Happy hour until 7pm, which includes 50% off select appetizers, which are basically all fried food except for the sliders. But that's still a helluva deal - especially in these inflationary times (review written August, 2023). The service is good at this borderline dive bar. To me, any bar with pull tabs is by definition a dive bar. I recommend the chicken, which is almost as good as Marco Polo in Georgetown, but much closer if you're on the East side. They have a ton of pool tables and some dart boards, a good selection of beers and TV's throughout.

This is right down the street and I've never been here before and I was craving a good club sandwich and I also saw they had mud pie and was sold, so I ordered via DoorDash and picked up the order myself. I didn't know we had a pool place, so it's good to know for future reference. The bar was full of regulars and as a younger person coming in I felt like I got some looks. Bar is very old school feel to it, and idk but I got a country or Midwesterner vibe compared to Resonate brewery next door which is very PNW and modern. One of the waitresses gave me my order and I was out the door. I was starving so I demolished this food with a quickness. The club was delicious, the ingredients were fresh, the lettuce is the best tell tale sign of quality and it was tasty, as well as the tomatoes and the ham was very salty so everything was very balanced. The mud pie was not what I was expecting, I was just thinking it was going to be a chocolate creme mud pie, but this was even better, it had nuts (I think they were pecans) and it tasted like a mixture of pralines and chocolate, and that was inhaled. All in all, solid meal, good portions for the price and nice service, I will definitely be back and maybe play some pool next time.

Pretty dingy spot, service was bad and the people that work there were... not very nice. It's definitely a pub where men come to watch sports in a loud environment. They seem to get busy on weekends, not so much on weekdays but it is tucked in a random neighborhood so it also makes sense. At least it's open though; the plaza could really use more things - stores, restaurants, bars.

As always friendly service and good food. Especially the wings! We love this neighborhood bar and family restaurant. From UFC fights to Game days! This is a friendly no drama local establishment. Also a plus, it has plenty of parking!

Seattle area Green Bay Packer bar!!!And they have cheese curds on the menu! This is your standard awesome dive bar that is exactly what I want in a dive. Pool, pull tabs, bunch of TVs, etc.Kid friendly in areas until 9pm most nights I believe.Classic bar food at a reasonable price.Service?? Who cares, you know where you are.I don't do bars often, and almost never with my kids, except at the Seed.

Years ago when we moved into the area we were extremely pleased to find the Mustard Seed! Their food was very good with (in our opinion) the absolute best Beer Battered Cod in the NW! UNFORTUNATELY they have transitioned away from beer batter to a breaded cod that is so-so at best. We have had it twice & both times the breading was bland at best & the fish slightly dried out. On both visits this sure seemed to infer frozen, pre-breaded fish! We ask the waitress why & was given the most lame answer we have heard in a long time. She said: ~"with covid making it hard to find good help we found they couldn't make it properly" & "the breaded style is more popular". Are you serious? Wow, what an answer! So sad as this was one of the main reasons for us visiting The Mustard Seed! Please consider bringing back the main reason we came to your establishment.BTW, Thanks to Ken W for his prompt reply to our post! All the best in finding a new batter mix. I am sure it's very challenging when a favored supplier goes out of business. Also, ur Patty Melts, Reubens & Burgers are excellent! Regards, Steve & Donna

Mustard seed has an amazing burger. Definitely one of my favorite things especially when they put ham on it. Also great fried chicken, chef salad, and any bar munchy food that you might want. Also, a great place to hang out and play pool and darts. Also comfortable for watching the game and hanging out with friends. Good service as well.

Came here Wed. evening and got a half order of nachos, which seemed pretty large size to me and loaded with toppings. Came w guacamole, sour cream and salsa on the side. Plenty of seating, very casual, easy place to meet up with friends if you want a less crowded chill atmosphere.

A separate area from the bar and games, which is handy. The food is quite good. I have had the chicken and the breakfasts, both of which are great!
