For a random branch venture they were pretty good. And decently quick once you ordered. Prices are close to on par with other taco shops that are away from the beach. 5 rolled tacos were about $9, they were pretty filling for two adults too.

Great Carne Asada Fries! Came in and ordered to go, to take to the park across the way. Great salsas at the salsa bar! The beef was so tender!Throughly enjoyed the great food and fast service. Guy at the counter gave some local information which was appreciated!Highly recommend!

Great little dive place on the beach that we were told about. Amazing food and gigantic portions! Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Visiting from NorCal and wanted Mexican food. This place didn't disappoint. The food was so delicious and full of flavor! It was conveniently located right off the beach and had a cool beachy vibe. Service was quick as well!

My friend and I shared some carne asada fries after dancing at Belmont Park. This was open and within walking distance, so it's very convenient. The food came out super fast, but I wish the fries were crispier and the meat was more flavorful. Adding hot sauce made it so much better though. I also got a pineapple agua Fresca, but it didn't taste natural.

I ordered huevos rancheros and a side of rice online. It was nice that they had online ordering available, since there's no parking to be had in the area. My plan was to circle the block while my kid ran in and picked the order up. The website says, "Save time and hassle! Order online!"Oddly, it asked me to choose my method of payment, but only gave me one choice: pay in restaurant. I thought, "how does that save me time?" But I mentally shrugged and ordered anyway, since at least it could be ready when we came to pick it up, if not paid for.But I would say buyer beware on the online ordering system. Because they ended up taking the whole twenty from my kid, claiming we'd ordered two sides of rice. Even though she showed them the screenshot of the order total showing $14.96. She came back out almost in tears (she's 11 and doesn't deal well with adults telling her the wrong thing) because of how long she'd been wrangling with them. They were telling her $20 wasn't enough for our order. She showed me the bag of food and I wondered why it looked like so much.I sent her back inside with the bag because I didn't want or order two sides of rice. I wanted my $5 back. She came back out 15 minutes later even more upset because they were difficult to communicate with and wouldn't give her the right order.For the record, when she went back in, they ultimately kept the receipt, so I haven't got anything to give you a visual comparison of the discrepancy between what we ordered and what they gave us. The food was good. It was a reasonable amount for the price. I just took two stars off because the online ordering system obviously has glitches, there's no place to park so an adult can go inside to work out the glitches with counter staff, and with all that combined hassle, it took us 30 minutes and a bunch of stress to pick up our "time saving" online order that ultimately wasn't even correct.

I love coming to Ruriberto's whenever I go to Mission Beach! Quick and friendly service. My go-to order is the adobada tacos (comes with two) with the rice & beans platter. Nice big portion, perfect for a filling lunch. Enjoy your meal inside or right on the beach.

First time here and the food was really bad I ordered chilaquiles they just poured salsa tortillas were not freshly deep fried or cooked with sauce at least not the authentic way. Definitely over priced not worth eating here save your money and go somewhere else .

ordered chicken enchiladas but when i went to eat i saw pieces of pork inside. we went back to ask for a refund and the worker stuck his fingers in the enchiladas (with no gloves) and ate a piece to "make sure". then another guy came and said he can't give us a refund because of the "state of the box".
