Seasonal veggie sauce was so good. Veggies cooked perfectly with a nice crunchThe Dan Dan noodles with chicken was tasty but nothing to write home about.Lemon mouse with ginger. Excellent flavors. Hate the container makes it hard to get into all of it and there's not much there. The fortune cookie is massive and tastes so good.Overall enjoyed

This spot was so fun and I truly had an amazing time trying all the dishes here. My cousins and I came here for dinner on a Sunday and I was thoroughly impressed with the food and atmosphere here. They have so much on the menu, so there's really something for everyone. For drinks, I tried the Yuzu Lemon Drop and the Garden Gnome. The Garden Gnome was a bit better - really liked the brightness in that one. As for food, the four of us ordered an assortment to share, including the Shacha Water Spinach, Sweet + Sour Brussels Sprouts, Char Siu Chow Fun, Pork + Chive Dumplings, Nasi Goreng, and the Teriyaki Salmon Head. My favorite bites were probably the dumplings and the water spinach. The food here is not super traditional by any means, and it's a bit more "fusion-esque" but I can appreciate that for what it is. I thought they did a phenomenal job with letting the ingredients shine, and portions were larger than expected.Dining here is a bit more of hectic than most dinners around this price point, but it's a very dynamic experience. Service was stellar throughout our meal as well.

I came on a weekday night and it was quite packed so I got a to go order. It was made in about 20-30min. Staff was very friendly. 4/10 Spicy Wild Boar Dan Dan Noodles $26 - Noodles were overcooked so it was more soft than chewy. Flavor overall was mostly sour not that good. Not spicy at all, had to ask for more chili.7/10 Spicy Taiwanese Fried Chicken Thigh $22 - Chicken was very crispy but a bit dry. Skin was seasoned well in terms of flavor but slightly salty! Could use some sauce. It comes with coleslaw which was just ok. 8.5/10 Tea-Smoked Pork Spare Ribs $19 - Half rack of ribs were well cooked as the tea flavor was very infused in the meat! Only downside was it was also slightly dry. Overall a really expensive dining experience that does not live up to food taste nor were portions enough for the cost.

Myers and Chang is an Asian inspired restaurant in the South End which I recently tried despite not being the biggest fan of Americanized Asian restaurants. I was excited since it is both a cocktail bar and restaurant, and although it wasn't terrible, I was a bit disappointed. The drinks were good but for a place advertised as a cocktail bar nothing knocked my socks off. I got dark and foamy (their version of espresso martini) and the depeche which were good not exceptional. I got to try the urban cowboy which I think was my favorite and the yuzu lemon drop which was also very good. I think the Asian flavors in these two were unique and tasted great. The food did not exceed my expectations since to me it was stereotypical average Americanized Asian food. There are very few non-traditional Asian places that I think are better than traditional and this place is sadly not one. The boar dandan noodles were good flavor, but the noodles were overcooked and mushy, and mixed with the boar is was a big greasy mushy mess. The char siu chow fun was my favorite of the two noodle dishes and was actually quite good (especially the sauce and noodle texture) but I was not a fan of the huge overwhelming chunks of ginger. The lemony shrimp dumplings were okay but the only thing I tasted was big chunks of ginger. The eggplant was excellent in my opinion and was my other favorite dish since it was cooked well and very flavorful. The atmosphere was not great either since the only place to sit without a reservation is the tiny bar area in front of the cooks and it didn't feel very upscale inside. The place is surprisingly busy for a restaurant that I thought was average. I think this place is okay depending on what food you prefer but I will not be returning.

This is your sign to visit Myers & Chang and stop by for their dim sum brunch! My husband and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for brunch after traveling around New England. We ate at many renowned restaurants across 5 states, but Myers & Chang was the best food we had by far! We were able to reserve a table on the patio fairly easily through the link on the website and when we arrived the staff were very welcoming. Myers & Chang has an elevated vibe - but still has a few touches that are excellently nostalgic and reminiscent of classic Chinese-American eateries like red paper placemats. They have a full bar and curated cocktails that are a must try and food that serves up complex and satisfying flavors like Taiwanese Dan Dan noodles, spring rolls with duck sauce, Korean fried chicken baos, lemony shrimp dumplings and egg banh mi with soy glazed bacon. Those were all the items we ordered and all of them hit the spot - but the Dan Dan noodles, bahn mi and dumplings were standouts! The fun part is that you get to mark on a piece of paper what you'd like to order, which feels fun! Street parking is available right outside the restaurant and the only critique we had was that we don't live closer to eat at Myers & Chang more often! You have to go!

My favorite items were the tea-smoked ribs and the braised pork belly buns. The ribs were well-seasoned, great sweet and savory balance. The bun was saucy but not soggy. The pickled radish made it taste very refreshing, and the pork belly was extremely tender. The nasi goreng was flavorful and was just the right level of spiciness for me. The biang biang noodles had a chewy texture. It was slightly sour for me but it was still delicious! My friends and I (party of 3) walked in for a Saturday brunch and immediately got seated at the bar. The staff was friendly and food was served quickly after ordering.

We were excited to try this place, since not very often we can find Asian restaurants to serve so many Gluten-Free options. Overall, it would have been 3.5 stars for the food: 4 stars for effort to offer a range of Gluten-Free on the menu, but 3 star for the food we ordered (mixed performance). Service and ambiance were good. We ordered all things Gluten-free to share: - Tofu fresh roll = similar to a spring roll. The tofu is not fried. It is ok, nothing too out of the ordinary. I would not order this one again even though I normally like spring rolls. - Shrimp chips = airy and crispy. - Whole Fish Laht Prik (not pictured) = the best one we ordered. Fried whole fish with citrusy and spicy sauce. Sauce to fish ratio was just right, so that the fish retain crispiness. - Char Siu Chow Fun = The fun noodle was delicate and smooth, but there's not enough in the dish. There's too much sauce (personally, I prefer less sauce in a noodle dish)- Vanilla Bean Parfait with citrus granita = the parfait was too dense, but the rest was good. We couldn't finish the parfait. - Crème caramel = smooth and silky flan paired with bruleed banana. Added crunchiness from white and black sesame seed crips.

Myers & Chang always delivers. It is our go-to brunch spot when we're meeting friends in Boston. It's classy but not oppressively so, creative but with something for everybody, and reasonably priced for a nice restaurant. Our most recent visit highlighted how well they handle allergies, as our friend has a shellfish allergy. We were really impressed by how prepared they were and how comfortable we were in their management of the situation. Meanwhile.. the food was amazing as always! I just finished the leftovers actually and appreciate their rich flavors. We'll keep going back!

Six of us enjoyed a fabulous Sunday brunch here! We had reservations for 11:30 which is when they open. Took a Lyft so we didn't have to worry about parking. They said everything was intended to share and would come out as prepared in random order, so it was always a surprise what was coming next. For 5 of us we shared 13 items, and didn't waste a bite of anything. No doggy bags for us. We were all very full though. The 6th person is a Vegan who was very happy with his 3 items that he ordered. Loved my Yuzu Lemon Drop too.Favorites were the Lemon Shrimp dumplings, the Clams w/Fermented Beans, the roasted root veggies in red miso (carrots & sweet potato), the brussels and the Fried Egg Bahn Mi (even if it was hard to share). Least favorite was probably the wings. A couple folks thought they were too salty. My wing wasn't. I liked it but didn't think the sauce went with it. Everything was loaded with flavor. Dipping sauces all exceptional. All of us loved our experience!
