Mr Shawarma

I came here late at night around 10 pm with some friends to grab dinner takeout. Parking was easy as they have a parking lot and there were plenty of spaces. The young lady working the register was friendly and provided great service. She explained to me what the sauces were and let me pick which Baklava to take home. I ended up ordering two hamburgers in addition to the Baklava and they were the bomb! You can taste the fresh ingredients and they were huge! One half was the size of my hand. They do cut the burger in half for you, which I appreciated cuz there was no way I could eat the entire burger in one sitting. I'm not usually a sauce person but the sauces added the extra oomph needed to knock the food out of the park. Get it on the side if you aren't sure.I ordered the Habibi burger and Hangover burger, both delicious even days later. I ended up splitting them into 4 meals, lmao. The price was reasonable too. Totally worth a visit.

El Cajon location. I've eaten at a ton of Shawarma joints and this one is falls somewhere in the middle of the pack. The food truck has a strong following so I'm assuming some of the scores are carryover. I thought it was pretty basic. There was plenty of room for seating but most of the area inside was empty. Service was fast and friendly. I had the Mr Shawarma plate with beef over rice. It was just under $20. It was filling but nothing special. If you're craving shawarma and already driving by, it wouldn't hurt to try it but I don't think I'll be back.

The food was delicious. The service was outstanding! Friendly and helpful staff made our visit complete. We are from Tucson, Arizona. We will definitely return and make this a regular place to eat when we visit our cousins. The restaurant was softly sounded, having citrus water readily available was an excellent touch on a warm afternoon. We will definitely be back soon!

Mr. Shawarma and his crew 6 some tasty food. I stopped in for an early dinner before the rush. I had a Middle Eastern Pita stuffed with beef shawarma, pickles, tomatoes, onions, parsley, sumac, and tahini sauce with side, and I choose seasoned waffle fries.The beef shawarma was tender and tasty, and the pita came stuffed with a good amount. I like the tahini sauce it was flavorful and not overly done. The onions and pickles worked very well in this pita sandwich. I would have liked it better if they would warm up the pits bread. It was cold and gave a dry texture as a result. They should warm it up in the hot griddle they use.The waffle fries were great. They were crispy and well seasoned. They were great eating with they Jajeek sauce with yogurt, cucumber, and mint. The service was very nice. They young lady at the counter was very sweet. I look forward to returning.

I was in town visiting and passed by and decided to try them out. I opted for the Beef & Lamb Shawarma bowl with Hummus and feta Cheese. You won't go away hungry and everything was seasoned well. The gentleman that took my order and prepared my food was friendly and offered recommendations to dress my bowl. I would definitely comeback the next time I'm in town and in this area. It's a large size establishment with plenty of seating.

Service is with a smile. Food is viable and Fresh. Open kitchen style. Clean. Highly recommend the shawarma.

Came here and was in the mood for middle eastern food. I started things off with hangover burger, the patty had so much flavor I enjoyed it! We also got a lamb shank to try over rice and it was so flavorful. We also got a Turkish Potato stuffed with veggies and chicken shawarma. Really good ! My favorite item on the menu was the double trouble wrap where it came with chicken and beef shawarma! Super yummy ! Also the baklava with Ice cream in between! So definitely coming back here !
