Unfortunately subpar. Food: The shawarma rice plates have an odd spice that overtakes the food. Not sure what it is but it is unpleasant to eat as far as flavor. It was cooked well but the chicken had some hard tendons left in it that hurt to bite into. The sauce on top was pretty much mayonnaise - I've never tasted a white sauce like that at a Mediterranean spot. The pita on the side was flour tortillasService: Good but nothing special. I asked for beef and lamb shawarma on one of the plates and he assured he could do that. There was no lamb.I would not pay $17.50 per plate again, and probably wouldn't even pay $10 unless they made some serious changes.

This was a huge disappointment. First time ordering, heard such good things. I got a chicken shwarma wrap with added lettuce and seasoned fries. No lettuce, no seasoning on the fries, including salt, and the fries were not even half way cooked. They were still hard in the middle and white on the outside. The shwarma was pure curry flavored, nothing else. If I'd wanted curry chicken I would have ordered it. We got a side of falafel, which was also barely fried and still soft, not crisp at all, and you guessed it, tasted like curry patties, not chickpeas. We ordered both types of baklava. The $6.99 Nutella baklava was 2- 1 inch squares. They forgot to include their "most popular" baklava in the order at all. It was too many things that tasted poorly or weren't even cooked properly to think there was a new cook. Plus forgotten items in the order. Overall it was a waste of money and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone. No one there seemed to care about quality control or accuracy.

Mr Shawarma has the best burgers in town. If you are ever in the area and want to try Iraqi food this is the perfect spot to try. The owner is very kind and welcoming to all customers. Highly recommended. 10/10 in taste, quality and flavor.This is a very inspiring business. Started as food truck then became a full restaurant.

The service is good. Lady who took an order and made us food is very nice. The food is pretty good. However, we took order to go, and all the sauces were just on the plates, so it is spilled all around. Would be better if they would put sauce in those little plastic containers so everything stay closed and doesn't spill. The food truck looks pretty fun. Overall, it's not bad for the price, but there are better spots with shawarma for sure.

The food truck was there during the Christmas on Maine event in lakeside. Ordered beef shawarma with a side of fries. Order came out to be like $27 or so. Okay, a bit on the steep side but said it's probably worth it since there's so many good reviews. Waited 20 minutes for the food and was extremely disappointed at the price and portion provided. Walked 5 minutes to the car to find: The hummus provided did not taste good and was doused in oil. The salad was covered in the same oil and and did not taste fresh. The beef and rice had no flavor. We were given tortilla wraps on the side (is this a joke?). The French fries had a sprinkle of seasoning on it and came soggy. This was a miss from me. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. The only nice thing I can say is that the gentleman who took my order was nice.

Very disappointed when I placed an order 24 hrs before via Uber eat delivery and they canceled it last min. While my employees were waiting for their lunch treat, I called to see why it was canceled but the lady who picked up the phone was clueless. We all ended up going to lunch late as I had to order frantically from another restaurant and because it was a big order, we had to wait way past lunch hour. Thankfully my employees understood. This is truly not professional on their end. I will never order from them again.

This food was delicious. Highly recommend, hence the name of the restaurant , shawarma. I personally like the chicken plate with rice because it came with a little salad and some hummus. Brought all my friends here and would recommend anyone else to as well. Service was quick and the art was really pretty.

I was making laps around Little Italy looking for parking spot but it was such a busy Saturday and we saw their truck stopped at Mobil. Easily one of the best shawarmas ive ever had. I didnt expect for the servings to be so large specially for their burger and beef shawarma rice. Shawarma had so much beef i could barely see the rice, baklava was oozing with flavor and the burger was not dry at all.
