed but the food is great. This restaurant is inside PalDo.

This is absurd with the price and how much you get. Highway robbery. Not to mention the quality has just gone downhill. Not what it used to be.
