Nachos Taco Shop

Best taco shop in the central San Diego area. They never disappoint here. Everything I've tried here is delicious and on point. The red and green sauces are not watery like other places packed with flavor and spice. This time I got pollo asado tacos. Covered outdoor seating available.

I drove by this taco shop a bunch of times and finally had time to stop by and eat here . I had a bean and cheese burrito and boy was it delicious! I highly recommend their bean and cheese burrito. It is very fresh and a good size. The customer service was top notch and the taco shop is clean and adorable.

Nachos Taco Shop appears to be a friendly, family-run business offering drive through pick ups and sit down options inside and outside. The interior has a retro look. The exterior has a covered patio and stone tables and benches with umbrellas. 5/5 five fish rolled tacos: five individual fried fish rolled in a crispy corn taco shell with tartar sauce, fresh lettuce, salsa and cheese. Flavors and textures were bomb! Good reason for this item to be on their storefront. The red salsa is a bit smoky and the green salsa has more acidity. Service staff were friendly and quick.

Still my go to taco shop. They have to be a family run business is probably why they're always busy.

Variety of items. Great tasting hot sauce. Side of nachos were huge-barely made a dent on them so definitely great forsharing. My boyfriend said the potato rolled tacos were soggy-not sure why...mini tacos were flavorful and huge for being mini. Has a drive through although kind of in an odd location for the restaurant as it doesn't really allow a line to build. Nice workers!

The portions here are generous and the food is superb! Staff is friendly and capable. This is our go to Mexican place on this area. Have had their carne asada burrito and the machaca breakfast burrito. From what I've seen, most burritos can easily feed two. And they are tasty!

Solid taco shop! I love their chorizo breakfast burrito. It's massive and the salsa is so good. Service is great and my food came out quick. Will definitely be coming back.

I haven't been here in years so I thought I'd give it a try again. I went thru the drive-thru and ordered 5 beef rolled tacos, came home and ate. I was surprised that it was ground beef and not shredded beef, not what I was expecting. I saw someone else's review that they ordered carne asada chips that had ground beef on it too. I'll go back to my regular taco shop which is very consistent.

I ordered carne asada nachos and they showed up with hamburger meat and tasted like the meat was old. The rolled tacos were more shell and less meat.

HUGE Carne Asada burrito $11.75 & an equally enormous Carne Asada taco $6.33. Both were excellent!The guy taking our order was so nice & friendly. We didn't go inside but from what we could see thru the drive up window, it looked clean & cozy for our neighborhood taco shop. We will definitely come back to Nachos!
