My Yard Live Beer

This is just a fun place! I'm sure there are several options out there, but we happened to end up at MYL this afternoon to meet with a friend and to catch up. When I arrived, the place was relatively empty but it was still early in the afternoon, so I decided to have a set at the bar and wait for the others to arrive. I didn't catch the bartenders name, but she gave me a menu, asked if she could get anything started for me and had a very pleasant smile and positive demeanor. Once the rest of my group arrived we decided to grab a table that would make it easier to speak with one another. We were given a stack of plates, napkins, utensils and cold water right away and advised the we could order at our convenience utilizing the placard on the table. Normally if I went somewhere and was told I had to order for myself via my phone I would raise an eyebrow and probably be a little annoyed, but in the case of MYL, it really is a great system and it's very fitting for this sort of place. We ordered drinks as well as some food and even though the crowd had since grown, we got our drinks very quickly and our food arrived just a few minutes after the drinks. I ended up getting the Korean fried chicken sandwich with a side salad and my fiancée got the ahi poke bowl. All of our food was hot, well prepared and the portions were sized perfectly.The ambiance of this place is awesome. It's full of games, TVs, energy and is very much like a big backyard hangout. Not sure if it's a regular thing either, but they had some awesome live music outside who was crushing all the song s of my generation and others. Ordinarily my patience for kids running lawlessly around while screaming would be limited, but this is such a fun place for whole families of all ages, you can't be bothered with it here. This place just knows fun! After paying our bill also of which was through the app, we made our way out and we were thanked by the bartender who was initially serving me when I arrived. This place affords a lot of activities, is very open, they have a good beer selection as well as great cocktails and is just an awesome place. I can't wait to come back!

So we came for the Saturday morning brunch and Bingo. Our food runner Eric was friendly and gave his recommendations since we said it was our first time here. Then we were told to order off the QR code and it would start a tab. According to the Facebook ad for the Brunch and Bingo event, doors open at 9:45, first game at 11, second game at 12. The service at the bar looked good, their workers were chatting with the customers and quick to respond.We ordered our food about 10:15 and it came out in a timely manner, but it wasn't as good as we hoped. The hash browns were limp, soggy, and cold. I asked for crispier hash browns and they brought out the replacement ones which were better. The brisket in the tacos was FANTASTIC, so they do meat really well. The pancakes had a unique flavor that I liked, but my cousins did not. They have a bit too much milk in the batter. Eric was attentive to our empty cups at the start and when I asked about the bingo, he said he would confirm the time, but that the game runner had been late the week before. He then let us know that the scheduled first game was actually 11:30. Once the restaurant got busier, Eric was serving all the tables by himself, so he was stretched thin. The non-alcoholic drinks are a blend of table service and self serve, soda fountain in the public space that is self serve but sometimes they refill water for you. Just confusing. So we decided to hang around hoping the game runner would be on time and purchased a game card for the arcade games. They have a good variety and were reasonably priced. We played several rounds of air hockey and waited around for an additional 45 minutes. During the wait Eric checked in on us twice, and let me know when the game runner pulled in the parking lot, and apologized for the delay.When the game runner walked in at 11:35 he took a while to get set up, starting the game at 11:50. The game runner mentioned that the restaurant continues to push back the timing and that the start time is now supposed to be 11:45. He was funny and engaging and full of good puns. They provided the dobbers and the cards, and the prizes were gift card by email. Definitely fun and worth the game since it's free. The playground area looked fun for bigger kids (no toddlers). I came here for the first time this past weekend as they advertised they were going to have games for kids and bands and all these activities. We get there at around 10:30 with a 2 year old and there are no bands going and everything was in the parking lot and it was empty and rather sad looking. It stated there was an obstacle course from 10:00 to 11:00 and there was no obstacle course it was circles the kids were standing on and basically just doing what a worker said like touching their head or touching their toes. We immediately left that area and went to where the playground area was. Like I stated we had a 2 year old with us so he could not really do anything at the playground as it's for ages 5 and Up really. So then we went inside and played a few games. We also did order two cocktails and it was $32 for two cocktails before tip. We had planned on Friends meeting us there but after seeing what a debt it was and expensive drinks and a playground that a 2 year old couldn't utilize we left and went somewhere else. I like the idea of having the play area but they need more things there also we had to stand as there's only like two or three areas to sit. I don't know if I would be back

Where to start. . .Service is abysmal. Time-wise, you'll be in for a fat wait. Food is on the pricier side and the portions reflect it. Don't expect something big and fat. This is lunch primetime, on the light side.Had a burrito - not sure whether it was supposed to be a cold tortilla but at lesst the buffalo chicken inside was good. Had a BLT which was B not LT. Im a bacon diehard, but it was a little lacking. Throw some exotic seasoning in there or something for the $16 it costs!Fries were hilariously good. That counts for something I guess which leads me to the beer!OMG. The beer is legit. The beer is tasty, and real nice. The actual location and decor / ambiance / yard area is super nice.Very mixed visit for me, the beer aficionado in me wants to return for the beer ONLY. Whoever's in charge of the beer gets 5 stars. As a whole its a 2.6-ish.

We Went on a weekday with my sons, it wasnt busy. Lots to do. Great place for kids and adults. The food was decent.

It's a great spot with kids. My daughter and nephew love the treehouse and arcade games. I recently went with my girlfriends and they had a DJ and Karaoke. Check their website; they've always got events. Beers are decently priced. Food is good. You order on your phone, so service is fairly quick. There's also some lawn games.

It has a great atmosphere but the food is terrible. The Bistro steak was well overcooked and the ahi poke was soggy and tasteless. The Mac n Cheese was good. They will definitely need to do better.

My friends and I came to see our fave band ... Ghost Radio. I had never been to this restaurant and my oh my, so good! The food, delicious and reasonably priced. The bartender Ray, kind and super fast. We had an amazing time and I highly recommend! PS bring back Ghost Radio, they are the vibe

So disappointing.. the concept is great but something is off. For a very 'family oriented' restraint, they don't offer crayons or coloring or anything of sorts and their food has unfortunately gone downhill. When they first opened their food and everything was great! But it seems as though maybe management has changed, or maybe the chef in the kitchen... I'm not sure, but the menu selection is fine but taste wise... not so much. As far as beer selection, I also feel this has gone down hill. Where are all the IPA's?? Were beer town! Just my two cents. I would love nothing more for MYL to have better food and better beer options so we can enjoy taking our kids here while having an enjoyable dinner or small bites.
