Muir Woods Coffee House

Had the most delicious mocha here today. The only caveat is that there's no descriptive menu and you'll have to ask for the ingredients of, say, the Polar Bear. They also have lots of different teas.

Stopped by to support the campus coffee shop. The lady that took our order was very nice. When we received our drinks, my horchata latte had a really strong coffee taste. I nicely told the gentleman that the horchata latte did not taste like there were any horchata flavoring, it had no hints of horchata but a very strong coffee taste & if there is any way I can exchange it for something else. He asked his "boss" and his boss stated whatever we ordered we had to drink it, there were no remakes or exchanges. As a paying customer and a college student on a budget I went out of my way to support our campus coffee shop, instead received a drink I was not happy with and I was not able to exchange it for something else. If the customer is not happy, you make them happy. A simple exchange would've brought more future customers but now they just lost customers and a gained a bad review.

Favorite indoor study spot on campus c: the vibes are amazing and I love the big center table for studying in the company of other students. Drinks and pastries are well priced in comparison to other spots on campus and I love that there is a vegan pastry row!Matcha latte is good but a little light on the matcha flavor. Taro latte doesn't taste like taro at all. It just tasted like sweetened milk. Soy milk is no additional charge but oat or almond milk is a dollar extra. The vegan pastries from split bake house are usually pretty good!

I've spent probably way too much money here over the years, but no regrets because the baristas are awesome and the drinks are well-made.I usually get a latte or something similar. Love that steamed milk. They definitely know how to make a good latte here (and good latte art too!) I've had one or two not-as-good experiences, I assume they were newer baristas, but otherwise the quality has been consistently good.It's a pretty nice spot to study as well. Sometimes it can get a bit loud, but I just hop over to the Glacier Point study lounge right next to Roots with my coffee if I need a quieter study spot. I'm going to miss this place.

By far my favorite coffee shop on campus. The inside of this place is super cute and cozy, with ample couches and tables to read or work at. The menu is always handwritten which gives everything a homey vibe. I love how they have unique drinks for each season! Every barista is good at making coffee so the drinks are very consistent. My personal favorite drink is their dirty chai lattes -- I get mine 1/2 vanilla 1/2 spiced. So good! If I ever want to buy coffee on campus, this is always my go to.Tip: Don't be afraid of ordering soy milk because they don't make it more expensive to do so!

Yikes. Came out of my way bc reviews were great. Spent 5 mins discussing my request for an ice blended coffee for some reason she seemed confused. "Welll when you say ice blended....." "we make them buttttt like how do you want it made" uhhhh??? "With espresso?" Well yeah.... It took them 15 mins to make it.And it was the WORST coffee id ever had. Watery milky foamy wtf. And it had grounds in the bottom. In the trash.

This is my favorite coffee spot on campus!!! I want to say thank you to Edgar!!! He was so nice to answer my question and gave me a good recommendation! Nice coffee taste :)
