Overall food is not that fresh, the sauce bar is very dirty. But the soup base is ok.

Great hot pot experience! A restaurant where a whole family (and friends) can enjoy a sumptuous meal together. We ordered from a QR card and had awesome dishes such as thin slices of beef, tofu, green vegetables, noodles in two sets of soup: spicy and non-spicy. Service was friendly and the staff made sure we had enough of food. The restaurant is spacious and clean. There's a counter for sauces which just need to be replenished and wiped off the spills regularly. Highly recommend for families and groups who want something a bit different.

This place is a gem. We went on a Sunday evening and didn't have to wait for a table. We ordered via QR code and everything came out promptly after. We ordered a split broth - on one side was the mushroom and the other was the mild szechuan version. They balanced each other well. Our waiter kept refilling our broth whenever we ran low and kept tabs on the heat level. Our favorite hotpot ingredients were the enoki mushrooms, angus beef, fresh tofu, and noodles. Their sauce bar was a little more limited than other hotpot restaurants I've tried in the greater Seattle area and you had to pay for it, but it had all the basics (soy sauce, sesame paste/oil, chili oil, garnishes, vinegar). I would return back next time I'm in the area.

I'm so happy there's FINALLY a legit hot pot place near home!! We had a pleasant dinner here and will be back. Service was fantastic - the owners were helpful and sweet. It's easy to get to - just enter through the main center entrance of the Great Wall, and it's the third or so store to your left (across from the sugar cane drink place). We ordered by scanning the QR code. You can add more items later if you'd like. We got the half-half mild spicy beef and tomato. The spice was perfect (I'm a 3-4 star Thai food gal) - I could taste the Szechuan-ness but it wasn't crazy hot and numbing, and it had good flavor! Usually, these types of soups are all spice. There is even an "extra mild" option if you don't like it too spicy. The tomato was comforting. I liked mixing both broths. They refilled our soup every time it got low. We drink a lot of soup! The purple potato starch noodles were so yummy and chewy! The hot pot noodles were tasty as well, especially with the soup. I appreciated that they provided one-time-use aprons for us - I can get messy when dipping and slurping noodles. My only complaint is that they gave us too many veggies for the small jar it came in, so it was a little messy to get out, bahaha. Also, they were out of the wagyu beef - we hope to try this next time!

So... I just walked up by myself. And know I am from SoCal and love Shabu Shabu restaurants, I guess because I was 1 person and not a party of more people, but a server came up and looked at me (I'm mexican) and said we are too busy. The hard part to swallow was that they had 4 or more workers, 4 tables of customers, and 1 table with only 1 Asian person and 4 unoccupied tables and they turned me away. The restaurant is in an Asian shopping center. I feel as if either I didn't fit the culture or because I was only 1 person and they didn't want to "waste" time. Disappointing to say the least.

This is one of the best Szechuan hot pot in the greater Seattle area. The soup broth is so delicious and authentic. The tomato soup base and the spicy soup base are both amazing. The owner is super friendly and brings us freshly made desserts that are in season to end the meal. The ambiance at the restaurant was also great. The group of 5 of us had a really great experience dining here and would definitely recommend this place over the other popular chains.

Once you walk into the Great Wall Mall, you can't miss this place with the big red doors. I was surprised it was fairly quiet on a Friday night, but I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere compared to all the other hot pot places around Seattle that are SO hectic.I highly recommend asking them about the spice scale before ordering, because even "basic" level was quite spicy (in a good way)! The clear broth was also surprisingly flavorful, and everything is made in-house. The person who I assume was the chef chatted with us a lot and was very kind and engaging. A tip that he showed us was to spoon out the clear broth separately just to enjoy alone as a side of soup. The sweet rice cakes were amazing and made fresh to order - not too sweet, super soft but chewy and slightly crispy at the same time. My main criticism is that portions of each item felt off; each ingredient is ordered a la carte, and some seemed quite generous (beef and lamb set) whereas some felt quite skimpy (like the enoki mushrooms), compared to the price. We ended up paying per person similar to an AYCE chain (~$50 each and we were very full), but for the quality of ingredients and to support a small business, I think it was worth it.

First of all, food is 60/100, but the service is the worst. That's why always empty inside. Expensive food with no service. But the man is still required the tips which you are not deserved it.NEVER AGAIN! "Good luck" for your business.
