The food is average at best. Soggy crispy tacos wasn't doing it for me. I know Mexican food being from LA but it's pricey for what it is. When I asked for an extra side of salsa they said it would cost 3.50 per salsa. Have you ever heard something like this at a real Mexican restaurant. Highway robbery. Avoid. Many better places on Mass ave.

The best taco is always from the food truck! We walked by this taco truck and decided to try it, and it did not fail us! I love the sauce coming with the chorizo taco, nicely blended with the onion and cilantro. Great snack for the day!

OMG! Let me first say I visited the brewery food truck and not the Newburyport Street truck, but I'm sure it's the same! We got smoked tofu tacos and street corn. The blue corn taco shells were perfect, the tofu was perfectly smoked and crispy and the toppings were fresh and delicious. I love street corn but find some too cheesy (which takes away from the roasted corn) but not here. The cheese was just enough to to get the taste of it but allowed for the corn to be the main focus of the dish. And the portions are big for the price. It was so good I forgot to stop and get a good picture.

It's been 2-3 weeks since I visited Boston and I still am thinking about these tacos and the corn. I'd highly recommend getting a combo so you can get a little bit of everything.

Naco Taco is delicious! They offer a variety of taco and torta selections and a few combo value meals (two tacos + a side or a torta + a side). Conveniently parked right on Newbury Street, they attract lots of customers and offer quick, efficient service. I always get their bistec taco, which consists of grilled steak, a smattering of avocado spread, cheese, and a chipotle crema. They don't skimp on their fillings! You can always expect lots of flavorful steak strips. The steak and avocado combination is amazing! They go together so well. :- ) I've tried their chorizo taco, which was very delicious. I love potatoes, so this was the perfect taco. It consisted of potato chunks, cilantro, bits of onion, and a chipotle-tomatillo sauce. I've also tried their smoked tofu taco, which consists of refried beans, salsa, crema sauce, and a few chunks of fried tofu. I found this taco to be lacking when compared to the bistec. The refried beans didn't help the dryness, either! The salsa addition was probably the best part because it added some pizzazz to an otherwise plain taco. If you're looking for bold flavors, I'd recommend the bistec and chorizo tacos!

Tldr: great tacos. I've been to the Cambridge location and this place is a lot better. Not sure why or how but I don't remember needing to go back to the Cambridge location but this place? This place for sure is going to be hit up every time I'm on newbury street. I had the fried shrimp taco and also their steak taco and both were excellent. The shrimp beautifully fried with a delicious sauce on top. Can't wait to eat back here again.

Love Naco Taco. Perfect location right outside Hynes station on Newbury Street. I decided to get the taco combo (2 tacos & 1 side) with pulled pork and shrimp tacos with a side of corn. The sauce on the corn is delicious. The pulled pork has chipotle aioli sauce, which makes it a little spicy, but the radish on top cools it down a little. The shrimp fills the little taco shell and it crispy and tasty. I'd definitely recommend this if you're in the area often, since they're open everyday from 11-8PM. P.S. The torta here is cheaper than at their storefront location on Mass Ave.

A-OK is a pretty good summation of my experience here. Wasn't too hungry, so a single taco was perfect for me. I opted for the "cochinita pibil" (pulled pork is the primary protein). The protein is something they definitely got right. Not only was the pork tender, flavorful (without being overloaded with sauce) but the quantity was on point too. They certainly do not skimp on the amount of meat they put in there, but at the same time it is not an unwieldy mountain for food meant to be held. Like a great burger, however, the meat is only part or the story, you need everything else to work together to make the experience truly great. For me, this is where the taco fell flat on its side. For one there is the sauces (cilantro crema and a chile glaze). These sauces were a little off to the edge, and their quantities and positioning at the bottom did not allow them to shine. If I find myself looking for them as I eat, I know a little more would not have hurt.My second gripe is regards to the fresh/vegetable toppings. While I liked the taste and crunch of the radish, I found it made the taco a bit unwieldy. Rather than have a couple long strips, having more shorter ones would have helped keep the flavor consistent, and made the taco easier to handle.Regarding the cebollitas, I don't recall these having a significant impact on the dish, this isn't bad in and of itself, but if they weren't very memorable, making them stand a out a but more would not hurt. Though my review was less than spectacular, I do look forward to returning at some point and trying more of their food!

They make their own masa from scratch! Like, they nixtmalize dried corn and grind fresh masa at their Cambridge location-- thus, they have the most amazing corn tortillas! Also, pro tip, you can buy 5 pound bags of fresh masa from them to make homemade tamales, which I did this year for Christmas, which made me feel like the master of the holiday. Also, their smoked tofu and black bean taco is a delight and a revelation. One taco is the perfect pre-yoga snack (because that's how I roll) and two tacos is the perfect post yoga dinner. Lol

The tacos are firstly massive. I ordered all but the fish and tofu for tacos and they are each so unique. I think the bistec is my favorite just because the guacamole on the tortilla really keeps it from falling apart. Price is $4 per taco regardless of filling which is solid for Boston (don't come for me I know they're cheaper elsewhere but this is New England not SoCal). I was wearing a nice work dress and honestly got food all over my hands and probably face and could not care less I was like an animal it was so good. Also the boxes for the tacos have built in taco stands which is true innovation. They living in 3019.
