My Slice of the Pie Pizzeria

Ordered online. It was fast and easy. I picked my order up a few minutes later. The staff were friendly and fast. I got a pepperoni pizza and a dozen wings. Both were really good.

Okay, I kept getting Insta ads about how this had been named one of the best places in AZ for New York style pizza. I had not had pizza in a long time so I was excited to get some and from this place. It did not live up to our expectations. For one, when I have had New York style pizza is was much crisper and thinner crust. I mean I am a believer that even bad pizza is good pizza so I did eat an entire 12" pizza. My main caveat is that it does look like they have some interesting Mexican fusion pizzas like carne asada and pastor style. I did not try those. I went for my standard pepperoni and mushroom just because it is my favorite and I had not had it in a while. I would consider coming back to try one of those specialty pizzas you might not find elsewhere but when it comes to my standard pepperoni I will go elsewhere.The people working there are super nice and provided great service. It is much bigger inside than you might expect from looking at it from the outside.

I ordered an 18" pizza and 12 buffalo chicken wings to be delivered. The pizza was pretty good, but not on the level of the Yelp rating. The wings had color (besides the wing sauce). They almost seemed boiled. It was a pretty bad chicken wing. Maybe I ordered on a wrong night. I had a very forgettable experience.

Came here on a recommendation for a quick, cheap lunch. I got their #2 lunch combo which came with a slice of pizza and salad . The salad was a huge portion and the pizza is more than enough! The slice was a little overdone, but if you like a crunchy crust...it's good! Again, perfect spot for a quick lunch! Will definitely be stopping again to try some more things!

Delicious pizza and great wings!I was having a rough day at work so I wanted to grab something fast for dinner to refuel and keep grinding.We got the half and half 12 inch Al pastor and carne asada pizza and a half dozen order of wings.Wings were crispy and came with your choice of dipping sauce and I opted for the cucumber ranch.The pizza was the star though! The Al pastor was my favorite with grilled pineapple and porky notes playing delightfully off of each other. The carne asada was no slouch as well with so many flavors. Delicious salsa and garlic combined with carne asada on a perfectly cooked crust. Staff was super friendly and it's clear they care about the quality of their food as everything is made fresh. Eat here! You'll def leave with a smile on your face (now I want a 12 inch Al pastor for myself)

This a really great little pizzeria hidden away on East Indian School Road, near downtown. It is clean and well maintained and the staff are friendly and easy going. The pizza I had here is about as close to a New York style pizza I have had since last time I was in Brooklyn. The crust is amazing and flavors are well balanced and delicious. This is perhaps the best pie I've had outside of New York City in a longest time. There are many copy cats that claim to make New York style pizza in the valley. Most simply don't measure up to the bar. This is by far some of the best NY style pizza I've had out side the 5 boroughs. If you have a chance definitely stop in. They sell pizza by the slice. But getting a pie is the way to go. It can get a little pricey so be ready for that. But it's worth it

Had not been here in quite sometime so we placed an online order. It was great because they use toast as the ordering app. We ordered 3 slices of pizza and a meatball sandwich. I do like that the meatball sandwich marinara was on the side so the sandwich was not soggy. It was a really good sandwich. The pizza was delicious and the red sauce was very tasty. We will definitely be bringing this place back into our regular spots. I also like that it's casual attire. Pick up service was great!

I always get the pizza and wing special. The wings always were very saucy and delicious. Last two orders have been very dry. Shouldn't need to order extra wing sauce for these prices!

I'm not from NY, but grew up on the East Coast so I do love me some New York Pizza and know the difference. Thin Crust and it's all about the dough. During Lunch, getting one of the combos is your best bang for the money as you can go with a few options. I went with a Slice, 4 wings & a drink. The slices aren't super big so I went with a 2nd for about $3.50 more. Look to the right of the main wall to check out the specials as the others mix it up and include a Salad and maybe a 2nd slice. Had the lemon pepper wings (dry rub) 4 per the lunch order. The housemade meatballs were tempting, but I knew that splurging for lunch wasn't gonna help my day so I passed... I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to try. Next time, I'm going all in and getting a full Carne Asada pizza.

Used to be my favorite neighborhood pizza joint but over the last year the quality has declined considerably. Repeatedly getting orders wrong and unapologetic about it.
